Aparajita and Rakshit pray to the moon for their parents’ happiness. Aparajita wishes to do something for her parents but is unsure what she can do. Just then, she sees a shooting star and hopes that everything will be better from now on. Rakshit also notices the shooting star and believes that something good is about to happen.

Meanwhile, Sudha enters the room and notices the sarees on the bed. Rakshit tells her that he feels he has failed to carry forward Arvind’s legacy. Sudha asks him not to think that way, reminding him that he is the one who built the fashion house.
Rakshit explains that if Arvind were fine, his Maheshwari saree would have been offered to Goddess Narmada during the Narmada festival. He says he has always seen the pride on Arvind’s face every year, but that happiness has been missing for the past four years. Rakshit adds that although they have made many sarees, they have managed to produce only eight Maheshwari sarees. He feels that he has succeeded as a businessman but failed as a son. Therefore, he has decided to make sure their saree is offered to Goddess Narmada this year. Sudha expresses confidence in his ability to achieve this and hugs him.
Rakshit suddenly notices a shadow near the door and goes to check. Badi Maa loses her balance and falls down. Sudha questions what she was doing there, but Rakshit says Badi Maa is keeping an eye on him to see how he is doing. He tells Sudha that Badi Maa has reminded him about Arvind’s legacy, so he will now concentrate on fulfilling his responsibility. Sudha assures him that she trusts him. However, Badi Maa thinks that Rakshit is ruining her plans.
The following morning, Aparajita announces that breakfast is ready, but Aradhya says she is not hungry. Bua points out that Aparajita has prepared so many dishes. Aparajita explains that she made all their favourite foods. Avinash comments that Aparajita created the problem in the first place and is now trying to fix it. Aparajita makes it clear that if the situation arises again, she will stand up for her sister once more.
Malti reminds Aparajita that she is only a guest for a few days and should eat before leaving. She then walks into the kitchen. Aparajita tries to convince her family by dancing, and everyone eventually joins her.
Meanwhile, Rohan arrives with his parents, and Ramgopal welcomes them. Pramila notices everyone having a good time and comments that it looks like they are having a party. Aparajita explains that they were simply having breakfast.
Pramila then tells Ramgopal that there should be no shortcomings in the wedding celebrations. She explains that although the bride’s family usually handles all the wedding expenses, Rohan loves Aradhya so much that they have decided to share the costs. Malti becomes happy hearing this.
However, Pramila soon makes insulting remarks, saying she does not think Ramgopal can meet their expectations. She taunts the family by pointing out that only one person in their household earns money. She then hands them a list of the wedding functions and their expenses. Malti and Ramgopal are shocked when they see the list. Avinash calculates the total cost and reveals that it is 15 lakhs.
Aradhya questions Rohan about the list, but Pramila asks Ramgopal to inform her as soon as possible whether he can manage the expenses. She then takes Rohan away.
