Arvind blesses Aparajita before she leaves. Shortly afterwards, Badi Maa and Ira arrive. Badi Maa asks Driver Raju what happened, and he explains that a girl saved Arvind after he fell into the river. Badi Maa then pushes Ira into the water. Ira is shocked and asks her why she did that.

Meanwhile, Sudha questions Vivaan about why he left Arvind alone. Rakshit arrives and says he will file a police complaint. Just then, Badi Maa brings Arvind back. Rakshit hugs him and asks how he got wet. Arvind explains that he fell into the river and someone rescued him.
Badi Maa claims that Ira saved Arvind and gives Raju a warning look. Raju goes along with her story, saying that Ira risked her life to save Arvind. Badi Maa adds that Ira did not care about her own safety because Arvind’s life was more important to her. Rakshit hugs Ira and thanks her for saving his father. Sudha also expresses her gratitude.
However, Arvind insists that Ira was not the person who saved him. Rakshit asks who rescued him instead. Arvind spots Aparajita and points towards her, making everyone turn around, but she is no longer there. He explains that the girl has already left. Badi Maa continues to insist that Ira saved him. Ira then asks Rakshit to take Arvind home because he is completely wet. Rakshit remembers how Arvind used to say that all their problems would be washed away. Arvind smiles after hearing this.
Later, Rakshit thanks Ira once again for saving his father. Ira tells him that this is why she wants him to marry her. However, Rakshit makes it clear that their friendship cannot turn into marriage. Despite his refusal, Ira continues asking him to marry her.
Meanwhile, Malti questions Aparajita about why she risked her life to save a stranger. Avinash complains that he will now be unable to return his friend’s car on time, but Malti tells him to stop complaining.
Elsewhere, Ira asks Rakshit to promise that she will be the most important girl in his life after his mother. Rakshit is about to make the promise when Avinash accidentally crashes his car into Rakshit’s vehicle. Aparajita suggests that they apologise for the accident. Malti worries that Rakshit might demand money for the damage because his car looks expensive. Aradhya says she does not want any problems before her wedding. Avinash quickly drives away, while Rakshit catches sight of Aparajita inside the car.
The following morning, Aparajita informs her family that breakfast is ready. She also announces her decision to stitch Maheshwari sarees so she can earn money. Avinash taunts her, saying that at this rate, Aradhya’s marriage will only happen after eight years. Malti tells Aparajita that she should do all these things in her in-laws’ house instead.
Aparajita then brings up the letter, but Malti tells her to burn it. Aparajita is shocked that Malti can still talk about sending her to her in-laws’ house after reading the letter. Malti argues that this situation would never have happened if Aparajita had not spoken up on Tilak Day.
Ramgopal finally intervenes and tells Malti to stop. He assures Aparajita that she can stay in his house for as long as she wants and that nobody can stop her from stitching sarees. Avinash insists that Aparajita’s plan will not work.
Ramgopal reminds him that at least Aparajita is making an effort, while Avinash does nothing but taunt her.
