Rakhi notices Karan crying and approaches him. Karan also sees her and immediately hugs her. The next day, Nidhi and Aarohi visit the police station. Aarohi tells Shaurya that Nidhi is the best mother in the world. She explains that Nidhi has not been eating or sleeping properly since Shaurya was arrested. Nidhi assures Shaurya that he will be released soon and reveals that Karan has agreed to hand over his entire property to Anshuman.

Shaurya says he always knew that Karan loved him so much. However, Nidhi tells him that he is wrong. She explains that Rajveer is also behind bars and Anshuman demanded the entire property, so Karan agreed to the deal to save Rajveer. Shaurya becomes furious after hearing this. Nidhi tells him that Karan is ready to sacrifice everything for Rajveer. She adds that she is happy Shaurya will soon be released.
Meanwhile, Preeta enters Karan’s room and finds him sleeping on Rakhi’s lap. Both Karan and Rakhi wake up when she arrives. Rakhi asks Preeta to stay with Karan because her presence will make him feel better. She then goes to prepare tea, leaving them alone.
Preeta encourages Karan not to lose hope and asks him to reconsider his decision. However, Karan explains that giving up his property is the only way to save Rajveer and Shaurya. Preeta questions whether he is making the right decision, reminding him that Anshuman is not trustworthy and may demand something else even after getting the property. Karan insists that they must take the risk to secure their sons’ release. Unknown to them, Kavya overhears their conversation.
At the police station, Palki informs Rajveer about Anshuman’s blackmail. Rajveer insists that Anshuman should not receive even a single penny. He feels guilty about the situation, but Palki asks him not to blame himself. She assures him that she trusts Preeta and believes she will not allow anything wrong to happen before leaving.
Elsewhere, Aarohi tells Nidhi that she has sacrificed so much for the Luthras, yet they do not appreciate her. She cannot understand why the family continues to defend Preeta. They soon discover that Preeta is at the Luthra house, and Nidhi prepares to confront her. However, Aarohi stops her, warning that she could lose Kavya if she reacts against Preeta.
Meanwhile, Shaurya keeps thinking about Nidhi’s words. He becomes angry and promises to make Karan pay for everything.
Anshuman arrives at the Luthra house with his lawyer. He apologises to the family for all the problems they have faced because of him. He claims that everything started because of Karan and adds that he lost several clients because of him. Preeta immediately defends Karan, explaining that none of it was his fault. Nidhi and Kareena quickly tell her to remain silent.
Anshuman informs Karan that he has brought the necessary papers. Preeta points out that Karan took a loan using the property, so Anshuman should take responsibility for the loan after signing the deal. Anshuman says he wants to discuss the matter with his lawyer first. Kareena takes Preeta inside and scolds her for interfering. However, Karan defends Preeta, saying she must have a reason for making that suggestion.
Rakhi also supports Preeta and explains that she was only trying to confuse Anshuman. She reminds Kareena that Preeta has always protected the Luthras. She saved them from Monisha, Sherlyn and Prithvi, and also protected Kritika from Akshay. Preeta is confused as she listens to Rakhi’s words.
Karan asks Rakhi to stop, but she insists that she needs to speak up. She reminds Kareena that Preeta also saved the family from Sonakshi. Preeta wonders when she did all those things. Rakhi explains that the family always lived peacefully whenever Preeta was around. She is also confident that Shaurya and Rajveer will be released because of Preeta. Kareena says she is not surprised by Rakhi’s support, but Rakhi makes it clear that she trusts Preeta completely. Preeta then reminds everyone that they should not give Anshuman too much time to think about the deal.
Meanwhile, Anshuman tells his lawyer that he is not interested in taking property that has legal complications. When the Luthras return, Anshuman informs Karan that he no longer wants his property. Karan immediately asks what will happen to Shaurya and Rajveer’s release. Anshuman tells him to find another way to secure their freedom.
Karan complains that Anshuman is being unfair, but Preeta comes up with another idea. She suggests that Anshuman can make a profit by entering into a business partnership with the Luthras. Anshuman likes the proposal and tells Karan that they will announce their business partnership at the party the following day before leaving.
Elsewhere, Varun tells Roma that it is not the right time for her to leave. Roma explains that she needs a break from their mother-and-son relationship. Preeta overhears their conversation and asks Roma what she means. Roma quickly covers up by saying that she is tired of doing household chores and was only talking about taking a vacation. She reveals that she is going to Dubai and leaves. Preeta tells Varun that she understands Roma’s feelings. Varun offers to drop her off, but Preeta refuses and walks away.
Anshuman later warns his lawyer to be careful with the business deal because the Luthras are always playing games. He describes them as oversmart, especially Preeta, and insists that they cannot be trusted.
Back at the Luthra house, Rakhi asks Karan not to worry because they have not lost anything. Nidhi disagrees and claims that Preeta’s plan will never work. She insists that Anshuman is not foolish enough to accept the proposed partnership. Nidhi reminds everyone that she was also a businesswoman and is certain Anshuman will reject the offer.
Karan receives a call from Anshuman and learns that he will return with his lawyer the following day. Karan then calls Preeta and asks her to come to the Luthra house. Preeta tells him that she will first visit the temple. Rakhi offers to accompany her.
The next day, Preeta arrives at the Luthra house, where Nidhi taunts her for coming up with a failed plan. However, Anshuman soon arrives and informs Karan that he wants a larger share in the business. He warns that Karan will eventually become his employee. Karan and Preeta agree to his conditions.
Anshuman tells Karan that they will meet again at the party. He then reveals that he likes the Luthra house and wants it transferred into his name before leaving. Preeta is disappointed and admits that she did not expect things to turn out this way. Karan tells her not to worry about it.
