Dadabhai tells Rishi that he is important to Jhanak and should make an effort to win back her trust. Rishi assures him that he will try his best, but he refuses to eat. Abhimanyu asks Rishi not to be sad, assuring him that they will try to convince Jhanak if she refuses to accept him. Sanjhbati reminds Rishi that he insulted Jhanak badly and warns him not to repeat the same mistake. Dritimaan offers to accompany Rishi to the hospital, but Rishi says Jhanak hates him now. Sanjhbati advises him to learn to trust Jhanak if he wants to have a peaceful and happy life.

The next day, Ayushman informs Aniruddh that Jhanak’s surgery was successful. Rishi asks for Jhanak’s room number, but Ayushman tells him that he is not allowed to meet her. Aniruddh insists that he will be the only one to meet Jhanak. Rishi says he will stay away if Jhanak does not want to see him. Aditi questions why Aniruddh is treating Rishi so harshly, but Aniruddh tells her to be quiet. He asks why she has come to the hospital when she does not genuinely care about Jhanak. He accuses Aditi of wanting to watch Jhanak reject Rishi and using the situation to reunite with him. Aditi says Aniruddh is insulting her, but Ayushman takes Aniruddh inside before the argument can continue.
Aditi tells Rishi that Aniruddh has changed, but Rishi asks her to stop interfering in his life. Aditi insists that she is fighting for him, but Rishi tells her not to do so. He points out that she failed to verify Drishti’s information before telling him about it, making her partly responsible for what happened. He adds that there is a reason they are no longer together. Aditi warns him that Jhanak will also insult him, but Rishi says he deserves it. He then tells Aditi that they should stay out of each other’s lives, although she asks him to listen to her one more time.
Rishi tells Aditi not to complicate matters further. He explains that he will clear up the misunderstandings with Jhanak himself and does not need a third person interfering in their relationship. He makes it clear that everything between them is over and says they cannot even remain friends. He asks Aditi to give him his freedom, leaving her shocked. Rishi advises her to move on and get married because his heart belongs to Jhanak. Aditi accuses him of treating her badly, but Rishi replies that he has simply made her understand where she stands in his life.
Aniruddh visits Jhanak and tells her that she looks weak. Rishi arrives and apologises to her, admitting that he has realised his mistake. Aniruddh tells Jhanak to rest and not listen to Rishi, but Rishi says he will return to speak with her again. He acknowledges that she needs to rest and leaves the room. Jhanak breaks down in tears after he leaves.
The following day, Aniruddh informs Jhanak that she will be discharged from the hospital. Dadabhai arrives with Rishi and admits that Rishi was wrong. He assures Jhanak that he will not force her to make any decision. Ayushman warns that the meeting could worsen Jhanak’s condition, but Rishi tells him not to interfere in their personal matters. Jhanak assures Ayushman that she is capable of talking, although he advises her to wait another two days. Rishi insists that he needs to speak with Jhanak and says he is willing to wait until her discharge. He then asks whether she wants him to leave.
Dadabhai asks Rishi to remain calm and tells Jhanak how much the family misses her. Aniruddh questions why Jhanak should return to Rishi after all the insults she endured. Dadabhai acknowledges that Aniruddh has been supporting Jhanak, but reminds him that she is also Rishi’s wife. He explains that Rishi regrets his actions and insists that the decision to forgive him or divorce him belongs entirely to Jhanak. Nobody else should interfere. Jhanak says she has nothing left to discuss, but Rishi insists that he wants to talk to her. When Jhanak asks what he wants to say, Rishi requests to speak with her privately. Aniruddh reminds everyone that Rishi insulted Jhanak in front of others, but Jhanak tells her father that Rishi is right to ask for a private conversation. Dadabhai asks Aniruddh to allow the husband and wife to talk alone, and everyone leaves.
Rishi tells Jhanak that he paid all the hospital bills because she is still his wife. Jhanak asks what else he wants to say, and Rishi admits that he was wrong to insult her without finding out the truth first. He promises not to force her into anything and says she is free to forgive him or divorce him. Jhanak remarks that he does not look well, but Rishi assures her that he is eating and sleeping properly. He blames himself for her condition, although Jhanak says there is no point in discussing what has already happened.
Rishi admits that he wants to take Jhanak home with him but understands that she does not want to return. Jhanak agrees that he is right. Rishi asks whether she is unwilling to give him another chance, and Jhanak reminds him that they already had a chance, but he chose to stay with Aditi. Rishi explains that he has cut all ties with Aditi and feels guilty about the way he treated Jhanak. However, Jhanak tells him that he should learn to live alone.
Aniruddh enters and scolds Rishi for paying Jhanak’s hospital bills. Rishi explains that he has simply fulfilled his responsibility as her husband. He adds that he has spoken to Jhanak and will accept whatever decision she makes. Ayushman then informs them that he has issued the discharge certificate. Aniruddh tells Jhanak that they should leave, while Dadabhai asks when he will see her again. Jhanak assures him that they will meet soon, and Ayushman advises her to get enough rest.
As they prepare to leave, Jhanak asks Rishi to carry her bag. Aniruddh offers to carry it himself, but Jhanak tells her father that she is going with Rishi, so he should let Rishi take the bag. She assures Aniruddh that she will visit him again. Jhanak explains that Rishi has admitted his mistake and everyone has already scolded him, which is enough for now. She says she cannot end their relationship simply by signing a piece of paper and requests her father not to be angry. Dadabhai reminds Aniruddh that the couple is mature enough to make their own decisions. Rishi then helps Jhanak as they leave the hospital together.
Meanwhile, Aditi thanks Koushik for visiting her and tells him that he deserves someone better than her. Koushik agrees, accusing Aditi of using him and acting selfishly. Aditi admits that she made mistakes because she was confused and says she has recently realised something important. When Koushik asks what she means, Aditi asks whether they can reconsider their marriage. Koushik thinks she must be joking, but Aditi assures him that she is serious, which is why she has brought up the subject.
Back at Rishi’s house, the family is delighted to see Jhanak. Rishi tells them that Jhanak is hungry, and Dritimaan explains that Rishi went to the market to buy fresh vegetables for her. Jhanak is surprised and asks how that could be possible, but Dadabhai confirms that Rishi really did it. Jhanak admits that she is both hungry and tired. Indumati offers to bring her some food, while Jhanak asks about Putul. Sanjhbati assures her that Putul will come to see her.
Jhanak suggests that everyone eat together because Rishi probably has not eaten anything either. Tanushri confirms that Rishi has not eaten since the previous day. Jhanak scolds him for neglecting his meals, and the family heads to the dining table together.
Meanwhile, Koushik tells Aditi that she has come back to him because she has run out of other options. He says he will discuss the matter with his parents but warns her that if he agrees to reconsider their marriage, there will be certain terms and conditions she must accept.
