Dana was out with her friends when she met up with a former classmate. She had her children with her and questioned Dana about her own since she was pregnant after she got married. Dana was not able to answer her and went ahead.

She felt hurt because she would never have children and feared that David might leave her.
Dana finally returned to work and the staff happily welcomed her back. David met up with her and said that he did not want to give up on their marriage. They therefore decided to work things out together.
Meanwhile, Kai’s brother, Harry, who worked at Empire Builders got in trouble for inaccurate reports. He had been gambling and went into dept.
Jia started her chemo therapy in Singapore because Kai insisted that she get treated. She had a hard time because of the pregnancy but she tried to stay strong. Her hair fell off and she too went into debt because the treatment was expensive. She however refused to ask for Adam’s help. She decided to go back to Manila and give birth to her child there.
Harry picked Jia and Kai from the Airport. He was about to bring them home but Jia suddenly went into labor. Harry rushed them to the hospital and Jia gave birth to a son. He was put in an incubator because he was born immature and weak. They still refused to ask Adam for his help.
Harry did not listen to Kai and Jia and texted Adam to tell him what was going on. Lucy saw the text and sent one back saying that they were not interested in what was happening to Jia. When Harry came to the office, Lucy fired him because of the money he had stolen. She also threatened him not to go see Adam because she would tell him about what he had done.
Lucy’s friend was worried about the child and asked if Lucy would be able to handle it if something happened to the child. Lucy called Harry back and offered to pay for the medical bills. She offered to pay off the money he owed to the gambling lords who were after him but in exchange he would have to bring Jia’s baby to her.
When Jia was discharged, Kai asked Harry to get the child. A fire suddenly happened at the hospital and they were told that all the children at the incubation area had died.
