Vikrant fills Mannat’s hairline with vermilion and promises that he will never abandon her again. When thunder strikes, he hugs her to comfort her. Vikrant admits that he is not a perfect man and has many flaws, but his love for her is true. He explains that everyone has someone in their life who guides them and teaches them the difference between right and wrong. For him, that person is Mannat. He tells her that she can shout at him or even beat him, but she must never abandon him. He also promises that he will keep trying to make things right between them and will never leave her again. Vikrant notices Mannat’s wound and becomes worried about her. However, Mannat assures him that it is only a small wound and there is nothing to worry about. She jokingly adds that she now has a husband who can take care of her. Vikrant promises to look after his wife and applies ointment to her wound. They share a romantic eye lock before spending some quality time together.
Later, Vishaka thinks about how Dhairya has gone against her for the first time. She realises that he will not allow her to separate Mannat and Vikrant, so she decides that she must separate the couple herself to clear her path. When Dhairya arrives to meet her, Vishaka believes that her son is too loving to hurt his own mother. She pretends to cry to gain his sympathy, and Dhairya asks her why she is crying. Vishaka complains that he closed the door in her face and says she cannot accept such behaviour from him.
Dhairya apologises, but Vishaka continues to express her pain. She says that when her husband died, nobody noticed her suffering. Similarly, when her son was taken away from her, nobody cared about her pain. However, she feels that Dhairya is more concerned about Mannat’s suffering than his own mother’s. Vishaka admits that she is being selfish because she wants her son back and does not care about anyone else’s feelings. Dhairya says he understands her pain and reminds her that he has promised to help her get her son back. However, he insists that she must not hurt Mannat because she is innocent. He explains that Vishaka wants her son’s happiness, but Mannat is the person who makes him happy. He asks Vishaka to stop hurting Mannat, and she agrees.
Meanwhile, Aishwarya is transferred to the hospital. Dhairya tells the inspector that she is unwell and must receive proper medical care. He signs the necessary papers and sends the officers away. Aishwarya praises Dhairya for his help and says she is finally free from jail. However, she makes it clear that she is not satisfied with being free for just four days. She wants Dhairya to help secure her permanent release so she can take revenge on Mannat and the Saluja family.
Later, Mannat visits Mezbani and greets the staff. As she remembers what happened between her and Vikrant the previous day, Shalini asks her to sign the contract and enquires about Vikrant. Mannat explains that he has gone to Delhi to handle some customs clearance work for Puneet. She blushes as she thinks about Vikrant and worries that Shruthi will not leave her alone once she discovers what happened between them.
Just then, Vikrant arrives and declares that Mannat is his wife, so there is nothing wrong with what happened between them. He tells her not to worry about it, applies vermilion to her cheek, and leaves. Soon after, Anirudh calls Mannat and informs her that Aishwarya has been transferred to the hospital. He warns Mannat that Aishwarya might have a plan behind her transfer.
Meanwhile, Dhairya tells Aishwarya that he agreed to her dirty plan to get her transferred to the hospital for three days, but he never agreed to help her secure permanent freedom.
