At the hospital, Ayushman asks the nurse to shift Jhanak to the emergency ward. Drishti asks whether Jhanak is having a miscarriage, and Jhanak begins to cry when she hears this. Ayushman insists that they must act quickly. Meanwhile, Sanjhbati asks Aniruddh not to worry, but he tells her that Jhanak is the only person who matters to him.
Aditi calls Aniruddh and questions him about why he has not returned home for two days. He explains that he is at the hospital because Jhanak is unwell. Aditi asks what happened to Jhanak, but Aniruddh questions why she is concerned about her. Aditi says Jhanak has Rishi and everything because of her, but Aniruddh replies that Jhanak could lose everything because of Aditi. Aditi says she is thinking of visiting Jhanak, but Aniruddh refuses to let her come to the hospital. He adds that Jhanak also does not want her there before disconnecting the call.
Meanwhile, Indumati tells Rishi that Jhanak is in a critical condition. She insists that Jhanak is not the kind of woman he has accused her of being and reminds him of how badly he insulted her. Abhimanyu also scolds Rishi, while Dadabhai questions whether he feels any remorse for suspecting Jhanak. Rishi brings up his hill accident, prompting Abhimanyu to ask why he is mentioning it now. When Indumati asks what he means, Rishi reveals that he cannot become a father because of the injuries he sustained in that accident. Everyone is shocked by his revelation. Rishi explains that he never told Jhanak about his condition and asks his family to understand why he believes she betrayed him.
Indumati says she never imagined Jhanak could do something like this, while Rishi admits that he is equally heartbroken. He insists that he has no choice but to divorce Jhanak because he cannot accept another man’s child. He says she has broken his trust, and Abhimanyu hugs him while apologising for his pain. Dadabhai, however, says he trusts Rishi but cannot bring himself to suspect Jhanak. Rishi feels that they will never understand his position, but Indumati assures him that they understand how much he is suffering. Rishi then announces that he will definitely go to the hospital, and they leave together.
At the hospital, the doctor reveals that Jhanak has a tumour, not a pregnancy. She assures everyone that Jhanak is not in a critical condition but explains that surgery is necessary. She asks Drishti to make the necessary arrangements. When Jhanak regains consciousness, she immediately asks whether her child is fine. Ayushman gently informs her that she is not pregnant and explains that she has a tumour in her stomach.
Ayushman then informs Aniruddh about Jhanak’s condition, explaining that she has a tumour and is not pregnant. Aniruddh asks whether she will recover, and Ayushman assures him that he will do his best. Aditi arrives at the hospital, and Aniruddh tells her about Jhanak’s tumour. Dadabhai asks Aniruddh what has happened to Jhanak, but Aniruddh says they should not have come because they do not know the full story. Abhimanyu points out that Aniruddh does not know the complete truth either. Ayushman then explains that Jhanak is not pregnant but has a tumour in her stomach and needs surgery. Dadabhai warns Aniruddh that he cannot reveal Rishi’s medical condition in front of everyone. Ayushman wonders whether there is another story behind the accusations, while Aditi asks him not to insult Rishi. Abhimanyu explains that Rishi cannot become a father because of his previous injury, which is why he suspected Jhanak of betraying him. Ayushman says Rishi should have trusted his wife instead of accusing her without proof, adding that he has no sympathy for him. Aniruddh agrees with Ayushman.
Rishi admits that he was the wrong choice for Jhanak and requests Aniruddh to allow him to stay at the hospital until her surgery is completed. Ayushman explains that Aniruddh must sign the consent form, but Abhimanyu argues that Rishi should sign it because Jhanak is his wife. Aniruddh points out that Rishi never valued their marriage. Rishi says he has no objection if Aniruddh signs the form, as he only wants to remain at the hospital. Tanushri supports Rishi, reminding everyone that he has the right to stay with his wife. Aniruddh and Ayushman then go inside.
Aditi accuses Aniruddh of behaving this way because he is staying with Jhanak, but Rishi tells her to stop. He says Jhanak is suffering because of Aditi and warns her not to make negative comments about her. Aditi reminds him that he was the one who came to speak to her about Jhanak. Rishi responds that he is married to Jhanak and Aditi should not interfere in his personal matters.
Later, Indumati says both Rishi and Aditi are equally responsible for the situation. Dadabhai points out that Rishi needs Jhanak more than she needs him and says Rishi must understand this. Abhimanyu remarks that Rishi claims to love Jhanak so much, yet he failed to trust her. Tanushri asks them not to discuss the matter in front of Rishi when he returns home, reminding them that he is also suffering.
When Rishi returns, Dadabhai asks about Jhanak’s condition. Rishi explains that he did not get to meet her but has learned that she is out of danger. Abhimanyu asks what he plans to do next, and Rishi says everything depends on Jhanak’s decision. He promises not to force her into anything because he knows how badly he insulted her. Dadabhai asks what Rishi truly wants, and Indumati says he obviously wants Jhanak back in his life.
Dadabhai points out that Aniruddh treated them harshly because of Rishi’s actions. Rishi apologises to his family and blames himself for Aniruddh’s behaviour. He offers to stay in the police quarters if his family has a problem with him, but Sanjhbati assures him that nobody has asked him to leave the house. Dritimaan reminds Rishi that he accused Jhanak without verifying the facts. Tanushri advises him to stay away from Aditi and allow her to settle down in her own life. Indumati also insists that Aditi must not interfere in their family matters. Rishi assures them that they need not worry because he will no longer remain in contact with Aditi. Abhimanyu warns him not to repeat his mistake.
Rishi admits that Jhanak is extremely angry with him and says she has every right to feel that way. He doubts that she will ever return to their home, explaining that he has realised he is a bad person who does not deserve to live with her. He asks his family not to pressure Jhanak into returning. Dritimaan tells Rishi that he must prove he genuinely wants Jhanak in his life, but Rishi believes he deserves to be punished for his mistakes and promises to accept whatever punishment Jhanak gives him.
