Anupama remembers Rahi’s accusations and breaks down in tears. She looks at Anuj’s picture and asks if he heard what Rahi said to her. Unable to bear the pain of her daughter’s harsh words, Anupama admits that she does not regret slapping Rahi this time because Rahi has misbehaved with her many times before. She recalls that Rahi behaved badly in the past, too, but she chose to forgive her. However, Anupama says Rahi crossed the limit by speaking so badly about her.

Anupama begs Anuj to return and hold her hand in front of everyone, asking them not to trouble her anymore. She tells him to come back or she will begin to believe that he never loved her. As she continues pleading with him, Anuj appears in her imagination and comforts her. Anupama is shocked when he suddenly disappears, but she thanks him for always being her shadow. She says Anuj helped her believe in herself again and admits that she cannot break down in front of others because they will judge her. According to Anupama, only Anuj truly understands her tears. She then vows to fulfil his dream.
Meanwhile, Anil asks Vasundhara if she stayed awake all night and urges her to put an end to the matter. However, Vasundhara says she cannot forget the insult she suffered from the Shah family and blames Anupama for everything. Gautam then questions Anupama’s character, but Prem immediately shuts him down. Prem admits that he is angry with Anupama, but he will not allow anyone to question her character. Khyati also supports Anupama, leaving Vasundhara to question whether she is blindly following her.
Khyati fires back by asking Vasundhara how she allowed Parag to meet his friends in London. She also reminds Vasundhara that Shruti, who lived with Anuj in a live-in relationship, was welcomed into their house. Khyati questions why Vasundhara constantly taunts only her and Anupama. Rahi tells everyone to stop mentioning Anupama’s name because it disgusts her. Khyati warns Rahi not to lose her peace of mind because someone is fuelling her anger. She also tells Rahi that one day she might end up losing her mother.
Elsewhere, Digvijay decides to leave, but Anupama encourages him to stay. She tells him not to leave and allow others to believe that he had bad intentions. Anupama makes it clear that she will fulfil Saavi and Anuj’s dream with or without his support. She adds that Digvijay is free to make his own decision.
Shruti later speaks to Khyati and assures her that as long as she is around, Rahi will never lose her mother. Shruti explains that she lived with Anuj hoping they would eventually get married. She then suggests that Anupama living with Digvijay could mean one of two things: either their relationship is about to begin or it has already started. Khyati is shocked by Shruti’s words.
Anupama remains determined not to let anything distract her from her mission. She decides to move forward with or without anyone’s support and repeats that Digvijay must make his own decision. Meanwhile, Kinjal, Mahi, Ansh, and Ishani stop Hasmuk from cleaning. Hasmuk explains that he is only cleaning the dirt in the house, but he cannot clean the dirty minds of the people around him. Pakhi and Paritosh complain that Anupama never does anything for them, yet Hasmuk continues to support her. Hasmuk becomes angry with them, while Leela asks him to speak to Digvijay and convince him to return home. However, Hasmuk refuses, saying he will not stop either Anupama or Digvijay from making their own decisions.
Meanwhile, both Anupama and Rahi struggle with their emotions. Digvijay tries to comfort Anupama, while Rahi tells Prem that she can never be Anupama’s priority. Digvijay suggests that Rahi may have felt hurt because Anupama slapped her in front of the Kotharis and Prem. Anupama admits that she lost control after hearing Rahi’s accusations and questions how a daughter could speak so badly about her own mother.
