Anshuman tells Karan that Shaurya can be released the following day if Karan agrees to give him half of his property. Karan firmly refuses, saying that he would rather donate all his property to a temple than give Anshuman a single penny. Anshuman threatens to make sure Shaurya dies in jail, but Preeta scolds him for making such a cruel statement. Karan remains confident that Shaurya will be released and leaves with Preeta. Meanwhile, Anshuman tells himself that he will win no matter what.

Later, Preeta asks Karan what has happened and why he looks troubled. Karan explains that Anshuman is targeting both his sons, and he cannot understand what Anshuman wants from them. Preeta is confused until Karan explains that Rajveer is also like a son to him. She assures him that she knows he will save his sons. Karan then apologises for what happened to her at Anshuman’s house, but Preeta tells him that he is not responsible for Anshuman’s behaviour and does not need to apologise.
Karan tells Preeta that he likes the tea she makes herself. Preeta gets out of the car and goes to a tea shop, where she buys two cups of tea and asks Mohan to have one. She assures him that she will always support his children. Karan asks her what happened to Kavya, prompting Preeta to remember Varun and Alia. She decides to tell Karan about Varun after the matter with Anshuman is settled. She then tells Karan that his children are sweet and that she will continue supporting them.
Meanwhile, Beeji and Shanaya arrive at the Luthra house. Beeji asks Nidhi why she did not inform them about Shaurya’s arrest, explaining that family members should support one another during difficult times. However, Nidhi tells them to leave. Shanaya reminds her that she is Shaurya’s fiancée and is worried about him. Nidhi insists that she is Shaurya’s mother and that nobody is more important than her. She taunts Beeji and Shanaya and orders them to leave. Shanaya asks Nidhi not to behave disrespectfully towards Beeji.
Rakhi arrives and greets Beeji, who complains about Nidhi’s behaviour. Nidhi goes inside, while Rakhi apologises to Beeji on her behalf. Shanaya, however, thinks that Nidhi will not be able to stop her from becoming a daughter-in-law of the Luthra family. She vows that Nidhi will regret treating her this way.
Later, Nidhi tells Kareena that Shanaya’s family is strange. Kareena says that Nidhi has misunderstood Shanaya and insists that Shanaya is not the right choice for Shaurya. Nidhi responds that she will put an end to Shanaya’s place in Shaurya’s life.
At the police station, Shanaya visits Shaurya and tells him that she is proud of him and believes he has done nothing wrong. She asks him not to compare himself with Rajveer before leaving. Shaurya thinks about her words and realises that she is right.
Meanwhile, Rajveer asks Palki to go home, but she refuses, explaining that his health is her priority and she cannot take any risks. Rajveer promises that he will not go anywhere, but Palki insists on staying to take care of him. He calls her stubborn, while she explains that she is only concerned about him.
Palki tells Rajveer that he has many different sides to his personality, and he agrees with her. She points out that he gets angry whenever he sees Karan, but Karan is not a bad person. Rajveer refuses to discuss Karan, so Palki asks him to calm down and call her if he needs anything. Rajveer tells her that she is special to him and holds an important place in his life. He asks her to give him a chance to explain himself if she ever thinks he has done something wrong. He insists that he does not want to lose her under any circumstances. Palki agrees to give him a chance and leaves. Rajveer then recalls the moments he has shared with her.
Elsewhere, Preeta thanks Karan for dropping her home and invites him inside to have the tea she makes herself. Karan declines, saying that Rajveer might not like it if he visits at that hour. He also tells Preeta that she is lucky to have Rajveer living with her. Preeta says goodbye and goes inside. Karan thinks about the relationship he shares with Preeta and how, despite their bond, they are not together. He then leaves.
When Preeta enters the house, Rajveer asks why she is late. She explains that Karan dropped her off. Rajveer warns her to stay away from Karan, claiming that he only brings problems into their lives and is a bad person. Preeta scolds him for speaking badly about Karan and warns that she will stop talking to him if he continues insulting him.
Meanwhile, Karan returns to the Luthra house, where Nidhi tells him that she is the only person who cares about Shaurya. Karan says that he is exhausted and wants to sleep. Nidhi questions why he has changed, reminding him that he always protected Shaurya in the past but is no longer doing enough to help him. Karan explains that Shaurya made mistakes in the past and eventually started committing crimes. He adds that there is solid evidence against Shaurya this time, which is why securing bail is difficult. Nidhi then brings up Preeta, but Karan asks her not to start another argument and goes inside.
Later, Preeta tells Gurpreet that she cannot understand why Rajveer is always against Karan. She says that Rajveer’s hatred seems to have no reason, and this bothers her. Gurpreet privately thinks that Rajveer has many reasons for his hatred. Preeta points out that Karan is not related to them, yet he continues doing so much for them. Gurpreet tells her that Karan means everything to her, leaving Preeta confused. Gurpreet quickly changes the subject, while Preeta decides that she will convince Rajveer the following day.
The next day, Preeta tells Rajveer that Anshuman claimed he works for him. Rajveer replies that it does not matter who he works for because he will never do anything wrong. He also insists that Shaurya is in jail unnecessarily. Preeta tells him about Anshuman’s challenge, and Rajveer assures her that he will stand with both her and Karan to help save Shaurya.
