Saras and Kumud On Starlife Tuesday 29th April 2025 Update, Kalika enters Kumud and Saras’s bedroom. She looks around at the decorations and says, “Today Saras is yours, but this night will not be yours. You’ll see how I burn this in front of your eyes.” She goes to the power box and turns the lights off. She takes a torch and says, “I have switched off the main switch, now you see Kumud.” She puts a wire on the bed. She hears the sound of a car and runs to see. She says, “How come they came so early? What should I do now? How will I leave from here?” She hides. Danny and Kusum stop Saras and Kumud. Kusum says, “Let’s do the Grah Pravesh first.” Saras asks Danny why the lights are off. Danny says, “Maybe the power went. How will we do the rituals?” Kusum says, “No worries, Kumud will be bringing lights into our house.”

She goes to bring the aarti plate and Danny goes to check the fuse. Saras asks Kumud to do their ritual till they come back. Kumud smiles. Danny checks the fuse and sees the main switch is off. He calls Kusum and asks who has switched off the mains. She says she doesn’t know and tells him to hurry up. He switches it on, but the power doesn’t come back. He checks the fuse and says it’s blown. Kusum asks what they will do now. Danny says he’ll call the electrician after the Grah Pravesh. Saras asks about the lights. Danny says the fuse blew and he called the electrician. Kusum does the Grah Pravesh and smiles. Kalika sees this while standing far away.
Kalika thinks they are standing at the door, how should she leave now. Everyone would be looking for her at home. Kusum does the tilak and aarti of Saras and Kumud. Kumud and Saras smile. Kusum welcomes them inside the house. Saras and Kumud step in. Kusum does all the rituals. Kumud marks the floor with her red footprints. Kusum asks Saras and Kumud to go to their room. Kalika is tense. Saras and Kumud walk towards their room with Kusum.
Kusum asks Saras for her nek. Saras asks what. Danny says before Suhaagraat, the groom has to pay the tax to the women. Saras gives her a lot of money as nek. Kusum is happy. Danny asks for his share. Kumud opens the door and they walk in. Saras and Kumud are shocked to see fire on the bed. Even Danny and Kusum are shocked. Kumud cries. Kusum consoles her. Danny says there were lights near the bed, so it caught fire. Danny says he called the electrician. Kusum asks who closed the main. Danny says maybe he did. He says they decorated the room with so much love. Saras says they can see that seeing Danny’s face. He says they are still happy. Kumud smiles. Saras hugs Danny and says they will sleep in the hall, it’s fine.
Kusum says no, sleep in our room. Danny says they should get some privacy. Saras says they should go to their room. Danny agrees and says to lock the drawing room, they won’t disturb them. Saras looks at Kumud. Kumud says how did this happen. Saras says nothing, so many feelings are pending. It’s their dream night and he won’t let it pass away like this. Kumud asks what special he will do. He says come with him, he will tell her. She asks where. Saras brings her to the cloth factory. Kumud asks what he is doing and tells him to open the door or she will come inside. Saras says two minutes. She says it’s night and they should go home, she doesn’t want any surprise.
Saras takes her inside while closing her eyes. She opens her eyes and sees the hall fully decorated and turned into a bedroom with candles and hanging cloths. Kumud smiles seeing it. Music plays.
Kusum comes to Danny while he stares at her, holding a book in his hand. She feels shy. He closes the book and gets up from the bed to reach her. He comes to her and looks at her. He holds her and she closes her eyes. She turns and says her favourite show is airing on TV and they should watch it. He says no way, they will watch a cricket match. They argue. Scene shifts to Kumud and Saras. Saras looks at her and comes closer to her. Mann ke Dor plays. Saras touches her and she closes her eyes. Saras lifts her in his arms. Kumud smiles.
Saras asks Kumud to don her Ghunghat. He asks if anyone is there at home. She asks who it is. He says please open the door, he wants to meet his bride. She asks who she is. He praises her. He says she is Kumud Desai, he wants to meet her. She says there is no Kumud here. He says he knows she lives here, they got married today and it’s their Suhaagraat now. She says to go from there. He says he knows she lives there and if she doesn’t open the door, he will break it. He breaks the door and falls on her, smiling.
