Jhanak On Starlife Wednesday 19th August 2026 Update, Rishi’s family watches breaking news about his kidnapping. Tanushri tells Indumati about her nightmare, but Indumati says Rishi is fine and will return home safely. She asks Abhimanyu to switch off the TV. Payal says it has been three days and they still have not received any update. Sanjhbati asks everyone not to think negatively because she feels Rishi will return safely. Neelu blames Jhanak for everything, but Sanjhbati says this is not the time to criticize Jhanak. She says Jhanak is also trying to find Rishi. Just then, she answers Jhanak’s call and asks what happened.

Jhanak tells Sanjhbati that Viswajith has the kidnapper’s number, but he refused to give it to her. She says Viswajith is claiming that Aditi is Rishi’s wife, so she needs Sanjhbati’s help to get the kidnapper’s number. Sanjhbati promises to do whatever she can to help Jhanak. Jhanak asks her to come to Viswajith’s house. Sanjhbati tells Jhanak not to worry because she will win this fight before ending the call.
Parashar asks Jhanak what Sanjhbati said. Jhanak tells him that Sanjhbati will tell Viswajith that she is Rishi’s wife. She says she does not have a marriage certificate to prove the truth, but she vows to find Rishi at any cost. Parashar says they need the police’s help because they cannot do anything alone. Jhanak cries as she hugs Parashar, and he tells her that she is not alone.
Meanwhile, Indumati says Aditi and Aniruddh are trying their best, so Jhanak does not need to do anything. She asks Sanjhbati not to go. Abhimanyu also says Dritimaan has already left, so Sanjhbati should stay back. Sanjhbati refuses and says she will do what she wants. Tanushri warns that if Sanjhbati gives confidential information to Jhanak, she will mess everything up. Putul supports Sanjhbati and asks her to go and help Jhanak. She says Jhanak is Rishi’s wife, so she has every right to know about him. Sanjhbati says Jhanak must be waiting for her and leaves.
At Viswajith’s office, he informs Aditi that Rishi is still alive. Aniruddh says the kidnappers will not release Rishi until their demands are fulfilled. Sanjay says the police team is ready to rescue Rishi. Aditi worries about what will happen if Rishi gets hurt during the rescue. Viswajith says they have to take the risk.
Sanjhbati arrives with Jhanak and tells Viswajith that Jhanak is the daughter-in-law of her house. She asks Aniruddh to tell the truth. Aditi questions why Jhanak is not understanding the situation. Jhanak says Viswajith does not trust her, so this is the only way she can prove the truth. Sanjhbati tells Viswajith that Aditi and Rishi are divorced and that Rishi later married Jhanak.
Viswajith says he does not understand anything. Aditi asks him to give her the kidnapper’s number, but Sanjhbati says they need the number because Jhanak can use it to save Rishi. Viswajith mocks Jhanak, while she requests him to give her the number. He tells Aniruddh that he is confused. Jhanak warns that she will approach the media if she does not get the number. She also says Aditi is lying about being Rishi’s wife and asks Viswajith why he is not trusting her. She says he is doing wrong by supporting Aditi.
Viswajith threatens to throw Jhanak out. Sanjhbati says Jhanak only wants to save her husband and asks Aniruddh to say something. Aniruddh then tells Viswajith to give the kidnapper’s number to Jhanak because she is Rishi’s wife. Jhanak and Viswajith are shocked, while Aditi is hurt by his words. Viswajith asks why Aniruddh did not reveal this truth the previous day. Aniruddh says he was in a dilemma because both Jhanak and Aditi are his daughters. He adds that Jhanak has the right to get the kidnapper’s number.
Viswajith questions why Aditi lied to him. Aditi says Jhanak is only complicating the situation. Sanjhbati then shows Viswajith the marriage photos of Rishi and Jhanak. Aditi says she will not spare Jhanak if anything happens to Rishi. Jhanak asks why she would harm her own husband. She says she will find Rishi and bring him back safely.
At Viswajith’s request, Sanjay gives the kidnapper’s number to Jhanak. Jhanak takes the number and leaves.
Later, Sanjhbati returns home, and Putul asks her what happened. Sanjhbati reveals that Rishi is alive and is being held by the kidnappers. Everyone feels relieved after hearing this. She tells them everything that happened at Viswajith’s office and reveals that Jhanak went alone to save Rishi.
Neelu says Jhanak went there to erase the evidence and will create another drama to make herself look innocent. Tanushri says she is scared and asks what will happen if Jhanak kills Rishi. Sanjhbati questions why Jhanak would do that. Neelu claims that Jhanak wants revenge for what happened to her in the past, but Sanjhbati tells her to stop saying such things.
Aditi then arrives. Tanushri tells her that Jhanak wants to kill Rishi. Aditi says Rishi’s safety is her priority, but Jhanak is acting foolishly. Tanushri says she does not want to lose Rishi. Aditi says they may lose Rishi because of Jhanak’s stupidity and explains that she came to warn them because some members of the family still care about her.
