Palki tells Kritika and Kavya that Rajveer is a very caring person. Kavya agrees and says that he is always ready to help everyone. Kritika adds that Rajveer is just like Karan. Palki explains that Shaurya and Rajveer met under the wrong circumstances, which is why Rajveer hates him. Kavya suggests that Nidhi should talk to Shaurya about Rajveer since he listens to her. However, Palki believes Nidhi dislikes Rajveer and will never discuss the matter with Shaurya.

Meanwhile, at the police station, Nidhi tells Shaurya that she has lost her position in the Luthra family because of Preeta and Rajveer. Shaurya assures her that Preeta can never take her place and Rajveer can never take his. Nidhi explains that Rakhi has also turned against her because of Preeta. Shaurya says he needs to get out of the lockup to protect her. He promises that once he is released, he will not allow Preeta and Rajveer to enter the house again. Nidhi then reveals that she spoke to Karan and believes he might give his property to Rajveer. Shaurya asks her not to worry.
Back at the Luthra house, Rajveer agrees with Preeta that they need to find another solution. Karan decides to visit Anshuman’s house and speak to him, but Preeta warns him that it is not a good idea. Nidhi arrives and suggests that Karan should give half of his property to Anshuman so that Shaurya can be released from the lockup. However, Karan refuses to give Anshuman even a single penny.
Preeta suggests that Rajveer should meet Anshuman and pretend to be on his side. Palki doubts that Anshuman will trust Rajveer, but Rajveer assures her that he knows how to gain his trust. He then tells Karan that he needs his help, and Karan agrees.
The two go to Karan’s room, where Rajveer explains that giving Anshuman the file will make him trust him again. Karan opens his locker, while Rajveer goes to the washroom. Nidhi enters the room and tells Karan that Anshuman is the real player because he is getting everything he wants. She also warns Karan that Rajveer cannot be trusted. However, Karan assures her that he trusts Rajveer.
When Rajveer returns, Karan hands him the file, and they go downstairs. Nidhi warns Karan that they could lose the file if anything goes wrong, but Karan remains confident that their plan will work.
Rajveer then calls Anshuman and puts the phone on speaker. Anshuman scolds him for failing to steal the file and accuses him of choosing the Luthras over him. Rajveer asks him not to bring up the past and manages to convince him to meet. He then ends the call.
Later, Dadi worries about Shaurya, but Karan assures her that he will be released soon. Dadi asks Karan to drop Preeta home. Nidhi immediately offers to accompany them, explaining that it would not look good if Preeta travelled alone with Karan.
Meanwhile, Palki tells Rajveer that Shanaya is upset with her because she believes Palki is trying to impress the Luthras. Rajveer says that even Shaurya fails to understand his intentions. He also admits that he is stressed about his meeting the following day.
Palki realises that Rajveer must be worried about the meeting and apologises for disturbing him with her personal problems. Rajveer tells her that she is his responsibility and that he wants to do everything for her. They share a romantic eye lock before Palki warns him to be careful because Anshuman is very cunning. Rajveer says he likes it when she cares about him.
Palki then asks Rajveer why Karan slit his wrist. Rajveer explains that he is human and, like everyone else, makes mistakes. He admits that he became angry that day and needs to learn how to control his anger. He also reveals that Karan slit his wrist because he did not trust him. Palki reminds him that nobody is completely right or wrong and thanks him for allowing her into his life. They look at the moon together, and when Palki asks whether she should leave, Rajveer requests that she stay a little longer.
Elsewhere, Karan asks Preeta to sit in the front seat while Nidhi takes the driver’s seat. He reminds Preeta to wear her seat belt before they leave. After reaching Preeta’s house, Karan opens the car door for her. Nidhi comments that Karan is a gentleman. Once Preeta goes inside, Karan questions Nidhi about her behaviour. Nidhi tells him that his love for Preeta is clearly visible in his eyes, but Preeta only sees him as Shaurya’s father. She adds that she did everything to protect Preeta and then claims that she is sleepy. They leave together.
Later, Preeta recalls the moments she shared with Karan and wonders why she keeps thinking about him. She decides that she needs to talk to him.
Meanwhile, Nidhi visits Karan’s room and asks him not to stay close to Preeta all the time because she could end up in danger. Karan explains that he only meets Preeta normally and is not trying to bring back her old memories. He assures Nidhi that he has answers to all her questions, even if she asks him about their past. Nidhi then leaves.
The following day, Anshuman thinks Rajveer is afraid of him and has decided to return to his side.
However, Rajveer has a different plan. He reminds himself that Anshuman has wronged the Luthra family and promises to give him a befitting reply. He also vows to send Anshuman to jail because he is a Luthra too. Rajveer answers Anshuman’s call and agrees to meet him in a hotel conference room. He then calls Karan and explains everything. Karan wishes him good luck and promises to reach the hotel soon before ending the call.
Meanwhile, Shanaya questions Palki about how the police allow her to meet Shaurya every day. Palki tells her that she is not going to meet Shaurya. Shanaya accuses her of trying to ruin her image in front of the Luthras. Palki questions why Shanaya has suddenly started doubting her intentions, but Shanaya refuses to continue the conversation.
At the hotel, Preeta asks Rajveer to check the room properly. Karan suggests installing cameras and tells Rajveer to make sure Anshuman confesses to his wrongdoings. He even says that Rajveer can beat Anshuman if necessary, but Preeta warns Rajveer not to do anything like that.
Karan insists that they must install the cameras and microphones as soon as possible. He tells Rajveer not to worry because he and Preeta will monitor everything from another room. Preeta is confident that Anshuman has no idea about their plan and will eventually confess to everything.
Anshuman arrives at the hotel and asks the receptionist for the business conference room. Nidhi spots him and hopes he does not notice her. Anshuman enters the conference room and finds Rajveer waiting for him. He questions why Rajveer looks surprised. Rajveer is relieved that Karan and Preeta have not arrived yet. He explains that he did not expect Anshuman to bring other people along.
Anshuman introduces his lawyer and secretary to Rajveer.
Meanwhile, Karan and Preeta enter another room. Karan asks Preeta to connect the laptop so they can monitor everything happening in the conference room. They are happy to see that everything is working properly. Karan then asks whether Preeta has taken her medicine. She says she will take it after eating something, so Karan goes to order food for her.
Nidhi notices everything happening. When Preeta enters the washroom, Nidhi secretly inserts a hairpin into the door lock, trapping her inside. She believes that Preeta will remain stuck in the washroom and will not be able to spend time with Karan until Rajveer’s mission is over. Nidhi then leaves.
Preeta struggles to open the washroom door. She becomes worried because she has not even switched on the recording yet, and Rajveer’s entire plan could fail if they do not record Anshuman’s confession.
Meanwhile, Anshuman asks Rajveer whether he has really changed his decision. Rajveer hands him the file and claims that he brought it because he has changed his mind. However, he secretly wonders why the recording has not started.
Anshuman gives the file to his lawyer and reveals that he suspected Rajveer, which is why he changed the meeting venue at the last moment. He explains that Shaurya is still behind bars, so he cannot afford to take any risks. Since Rajveer booked the conference room, Anshuman wants his people to check the place.
Elsewhere, Palki asks Shanaya whether she thinks she is interested in Shaurya. Shanaya admits that she knows Palki hates Shaurya but believes she is only trying to remain in the Luthras’ good books. Palki explains that she is simply helping Rajveer and Preeta before walking away.
Back in the conference room, Anshuman orders his people to search the place thoroughly. Rajveer becomes worried, but Anshuman eventually tells them to stop. He explains that he behaved that way because Rajveer had betrayed him.
Meanwhile, Preeta screams for help from inside the washroom. Kavya and Palki hear her and rush to help. Preeta asks them to open the door, and Palki goes to get someone. She returns with a hotel staff member, who manages to open the door.
Preeta immediately switches on the recording. Rajveer notices the green light and realises that he can finally begin his mission. He then asks Anshuman why he has a problem with Karan.
