Neha promises to investigate the matter thoroughly because she knows Lakshmi could never kill Neelam. Shalu thanks her for believing in Lakshmi’s innocence. Neha then asks why Lakshmi confessed to the crime if she did not kill Neelam. Shalu asks whether Neha will help Lakshmi without knowing the reason behind her confession, and Neha agrees. She explains that she wants to understand what really happened on the day Neelam died. Shalu tells her everything, including how Lakshmi appeared in the footage while walking towards the corridor where the chandelier rope had been cut.

Neha suggests that they watch the entire footage carefully to see whether they can find any clues. Meanwhile, Bhavna lies to Aanchal and the police about Lakshmi and prevents them from entering the room. She tells the inspector that she wants to file a complaint against Mukesh. Bhavna claims that Mukesh has been cheating on her and became angry when she questioned him about Mamta. She adds that Mamta also rebuked her. Bhavna further alleges that Mukesh lost his temper, kidnapped Mamta and threatened to kill her. Aanchal becomes worried, and the police immediately leave to look for Mukesh. Aanchal asks Bhavna if she is alright, and Bhavna assures her that she is fine. She then asks the constables to accompany the inspector and help him with the search. Aanchal assures Bhavna that she is there for her.
After successfully distracting Aanchal and the police, Bhavna becomes worried about what will happen next. Meanwhile, Malishka discovers Lakshmi hiding in the house and brings her to the living room. She calls the entire family together and announces that Lakshmi has been hiding in their house. Malishka blames Rishi for hiding Lakshmi, but he denies knowing anything about it. Aanchal asks Malishka to stop shouting and making a scene, explaining that all she wants is justice for Neelam.
Lakshmi pleads with Aanchal to believe her, insisting that she did not kill Neelam and is innocent. Just then, Neha and Shalu arrive. Neha supports Lakshmi and reveals that someone tampered with the footage. She explains that she now has the original footage that will expose the truth. Aanchal asks Malishka to calm down and listen to Neha. She reveals that Neha is a detective who came to investigate the case and that Shalu helped her solve it. Neha declares that Lakshmi is not Neelam’s murderer, but Malishka tells her to shut up.
Neha insists that she has proof to support her claims. Shalu then confronts Malishka, leaving Ayush wondering what she means. Shalu questions why nobody believed Lakshmi when she denied the accusations in court. She reminds the family that Lakshmi had accused Malishka of killing Neelam and had also mentioned Anushka’s involvement. However, nobody took her words seriously. Shalu explains that Lakshmi left for some time before returning and taking the blame upon herself, yet nobody questioned why she made that decision. Lakshmi tries to stop Shalu from revealing everything, but Shalu asks her to remain calm and assures her that she will not break her promise.
Shalu explains that Lakshmi was trying to protect someone and refuses to reveal that person’s identity. However, she insists that Lakshmi is innocent and did not kill Neelam. She then exposes Malishka, Kiran and Anushka for plotting the entire scheme. Shalu also reveals that Anushka was present on the day of the Godh Bharai ceremony and promises to show everyone the evidence.
Shalu asks Mukesh to switch on the television, and Ayush plays the footage. The family watches as Lakshmi is seen near the staircase, cleaning up the mess, while Anushka pours oil to frame her. Shalu proves that Lakshmi was falsely accused and reveals that the entire plan was Malishka’s idea. Rishi is shocked and questions how Malishka could do such a thing, but she denies the accusations. Lakshmi asks Malishka to stop lying, while Ayush encourages Shalu to continue exposing the truth.
Shalu warns Malishka and tells Rishi that she also has evidence concerning the paternity of Malishka’s child. She presents the DNA reports and explains that these are the original reports that Malishka and Kiran had hidden. Rishi examines the reports and realizes that Lakshmi was right all along. The results confirm that Balwinder is the father of Malishka’s child. Malishka denies the truth again, but Shalu orders her to remain quiet. She then urges Rishi to believe Lakshmi because she did not kill Neelam.
Shalu presents the final footage, which shows Lakshmi walking through the corridor without touching the chandelier rope. The footage then reveals Malishka arriving and cutting the rope herself. Shalu explains that Lakshmi had nothing to do with Neelam’s death and that Malishka was the one who planned the murder. She further reveals that Malishka tampered with the footage to deceive Rishi and turn him against Lakshmi. Shalu demands that Malishka be punished for killing Neelam, but Malishka insists that the accusations are lies. Neha confirms that the footage Shalu presented is the original recording.
Aanchal asks Malishka directly whether she killed Neelam, while Rishi questions how she could stoop so low just to separate him from Lakshmi. He also asks why she killed Neelam when Neelam had always supported her. Furious and heartbroken, Rishi rebukes Malishka and throws her out of the house.
Rishi then apologizes to Lakshmi for treating her unfairly and admits that he was wrong not to believe her. Lakshmi tells him that he does not need to apologize, but Rishi insists that they should always have faith in each other. Aanchal also apologizes to Lakshmi for doubting her. Ayush admits that he failed to become Lakshmi’s Lakshman and apologizes to both Lakshmi and Shalu. Shalu forgives him, while Lakshmi assures everyone that they are still a family and promises that they will always remain united.
The family celebrates Lakshmi and praises her for proving her innocence, giving her the name Bhagya Lakshmi. Rishi embraces Lakshmi, and the show ends on a happy note as they reunite. Ayush and Shalu also get their relationship back on track, while Aanchal blesses both couples.
