Padma asks Anjali what she is thinking about. Anjali tells her that she cannot understand why someone is so interested in an old case like Aman’s murder. Padma replies that Anjali is incredibly smart, so there is nothing beyond her understanding. Anjali says she cannot understand why Ramesh is interested in the case or why she keeps receiving calls from the USA every day.

Anjali receives a photo and wonders why someone has sent it to her. Padma asks what photo she is talking about. Anjali explains that it is the ancestral necklace of the Rajput family, which Gaurav gifted to her. She adds that Aman was also present when she received it.
Anjali then receives a call and answers it. She asks the mysterious woman where she got the photo. The woman reveals that she got it from Aman’s phone. Anjali questions how this is possible, as Aman died 20 years ago, and asks how the woman could have his phone. The mysterious woman tells Anjali not to get emotional, claims that she is her well-wisher, and then ends the call.
Anjali becomes emotional and complains to Padma, wondering why someone is trying to remind her of Aman.
Pankaj later calls Anjali and asks her to come to his office the following day because someone wants to meet her. Anjali agrees, and she later goes to Pankaj’s office with Ved and Padma. She asks Pankaj who has come to meet her, and Ramesh walks in.
Ramesh and Anjali share a warm and emotional reunion. Ramesh considers himself a father figure to Anjali, and she feels the same way about him. Pankaj asks Ramesh to get to the point, and he agrees.
Ramesh questions Anjali about Aman’s case and asks what happened on the day of the accident. Anjali explains that they were on their way to the hospital, wondering whether they would have a baby boy or girl. Suddenly, an accident occurred, and Aman died. She says she has been in shock for 21 years.
Ramesh asks Anjali if she saw Aman’s dead body, and she says no. He then asks who identified the body. Anjali replies that several people did, including Yuvraj, Kavya, Chandraman, Bhajan, and Raghav, although she cannot remember who else was there.
Ramesh says he knows everyone who identified the body. Ved asks him what he is trying to say, but Ramesh tells him to be patient.
Ramesh explains that Anjali was injured in the accident and that three people died. Their bodies were badly burned and could not be identified. He adds that another body was taken along with Anjali. Anjali argues that it was not just a body but Aman. However, Ramesh clarifies that although three bodies were unrecognisable, there was a fourth person whose face could still be identified. That person had been taken to the hospital for treatment.
