Rajveer tells Palki that Preeta met Anshuman the previous day to convince him, but her efforts were unsuccessful. He informs Palki about Preeta’s challenge, and she agrees that Preeta did the right thing. Rajveer promises to support Preeta and help her win the challenge, making Palki happy. However, he clarifies that he is not doing it for Karan or Shaurya. Palki nods and leaves.

Meanwhile, Karan wakes up, and Nidhi tells him that she wants to talk to him. He asks her not to start an argument so early in the morning, explaining that he already knows what she wants to discuss. He tells her to focus on solving his problem, but when Nidhi asks what the problem is, Karan bluntly says that she is his problem. He admits that he cannot understand what is wrong with her, while Nidhi complains that he does not understand her feelings. Karan suggests that they take a break and avoid talking to each other for a few days. Nidhi apologises for what happened the previous night, but Karan insists that they need some time apart and goes to the bathroom.
Later, Preeta arrives at the Luthra house and tells Girish that she will prepare a special juice for Dadi. Nidhi becomes angry when she sees Preeta and questions why she has returned. Preeta explains that she wants Dadi to remain healthy and assures Nidhi that she has no intention of hurting her. Nidhi insists that Preeta is already hurting her, but Preeta says she has no time to argue with her and heads to the kitchen.
Preeta tells Rakhi that Dadi is not allowed to drink tea, which is why she arrived early to prepare special juice for her. She also offers to make tea for the rest of the family. Rakhi agrees and leaves the kitchen.
The Luthras later ask Rakhi about their tea, and she tells them that Preeta is preparing it for them and will also bring special juice for Dadi. Everyone becomes excited, except Kareena, who remains unhappy about Preeta’s presence.
In the kitchen, Nidhi confronts Preeta and accuses her of crossing her limits and trying to take her place in the Luthra family. Preeta denies this and goes to the hall with Dadi’s juice. She gently convinces Dadi to drink it before serving tea to the others. Kareena refuses to drink the tea, but the rest of the family praises its taste. Rakhi even remarks that they will now have the opportunity to enjoy Preeta’s tea every day.
Nidhi becomes frustrated and declares that she should pack her luggage and leave the house. Karan takes her aside and scolds her for making such a statement. Nidhi asks how she is supposed to tolerate the situation, but Karan points out that she has never made tea for the family herself. He then tells the others that Nidhi was only joking.
Meanwhile, Shanaya visits Shaurya in jail and asks how he is doing. Shaurya sarcastically questions how she expects him to feel when he is behind bars. Palki arrives, and Shanaya angrily leaves. Palki tells Shaurya that his family is worried because of him and advises him to change his attitude. She then leaves, while Shaurya thinks that his time will come.
Later, Nidhi enters the kitchen and laughs at Preeta. Preeta notices that something is wrong with her laughter and asks her to explain what is bothering her. Nidhi says that if Preeta had any self-respect, she would not still be in the house. She accuses Preeta of deliberately troubling her, but Preeta insists that she does not understand what is upsetting Nidhi and is willing to explain herself.
Nidhi repeats that Preeta is trying to take her place in the Luthra family. Preeta dismisses this as Nidhi’s imagination. Nidhi accuses her of trying to become Shaurya’s mother and Rakhi’s daughter-in-law. Preeta asks her not to overthink the situation or make unnecessary assumptions, explaining that making tea cannot make her take someone else’s place.
Nidhi then insults Preeta, claiming that she is poor and is trying to trap wealthy people. Preeta tells her to stop making such accusations and questions whether Nidhi is truly a good mother to Shaurya. She argues that if Nidhi were genuinely concerned about her son, she would not waste her time fighting with her. Nidhi angrily tells Preeta to shut up.
Preeta further points out that Nidhi would have approached Anshuman if she truly cared about getting Shaurya released. She tells Nidhi that all she can see in her eyes is hatred and jealousy. Rakhi arrives and informs Preeta that Karan is calling her. Preeta leaves, while Nidhi complains to Rakhi that Preeta has insulted her. However, Rakhi tells Nidhi that Preeta only spoke the truth before leaving.
Karan then asks Preeta to accompany him to the lawyer’s office, and she leaves with him. Mahesh praises Preeta’s intelligence and says he now believes that Shaurya will return home soon. Rakhi agrees with him, but Kareena wonders why everyone has suddenly started supporting Preeta. Kritika tells her that Preeta deserves all the appreciation she is receiving.
On their way, Preeta advises Karan to treat Nidhi well because she understands why Nidhi is behaving that way. Karan calls Preeta his lucky charm. Preeta admits that she does not feel like a stranger when she is with him, which makes Karan happy.
Meanwhile, Rakhi tells Kareena that Preeta is a member of their family. Kareena argues that Nidhi is the one who raised Shaurya. Dadi responds that Nidhi is foolish while Preeta is smart. She adds that Nidhi did not even care about her pain and declares that she will not forgive her.
Nidhi overhears their conversation and confronts them, accusing the family of using her until Preeta returned and made her unnecessary. She asks Dadi whether she is blind. Kareena and Rakhi scold Nidhi, while Dadi says that the family is facing problems because of her. Nidhi accuses them of joining forces against her, but Rakhi tells her to stop arguing and do something useful to help Shaurya.
Later, Mr Malkani shows the CCTV footage to Preeta and Karan. Preeta explains that they need a copy of the footage to prove Shaurya’s innocence.
Meanwhile, Anshuman visits Shaurya in jail and pretends to feel sorry for him. He tells Shaurya that Karan had an opportunity to save him but refused to do so. Shaurya becomes angry upon hearing this. Anshuman then threatens to reveal something about Karan, claiming that Shaurya will hate his father once he learns the truth.
