Saras and Kumud On Starlife Wednesday 30th April 2025 Update, Saras asks Kumud why she lied that Kumud Desai is not at home. She replies, “I did not lie; there is no Kumud Desai. Kumud Saraswatichandra is here.” Saras laughs. He says her earrings are nice. She tells him Badimaa brought them. He compliments her bangles, and she says they were Kusum’s choice. Saras says Kusum has good taste. He then asks about the ring he gave her, and she says it’s very beautiful. He begins removing her jewellery one by one. She smiles shyly. He stares at her and gets closer. She closes her eyes as he blows gently on her face. Mann ke dor plays in the background.

He holds her chin and makes her look at him. She turns away and pulls her ghunghat between them. He touches her hand while the music continues playing.
The next morning, the Desai house is unusually silent with only Kumud and Kusum present. Kalika serves tea to everyone. Vidyachatur says the clock seems louder than usual today. Dadaji says it’s always the same. Badimaa talks about Kumud, and everyone discusses how the daily routine feels incomplete without her.
Kalika, annoyed, is secretly pleased about the fire incident at Saras’s house.
Saras, Kumud, Kusum, and Danny arrive to meet everyone. They look happy and greet the family. Everyone is cheerful together.
Danny begins working with Yash. Saras signs to Kumud, and she asks why everyone is staring at her. Badimaa says they were just talking about her. Saras says they will always be together. Badimaa offers to bring breakfast. Kusum brings tea again and says it was already prepared.
Saras holds Kumud’s hand. Kalika notices their romance and thinks to herself that yesterday’s fire didn’t even produce smoke. Kalika asks Kumud how the night was in the new room and house and if everything is fine. Kumud responds that everything is good, but Kalika finds it hard to believe.
Laxminandan arrives. Danny and Kusum greet him. He talks to Danny while Saras looks upset. Laxminandan says that women work daily and should take a break today. He suggests they order food from a restaurant. Yash’s mum declines. Kumud suggests an alternative: the men will cook today. Yash’s mum objects, saying it wouldn’t look good. Laxminandan jokingly says they’ll prove they can cook well.
He jokes with Vidyachatur, and everyone laughs. Danny also volunteers to cook. Dadaji asks Saras to join them. Saras says he doesn’t know how to cook and won’t be able to do it. Vidyachatur tells him that now he’s part of their team and shouldn’t miss a chance to impress his wife. Everyone encourages Saras to join, and he agrees. The men head to the kitchen, ready to cook. Everyone smiles.
Badimaa says to Kumud, “What did you do? I won’t be able to eat today.” Kumud responds, “This will bring Saras and Laxminandan closer. They may even hug.”
The men begin discussing what to cook after looking at the vegetables. They start preparing the food. Badimaa enters the kitchen and tells them to leave the cooking to her, as it doesn’t look proper. Dadaji asks her to leave. Vidyachatur playfully says he doesn’t know her and escorts her out. He then tells Saras to work on the flour. Laxminandan goes over to Saras and helps him.
The men continue cooking. Dadaji supervises everyone. Yash’s mum enters and is shocked to see the messy kitchen. Danny sends her out. Kusum smiles at Danny. Vidyachatur tells Kusum to leave as well.
Everyone works together in the kitchen. Laxminandan notes that the potatoes are still raw and hard. Saras looks on. Vidyachatur asks Saras to think of a solution. Saras says they’ll see their love, not the taste of the food. Dadaji agrees.
Kumud watches them from outside. They fry small puris. Kumud calls Vidyachatur and says she planned all this so that Saras and Laxminandan would start talking. He tells her to watch what he does next. He goes to Saras and gets him to work closely with Laxminandan.
Saras moves beside Laxminandan. Kumud sees this and feels happy. Suddenly, hot oil is about to spill completely on Laxminandan, but Saras quickly pushes him aside and shouts, “Dad!” Still, some hot oil splashes on both Saras and Laxminandan.
Kumud rushes to them and starts first aid. Badimaa and everyone else gather and ask what happened. Vidyachatur explains that Saras saved his father. Everyone is worried. Laxminandan looks at Saras and smiles.
Kumud blames herself for the idea. Saras says it was no one’s fault—accidents can happen to anyone. He lightly taunts Laxminandan. Everyone looks on.
