We start with DD in her bedroom, on the phone with the police inspector.
She asks why they allowed such a criminal go.
He says they can’t stop him from making bail but he is under house arrest; they received orders from their boss that he should be placed under house arrest.
In the middle of the night, Gafoor calls Rajveer on the phone to complain that he’s stuck in Mumbai under house arrest while Rajveer is roaming free.
Rajveer leaves the room to take the call.
Gafoor says someone has got the police to keep an eye on him so he can’t leave the room or Mumbai and if he gets caught again, he will tell them about Rajveer.
Rajveer says he knows someone is behind it and he will handle it.
Sid sneaks out of his room in the middle of the night.
Rajveer gets dressed in a hooded jacket and also leaves his room.
Pratima sees Rajveer going out and points it out to Bablu.
Bablu says he is probably going out for a smoke.
Sid and Rajveer sneak out of the house without running into one another.
Sid meets his informant in front of the house where Gafoor is being held.
They wait behind a bush to see if anyone will come and visit Gafoor.
Rajveer arrives and they see him hiding in a corner but they can’t see his face.
Rajveer sees the police in front of the building and throws some money. The police run after the money.
Sid tells his friend to wait while he follows the man in the hooded jacket.
He follows Rajveer into the building.
Rajveer feels someone following him so he stops and turns but Sid docks and Rajveer doesn’t see him.
Rajveer enters the room to see Gafoor.
Gafoor tells him to get him out or he won’t spare him.
Rajveer tells him there are policeman outside; they will have to use money against the police.
He tells Gafoor to come with him.
They head to the door and as they head downstairs, Sid follows them.
Outside, there is a band playing and people dancing.
Rajveer and Gafoor get into their midst.
Sid follows.
Gafoor and Rajveer get lost in the crowd. Rajveer begins to look for Gafoor.
Rajveer starts coughing when he inhales the smoke from the fireworks.
Sid heads him cough and is shocked when he sees his face and realises Rajveer was the one who saved Gafoor.
Sid begins to remember all about Rajveer since he entered DD’s house.
He wonders how he never saw it before.
He says he can’t believe Rajveer will do all these to ruin his in laws’ lives.
He remembers the package that came for Rajveer and the chicken incident, he also remembers all that has been going wrong in the house.
Sid is upset with himself for missing all the signs that pointed to Rajveer as the fraud.
He concludes that Rajveer is very dangerous and came just to ruin their lives but he won’t allow it happen because he knows the truth about him.
He decides not to expose Rajveer till he has evidence first.
Kratika is on the phone. She tells the person to come and pick her because she wants to go out and she’s feeling suffocated.
Simran asks who she was speaking to at such a late hour and where she is going.
Kratika says she was talking to her boyfriend.
Simran asks how come they don’t know who her boyfriend is.
Kratika tells her to stop wasting time on her and focus on her favourite daughter, Roshni.
Simran asks how Roshni came into the matter.
Kratika says she knows how Simran favours her more and so she is going to be with the one who doesn’t pretend to love her.
She leaves the house and goes out to join the boy on the bike.
Simran wonders who he is.
In the morning, Roshni wakes up and sees Sid sitting up and deep in thoughts.
She tells him he hasn’t slept all night.
He says he did and just woke up.
She tells him not to lie to his wife as she knows he didn’t sleep and he can tell her what the problem is.
Sid sneezes and she says she will go and get him something for it.
Sid wipes his tears.
Roshni gets to the kitchen and sees the head servant in tears.
He says he didn’t break Samaira’s favourite lamp on purpose and it was okay when Mona shouted at him but when she left the room, Samaira hit him.
Everyone is gathered in the living room.
DD tells Sid to come and eat with them.
Roshni enters and slaps Samaira.
Mona tells Roshni that Samaira is like an older sister to her and she shouldn’t have done that.
Roshni says Samaira hit the servant who is much older than her just because he broke her favourite lamp.
Samaira says she didn’t hit the man, it was Mona who shouted at him.
Mona tells Roshni to just admit she has a problem with Samaira staying in the house.
Roshni says the man has lived in the house for a long time and he can’t be lying.
Mona tells her it’s enough because she says she knows nothing of the sort happened today and when a servant’s voice is taken over hers, then she knows they have to leave the house because she can’t stand the insult.
DD tells Mona to calm down and not overreact.
Mona says DD should just throw them out like she did Resham and Kesar.
DD tells Roshni to apologise to Sam because she is older than her.
Roshni says sorry.
DD says everything is fine now.
Mona tells DD she wants to go and comfort her daughter.
They all leave the living room.
Roshni tells Sid she’s sorry she slapped Samaira but she wishes someone heard her own side of the story.
He hugs her and says he knows she was saying the truth.
Roshni says Mona didn’t believe her even though she knows how Samaira can be.
Sid says he knows Samaira is wrong but she should let it go because it’s family and things like that are bound to happen.
He tells her to go to her NGO as she is running late.
She smiles and he tells her to go to the children with the big smile on her face.
Roshni leaves and Sid tells himself that he knows exactly what she’s going through. He knows the truth about Rajveer and can’t tell anyone till he has evidence.
He decides to talk to his dad.
Sid is with his father in the car.
He tells him everything.
Raj says no wonder Rajveer wanted to see him in the office the other time .
He asks if Samaira couldn’t find anyone else to marry.
Sid says Rajveer met Samaira in America but he knows he Rajveer came to India only to get into DD’s books and win her trust and DD almost gave him power of attorney.
He says he has to find out what he did while he was in America.
Raj says if he worked in America, then he must have a social security number.
He will get someone to check it out.
Sid says he will find out about the burnt warehouse to see if he actually owned it or it was a lie.
Sid goes to the corporate affairs office to tell the manager that he wants to register a company.
He gives them the name of the company that Rajveer owns.
The man asks Sid for his name then says he won’t be able to register that company because there is already a company in that name.
Sid thanks him.
The manager calls Rajveer to tell him Sid came to find out about his company.
Rajveer decides he must do something before Sid rats him out to everyone.
At home, when everyone is gathered in the living room.
They all decide to make new year’s resolutions.
Rajveer enters and jacks Sid by his collar.
He asks Sid why he is asking questions about him when he can come straight to him.
He says he now thinks Mona was right about him when she said Sid doesn’t want all of them to live under the same roof.
Roshni asks Rajveer what’s going on.
Rajveer tells her that Sid was going to ask if his business is real or fake.
He starts shedding fake tears and tells Sid that he is forgetting that he put all his money into making this business.
Sid says he was there for something else.
Rajveer says the registrar called him and said Sid made enquiries about him. He tells Samaira that if he knew it would be like this, he wouldn’t have come to her family.
Mona tells him to take it easy.
Rajveer says the family never misses an opportunity to humiliate Mona, so it’s no surprise he won’t be spared but he can’t stay in the house anymore.
Sid tries to explain but Mona tells him not to say anything. She says Roshni falsely accused Samaira earlier and now he is doing this.
She warns that if they don’t stop bothering her daughter and son in law immediately, then she won’t spare them.
Grandmother tries to talk to Mona but she walks away.
Bablu tells Sid that he will talk to Mona later when she has calmed down.
DD returns home and sees everyone is not in a happy mood.
She asks what’s wrong.
Everyone walks out of the living room, leaving her with her mother.
