Jhanak On Starlife Tuesday 18th August 2026 Update, Jhanak continues her protest by sitting in front of Home Minister Viswajith’s house. Meanwhile, Aditi asks Aniruddh what the Home Minister said. Aniruddh tells her that they will get an update the next day. Aditi asks why he did not take her with him. Aniruddh says he is glad that she did not come and recalls how Jhanak was protesting. He tells Aditi that Viswajith was really busy, but he had already spoken to him.

Aditi asks whether Rishi is alive and whether Viswajith said anything about him. Arshi asks what right Aditi has to worry this much. Aniruddh tells Aditi that nothing happened. Aditi says she is ready to do anything to save Rishi and will meet Viswajith the next day. Aniruddh opposes her, but Aditi asks what he is hiding from her.
Aditi says it will be like death for her if anything happens to Rishi, so she will definitely meet Viswajith the next day. Aniruddh recalls how Viswajith agreed to meet Jhanak the next day.
The next day, Aniruddh and Aditi meet Viswajith. Aditi tells him that she wants to hear Rishi’s voice at least once. Viswajith says he already sent a team, and they found out that Rishi was in the Odisha jungle. However, the kidnappers had already escaped with Rishi. Aditi asks him to rescue Rishi at any cost.
Meanwhile, everyone asks Jhanak to eat something at least. Jhanak refuses, saying she cannot eat anything in this situation. Parashar says he must have done something wrong in his previous birth, which is why his daughter is suffering like this. Jhanak asks him not to think that way. She says God is testing her love. The security guard then allows Jhanak and Parashar inside.
Aditi is shocked when she sees Jhanak at Viswajith’s house. Viswajith asks Jhanak about her protest. Aditi thinks that many people do not know about her divorce, and if the truth comes out, it could ruin Rishi’s reputation. She hopes Jhanak does not reveal the truth.
Sanjay tells Aditi that they will inform her as soon as they get any updates. Aditi tells Viswajith that she is ready to plead with the kidnappers. Viswajith then asks Jhanak about her relationship with Rishi.
Jhanak says Rishi is precious to the country, and she wants to know what is happening in his case. She adds that the public also wants Rishi to be rescued safely. Aditi asks Viswajith to tell her if he gets any updates. Jhanak then says she is Rishi’s wife and has the right to know about his case.
Viswajith asks Jhanak whether she is mad. Jhanak asks why he is not answering her questions. Viswajith says Aditi is Rishi’s wife and calls Jhanak a fraud. He threatens to call the security guard. Jhanak asks him to ask Aditi if he does not trust her.
Viswajith asks Aniruddh whether he knows Jhanak. Aditi thinks she has to stop Jhanak for Rishi. Aniruddh admits that he knows Jhanak. Aditi says Jhanak was living in Rishi’s house and started idolizing Rishi, so his family threw her out of the house.
Jhanak is shocked by Aditi’s words and asks what she is saying. Aditi says she is saying all this for Rishi. Jhanak asks why Aditi is lying. She says she can bring proof, but she does not have time.
Viswajith warns Jhanak to stop. Jhanak says this is her fight, and she will fight it alone. Parashar asks why Jhanak would come there if she is not Rishi’s wife. He says Aniruddh knows the truth. Viswajith says he attended Rishi and Aditi’s wedding, but Parashar says a lot happened after that.
Jhanak tells Aniruddh that he claims to be her father, yet he is silent now. Aniruddh tells her that they can talk about it later. Jhanak says she knows Aniruddh is in a dilemma about which daughter to support. She says she has understood what her value is in Aniruddh’s life.
Jhanak then tells Viswajith that he will learn the truth soon. She leaves from there with Parashar.
On the other side, the kidnappers think Rishi is lying to distract them. Rakesh asks Rishi whether he has remembered his name. He also asks whether Rishi has fallen in love with anyone. Rishi shakes his head. Rakesh then asks him about Jhanak, and Rishi gets glimpses of the past.
Rishi says he did not love anyone and that he is a good guy. Rakesh tells him that Rishi’s fiancée is in his custody. Rishi requests them to leave his fiancée. Rakesh says she is just a hostage. Rishi says his fiancée will save him, but the kidnappers laugh at him.
Rishi says they do not know how powerful his fiancée’s father is. Rakesh asks how Jhanak can save Rishi when she is in his custody. Rishi asks who Jhanak is. Rakesh then asks who Rishi’s fiancée is.
Rishi replies that Aditi is his fiancée and that Aditi will come with her father, Aniruddh, to rescue him.
