Lakshmi’s Home On ZeeWorld Full Story, Plot Summary, Cast and Teasers

Lakshmi’s Home On ZeeWorld Full Story is about a woman who trades privilege for love. Born into immense wealth, Lakshmi makes the ultimate choice of a life of luxury for true love and willingly forfeits it all to marry Shriniwas, or Srinivas in the Hindi version.

From there she lives the life she chose, anchored inside a middle-class traditional joint family, spending 35 years in a rented house. She is described as a strong-willed woman and together the couple holds onto one unyielding dream, to build an independent house of their own and to call it Lakshmi’s home. The whole story is built around that very middle-class aspiration, a touching narrative grounded in the daily experiences of joint families who have spent years prioritizing family over personal desire while chasing two goals at once, creating their own home and securing their daughters’ futures.

That future becomes the test. As they navigate financial hurdles and domestic sacrifice, their endurance is stretched by what happens to their daughters. Their elder daughter Bhavana has to constantly defend her integrity and marital rights against the orthodox pride of her elite rural in-laws, the Gade-Patils, while the younger daughter Janhavi silently suffers the toxic and manipulative abuse of her husband Jayant. In the middle of it all Lakshmi becomes the protective shield of the family, relying on a strong moral compass to try and rescue her daughters from domestic exploitation while still holding onto her husband’s dream of a home.
