Jhanak On Starlife Thursday 20th August 2026 Update, Jhanak tells Parashar that she will bring Rishi back safely and takes his blessings. Parashar asks her to leave clues along the way so they can find her and come to help if needed. Lakshmi gives Jhanak some bangles, but Jhanak admits that she is worried. She asks what will happen if she makes a mistake. Parashar tells her not to overthink because nothing bad will happen.

Jhanak says this is about Rishi’s life, and she does not know how he is doing now. She feels that she will not be able to live with herself if she fails to save him. She starts crying, but Parashar asks her not to cry and to fight instead. Jhanak says she has the kidnapper leader’s number, but she cannot call him because the kidnappers may be watching her. Lakshmi offers to go with her, but Jhanak says this is her fight and she has to face it alone.
Lakshmi gives Jhanak some fruits and biscuits, but Jhanak says she cannot eat while Rishi is in danger. Parashar asks her to eat something for his sake. Jhanak promises that she will not break his trust and will succeed in her fight. She asks them not to worry about her or call her because the kidnappers should not find out that she has a photo. She says she will contact them if she needs to. Parashar tells her to contact him whenever she needs his help. Jhanak nods and leaves.
Meanwhile, the kidnappers inform Rakesh that the police have arrested one of their teammates. Rakesh says the police could reach them at any time, so they should make Rishi unconscious and change their hideout. Rishi refuses to go anywhere. Rakesh then makes him unconscious.
Soon, the police arrive at the location. Rakesh panics when he hears the police jeep’s siren and escapes with Rishi. The police search the place for Rishi and the kidnappers.
At Rishi’s house, Payal tells Aditi that she understands her. Putul asks why everyone is against Jhanak. Neelu says Putul always insulted Aditi because of Jhanak. Putul reminds her that Aditi is the ex-daughter-in-law of the house and questions why Neelu is scolding her in front of Aditi.
Aditi asks whether Putul really wants to save Rishi or if she only wants to defame her. Tanushri asks Aditi what happened at Viswajith’s house. Aditi says Sanjhbati must have already told them everything. She says all she wants is for Rishi to return home safely.
Putul asks Aditi what she wants in return. Aditi thinks about how she has realized that she does not love Koushik and still loves Rishi. She wants to reunite with Rishi and return to the house. Abhimanyu notices that Aditi is sad, saying it is clearly visible on her face.
Tanushri tells Aditi that the house will welcome her anytime. Putul reminds her that Aditi and Rishi are already divorced. Sanjhbati says she does not want to insult Aditi, but asks whether Aditi can search for Rishi the way Jhanak is doing. She reminds Aditi that she did not search for Rishi the last time either.
Putul says Aditi believed that Jhanak and Rishi were enjoying themselves. Aditi says Rishi already told them that he loves Jhanak. Sanjhbati agrees but says Rishi is not an irresponsible person. Tanushri says she saw how Jhanak behaved with Rishi, while Payal calls Jhanak shameless.
Sanjhbati says she knows Aditi still loves Rishi, but Jhanak is legally Rishi’s wife. She also says Aditi always doubted Rishi and never trusted him. Aditi argues that what Jhanak is doing now is not safe for Rishi. Tanushri says Jhanak may kill Rishi and adds that Aditi is still fighting for Rishi even though he betrayed her.
Aditi says she came to tell them that she will always help them. She admits that she made a mistake by accepting the divorce and should have fought for her love. She says she wants to reunite with Rishi if that is still possible. Tanushri is happy to hear this.
In the forest, one of the kidnappers says they need someone to cook food for Rishi and them. He warns that Rishi could die if he does not eat anything. Rakesh asks Rishi if he does not want to go home and tells him to eat something to stay alive. Rakesh is angry because the police are chasing them and Ankush has still not been released. He beats Rishi up.
The kidnapper tells Rakesh that Rishi may die because he has not eaten anything. Rakesh then orders them to hire someone to cook.
Jhanak enters the forest and says she knows God is with her. She asks God to help her reach Rishi. Suddenly, she hears the kidnappers’ footsteps. She pretends to be lost and lets them hear her voice. Jhanak asks them to help her get out of the forest, explaining that she came there for work but ended up lost.
Elsewhere, Arshi asks Aniruddh where Aditi is. Aniruddh says Aditi went to Rishi’s house. Arshi asks why Aditi is doing this, and Aniruddh says Aditi did not listen to him. He asks Arshi to call her. Arshi goes inside to call Aditi.
COMING UP
