The Good Son on zee one Sunday 9th April 2023 update, Episode starts with Vedant thinking about Pankhudi and Purva’s words. He thinks Purva did everything to take him out of jail then why she will make him eat bhang laddoos and thinks something was wrong for sure. Purva wakes up in the morning and is about to message him about Ramesh, but thinks she shall not trouble him now. She comes and gets her jewellery from the jeweller, he asks her to pay 1 lakh. She thinks she has to get the money from Vedant.

Vedant comes to the hospital and asks receptionist about his appointments. Receptionist says no appointments. Dr. Rashmi comes to him and asks him to come fast. He goes out to check a patient, but her husband tells that he will not get her operated by him. Just then Patient dies. Vedant is shocked and comes to his cabin. He thinks Purva ruined his career
and blames her, crying.
Dadi asks Ramesh why is he not drinking tea today. Manjula says she will make another tea. Vedant returns home. Ramesh is checking the calculations and blames Vedant for stealing the money. Vedant says hospital is not running nice and tells that less patients are coming. He says there is expenses and charity to handle. Ramesh scolds him and asks him to give the money. He sees Purva and asks her to give jewellery to her. Dadi asks if she brought the jewellery. Purva says yes and hesitant to say. Jeweller’s man comes there and asks for 1 lakh. Rupa scolds her and pay the money to the jeweller’s man. He says 1 lakh is wasted in a day and tells him that his wife is like him. He says he will keep the jewellery with him.
Vedant thinks what is happening. Dadi asks will you keep bahu’s jewellery. Ramesh says yes and tells that it will be useful to us. Purva is still in shock due to the humiliation which she faced yesterday. Pankhudi comes home. Dadi apologizes to Vedant. Purva thinks why Vedant is silent. Pankhudi asks Purva what happened? She tells that Vedant has so much respect in hospital and here, he is insulted. She sees him going and asks Purva if she accepts his insult. Purva says no and tells that she don’t accept his insult and tells that he shall understand that they need him, but don’t care for him. Pankhudi looks at Vedant. Purva tells no person of self respect can stay here, and tells that she will take him from there. She goes. Pankhudi thinks best part is that you tells everything straight, which will not go well with Vedant. She says he will not hear anything against his family.
Sanju tells that all calculation is cleared in 2 lines. Gomti looks at Purva’s jewellery and appreciates Sanju and Ramesh for getting Purva’s jewellery. Sanju says I passed the idea to Papa to get her jewellery. He asks to give something. Ramesh gives money. Sanju says he wants what he asks. Purva talks to Vedant and tells that she went to hospital and came to know that his salary is less. Vedant tells that he has nothing and says he works all day and night so that he can help people. Purva says nobody gave her money when she asked them except Dadi. Vedant argues with her. Purva says you don’t worry about your self respect and says they think of you as Servant. Vedant asks then why do you make me eat bhang laddoo, and tells that a patient died because of you. Purva is shocked and asks how can you blame me? She says I would never such a thing. She says I will never bring laddoo directly to you if I want to take revenge. She says first of all I will never think doing anything against you. She realizes Pankhudi gave her laddoos and is about to tell him, but he doesn’t listen to her. Pankhudi hears them and thinks she has to hide from her until Vedant hates Purva.
Ramesh asks Sanju if he really wants to marry Pankhudi and tells that he couldn’t bear Purva. Sanju says he likes Pankhudi. Ramesh asks him to convince Pankhudi and tells that it will be fun when Purva gets defeated. Sanju says he will convince her. Purva comes to Dadi. Dadi asks will you forgive us and tells that Ramesh did wrong with you and Vedant couldn’t say anything and says peace and happiness of family is his everything. Purva says he thinks of everyone, but nobody cares for him. Dadi says that’s why I want you both to go from here, but he don’t want to go and think that he will win everyone’s heart.
Purva coming to Pankhudi’s room and looks for her. Pankhudi gets tensed. Purva goes out. Sanju comes to Pankhudi’s room and forcibly takes selfie with her. Pankhudi threatens to complain to Ramesh about him. Sanju tells that he has already taken his permission and tells that this is last time when she is asking him to go. Purva comes back and asks what is happening? Sanju says your sister is refusing to teach him. Purva closes the door and asks Pankhudi why did you give bhang laddoos to Vedant that day and says he went to jail also. She asks why she was silent and didn’t tell anything to anyone. Pankhudi lies to her that the laddoos was meant for her. Purva says bhang laddoo. Pankhudi tells that Sanju gave her bhang laddoos and she didn’t know that it was bhang laddoos,
and tells that Sanju is troubling her badly and made her eat one of the laddoos. She says she doesn’t want to trouble her and that’s why didn’t say anything. Purva says you didn’t tell me and bearing everything. Pankhudi hugs her and wipes her fake tears.
Narendra tells Gomti that fatty things make the person unwell. Ramesh gets a message to open the door silently. He coughs and goes out. He finds a chit outside threatening him to give him for the work which he had done. He gets tensed and goes to his room. He picks a call. A man threatens him not to think of vanishing and asks to give money. Ramesh asks for the time till evening. He takes out Purva’s jewellery and smiles.
Vedant is sitting at the road side on the bench and is teary eyes. He thinks of Pankhudi’s words that Purva didn’t stop him from having bhang laddoos. He thinks of Purva’s words. She calls him, but he rejects her calls repeatedly. Dadi calls him. He picks the call. Dadi asks him to rush home fast. Vedant says I am coming. Dadi tells Purva that Vedant is coming. She asks him to trust Vedant. Purva says both shall trust each other and says how can he think that I made him have bhang laddoos intentionally. Dadi says you both have to earn each other’s trust and asks her to take a initiative. Purva says he don’t want to listen to me. Dadi says your love will make him realize your trust. He says he was always yearning for love which he never got and asks her to make him believe that he will be loved and cared by someone. Purva says you are right, I was just thinking about me, and tells that she will tell her truth and will make their relation of trust.
Purva looks in the mirror and thinks they will unite today. She thinks your heart is very loving and thinks to tell him that she loves him. She gets ready, wears rings, make up etc. Pankhudi walks to Purva’s room and sees the decoration. She asks Purva what is she doing? Purva says how am I looking? She says she is waiting for her husband and tells that their wait is going to end. Pankhudi acts infront of her and offers help to light candles. Purva asks her to light candles. Pankhudi looks upset. Vedant comes running to Dadi and asks what happened? Dadi asks him to handle his marriage and asks him to tell why is he sad? Vedant says how can the close relations betray me? Dadi says did you try to hear her truth and gives him diary milk to share with Purva. Vedant smiles.
Pankhudi looks at her forehead and thinks the sindoor which fell in Di’s maang by mistake, she won’t let it become real. She says Vedant is her first love and Purva was about to divorce him. She says she wants to marry him and says Vedant can be only of Pankhudi and not of Purva di. She acts crazy.
Vedant comes to his room. Purva gets up from bed happily and closes the door. She asks him to come inside. She says I didn’t know that the laddoo had bhang in it. Vedant says you don’t need to clarify and tells that he took out his anger on her as his patient died. Purva says you made me realize about your feelings which you keep hidden most of the time. She plays music and comes near him. She says I am sorry….Baho ke darmiyan…..plays…..They sit on bed. He kisses on her cheeks. He then says I am sorry and tells that you are the one person after Dada and Dadi to think about me. Purva says I will keep you before me and says promise. Vedant says I love you.
