Ayush tells Rishi that he no longer knows whom to trust because Lakshmi has broken his trust. He regrets trusting her blindly and feels that everything around him is a lie. He says he feels lost and questions his own existence as he breaks down in tears. Rishi becomes worried about him. Ayush admits that he feels guilty for thinking badly of Lakshmi because he used to fight with Rishi, Karishma and the others to defend her. However, he now realises that everything Rishi said in court was true, and he understands the pain Rishi must have felt.

Ayush says that their relationships have changed and he no longer wants to continue his relationship with Shalu. Rishi asks him to forget everything that has happened and not let the situation cloud his judgment. He explains that he has never been unfair towards Lakshmi. Although they often fought, they always found a way to resolve their differences together. Rishi encourages Ayush to speak to Shalu, sort out their problems and give their relationship another chance.
However, Rishi admits that he has always stood by Lakshmi until now, when she has allegedly taken Neelam’s life. He says he cannot forgive Lakshmi for such a serious crime, and Ayush understands his feelings. Meanwhile, Shalu tells Anushka that Rishi and Lakshmi will eventually reunite and that she will also reconcile with Ayush. Shalu becomes emotional as she speaks about her hopes, but Anushka laughs at her and asks whether she thinks everyone is foolish enough to believe her.
Anushka questions Shalu about her missing engagement ring and taunts her. She claims that she knows the Oberoi family very well. Shalu asks who has been giving Anushka information about the family, but Anushka refuses to name Malishka. Instead, she says that several people in the family keep her informed about everything. She also claims that Ayush and his family loved her. Shalu refuses to believe her, and their argument continues.
Anushka accuses Shalu of turning Ayush, Neelam and Karishma against her. Shalu says she knows who has been feeding Anushka information and declares that Malishka has stooped even lower than Anushka. She insists that she is not afraid of either of them because she knows the truth. Shalu directly accuses Malishka and Anushka of killing Neelam and promises to prove their crime and expose them. Anushka becomes worried when Shalu reveals that Lakshmi overheard the conversation between her and Malishka.
Shalu continues to challenge Anushka, insisting that Ayush loves her deeply. She admits that they sometimes fight but believes that their arguments are also filled with love. Shalu is convinced that Ayush may have kept her engagement ring in his pocket because he is waiting for her to return. She proudly speaks about their love and insists that Ayush will eventually marry her. She refuses to believe that Anushka can separate them, leaving Anushka furious.
Meanwhile, Rishi wants the truth about Neelam’s death to come out and promises that the real culprit will suffer. He does not want Ayush and Shalu’s lives to be ruined by the situation. He defends Shalu, insisting that she is innocent and should not be punished for someone else’s crime. Rishi asks Ayush not to sacrifice his love because of another person’s actions.
Ayush admits that he loves Shalu and knows that she loves him deeply. However, he explains that Shalu loves Lakshmi more than anyone else, and their love alone cannot build a family. He says a couple also needs the support of their family members, and he wants Rishi, Karishma, Aanchal and Harleen to remain part of his life. Ayush fears that his family will never accept Shalu because she is Lakshmi’s sister and will continue to insult her. He cannot marry Shalu if he cannot guarantee that she will be treated with respect. He therefore decides to sacrifice his love and endure the pain for the sake of his family.
Rishi tells Ayush that he faced a similar situation when he had to choose between his love and his family. He chose Lakshmi and left his family for her, but now regrets choosing Lakshmi over Neelam. He accuses Lakshmi of causing the situation and advises Ayush to think carefully before making a decision that will affect the rest of his life. Ayush, however, insists that he has already decided to end his relationship with Shalu. Malishka overhears their conversation and becomes delighted by his decision.
Meanwhile, Shalu returns home in tears. Rano notices that she is deeply upset and asks what happened after she went to meet the lawyer. Shalu explains that she met the lawyer before going to the Oberoi mansion to see Ayush. However, Ayush accused Lakshmi of killing Neelam. Rano is shocked and questions how Ayush could call Lakshmi a murderer. She becomes angry and says that a family should not lose faith in someone so easily. Rano also regrets that Rishi no longer trusts Lakshmi, despite always claiming to love and believe in her. She says Rishi has proved himself to be a bad husband by putting Lakshmi through so much suffering. Rano expresses her dislike for Rishi and asks Shalu not to say anything more because both Rishi and Ayush have disappointed them.
Shalu then reveals that Ayush has broken up with her and refused to marry her. Rano is shocked and asks why he made such a decision. Shalu explains that Ayush believes she is the sister of a murderer and that the Oberois will never accept her. Rano becomes emotional as she understands how much Shalu is suffering. She questions whether marriage is a joke to Ayush and the Oberois and worries about her daughter’s future. Rano declares that she will not spare the Oberois, but Shalu tries to stop her. Rano insists that she should be allowed to confront Ayush.
Meanwhile, the inspector informs Lakshmi and the other inmates that they are being transferred to another police station before being taken to court. Lakshmi gets into the police jeep as the transfer begins. Elsewhere, Anushka meets Malishka and tells her that she encountered Shalu outside the house. She explains that they had a heated argument and reveals that Shalu threatened to expose them.
Malishka tells Anushka not to be afraid of Shalu, claiming that Shalu has no power without Lakshmi. She says Ayush is against Shalu and will never marry her, adding that he has already told Rishi about his decision and intends to stick to it. Meanwhile, Lakshmi recalls Rishi’s words and understands why he is angry with her. She knows he does not know the truth and is only believing the evidence presented against her. Lakshmi desperately wants to tell him what really happened. She decides that she must meet Rishi and explain Paro’s mistake.
During the transfer, the female prisoners attempt to escape. One of the women grabs a gun and points it at the inspector, threatening him. Lakshmi tells her to stop, but the situation takes a sudden turn when the driver crashes the vehicle into a pole. Amid the confusion, a constable frees Lakshmi, and the woman tells her to run away. Lakshmi refuses to accept their actions and insists that they cannot break the law.
Meanwhile, Malishka continues reassuring Anushka that she has nothing to worry about. Anushka admits that although Ayush has temporarily rejected Shalu, Shalu sounded confident enough to win him back. Malishka remains convinced that neither Rishi nor Ayush will ever accept Lakshmi and Shalu into their lives. She asks Anushka to trust her and insists that Ayush will never marry Shalu. Malishka points out that everyone loved Neelam, Lakshmi is being blamed for her murder, and the family is already upset with Shalu. Anushka thanks Malishka for giving her hope and admits that she wants to marry Ayush. She asks Malishka to keep her updated before leaving.
Back with Lakshmi, the escaped prisoner tells her to stop lecturing her and run away. Lakshmi refuses to flee because she wants to meet Rishi and Paro and reveal the truth. She eventually agrees to go with the woman, explaining that she must see her daughter. The inspector warns Lakshmi not to trust dangerous criminals, but she explains that she wants to meet Paro and had already requested permission, which he refused to grant. Lakshmi acknowledges that escaping is wrong but insists that she is ready to help the police. The woman becomes furious with Lakshmi, hits her on the head and leaves her feeling dizzy before taking her away.
