Amanda was found guilty of killing Adam while Gab was also convicted for falsifying the DNA test documents. They both went to prison. Lucy was acquitted for Adam’s murder and released from prison. Simon told her that Jia was very helpful because she was the one who found crucial evidence against Amanda. Lucy however refused to thank her. Jia said she did it to find her father’s real killer.
Simon received Adam’s original will from Amanda’s land lady and the Wongs had to meet again to discuss the distribution of assets. Lucy and Dana tried to bribe the lawyer so that he wouldn’t execute the will but he refused to accept their money. Meanwhile, Jia and Kai decided not to accept any money from Adam. Jia said she would only take the 270 million from Dana to recover RJ&E and put Michael’s inheritance in a trust fund.
Dana called Michael who was staying with Helen in Singapore. He told her that Jia and David would be visiting him soon. She got upset and instead told Michael that she would go there to get him. Helen told David what Dana was planning and he asked her to move to another place before Dana arrived.
The man who had Harry confined, The Boss, called Lucy and demanded to have 20 million for the work she had done for him. Harry however managed to escape from him and went to the Wong residence. He was planning to talk to Adam and tell him everything Lucy had done but he found out that Adam died. Lucy was worried and called the Boss to come and get Harry. The Boss however shot Harry outside Lucy’s house.
Harry was taken to the hospital and Simon went to see Lucy to ask about her involvement. Lucy said she did not know anything.
Kai and Jia were finally able to reunite with Harry at the hospital and he told them everything he went through during the time he was missing. Kai confronted Lucy and decided to file charges against her. Lucy decided to flee the country with Dana before she was arrested. Dana however refused to go with her before they received their inheritance. Lucy let Dana meet the lawyer and they agreed to meet at the airport.
David drove Jia to the office to meet with the lawyer. She relinquished all her rights to her inheritance and only took 270 million. Dana arrived later and found David at the parking lot. He said that he brought Jia and Dana got mad. She went inside to look for Jia.
Lucy was anxious that Dana would not return so he sent the Boss to get her. She ordered him to bring Dana back by force. Jia saw him and rushed to the parking lot so that they could leave. But Dana followed her with a gun. She wanted to shoot Jia and David tried to stop her.
The Boss arrived and took Dana. Jia tried to save her but got shot on the hand. The boss took Dana to the van and Jia asked David to stop them. He tried to fight with the boss and Dana took a bullet to her side. David was also shot on the back as the boss ran away. David told Jia that he loved her and asked her to take care of Dana. He died and both Jia and Dana mourned his death.
Dana and Jia decided to forgive each other after the harm they did to each other. Kai dropped her case against Lucy and asked her to come out of hiding to see Dana. The four of them apologized to each other and forgave the wrongs they had done. Lucy eventually decided to turn herself in and went to prison for what she did to Harry. Dana and Jia merged RJ&E and Dragon Empire Builders and ran the companies together.
