Nidhi calls Aarohi and asks her to come to the Luthra house. Meanwhile, in jail, Anshuman tells Shaurya that he gave Karan a chance to get him out of the lockup, but Karan refused his offer. He says that Karan has no right to live. Shaurya pushes Anshuman and scolds him. Anshuman tells the constables that Shaurya is threatening him, but Shaurya warns him not to say anything against Karan. He says Anshuman cannot provoke him against Karan because he has received everything from his family and will never turn against them. The constables hold Shaurya back.

Anshuman then asks Shaurya about Karan and Preeta’s relationship. He says that Karan supported Preeta the previous night and teasingly describes Karan as a flirt. Shaurya asks whether Anshuman is going to give Karan a character certificate. He taunts Anshuman for lying about Karan and warns him not to cross his limits. Anshuman tells Shaurya to ask Karan about his relationship with Preeta. Shaurya grabs Anshuman by the collar and threatens to kill him. Anshuman says he is sure Nidhi knows about Karan and Preeta’s relationship.
Meanwhile, Preeta asks Karan to drive slowly. Karan angrily hits the steering wheel, causing Preeta to have glimpses of her past. She tells him about them, and Karan apologises for speaking angrily. He promises to control his anger. Preeta asks him to focus on finding a solution. She answers Rajveer’s call and learns that he has an idea to get Shaurya out of the lockup. Rajveer tells her that he will come to the Luthra house.
Outside the police station, Palki asks Shanaya why she is in a bad mood. Shanaya says that she has always supported Shaurya, but he taunted her today. She reveals that she tolerates Nidhi’s bad behaviour for Shaurya’s sake, but Shaurya does not care about her feelings.
At the Luthra house, Nidhi packs her luggage. Aarohi tells her that leaving is not the right decision, but Nidhi says Aarohi does not understand how the Luthras are treating her. Kareena arrives and tells Nidhi that nobody will care if she leaves. Nidhi says she has no value in the house and that even Kareena failed to support her. Kareena scolds her for making such a foolish decision. She explains that the Luthras will consider Nidhi selfish for leaving without caring about Shaurya. She also warns that Preeta will benefit if Nidhi leaves the house. Kareena asks her to think carefully before making a decision.
Aarohi agrees with Kareena, while Nidhi says she does not know what to do. Kareena advises her not to fight Preeta directly. She explains that Nidhi is becoming insecure and should use Kavya and Shaurya’s names against Preeta. She asks Nidhi to follow her advice so she can gain an advantage.
Karan and Preeta return home, and Kritika asks what the lawyer said. Preeta explains that the lawyer cannot do anything without evidence. Karan says Rajveer is on his way and that only he can get Shaurya out of the lockup. Rakhi compares the situation to one brother helping another, and Karan agrees with her. When Rajveer arrives, Karan asks him what plan he has to defeat Anshuman.
Meanwhile, Palki gets permission to meet Shaurya. He asks why she was so desperate to see him. Palki tells him that Shanaya loves him so much and asks him not to break her heart. Shaurya tells her that she needs to learn some manners, and they get into an argument. He asks her not to visit him again because he will not speak to her. Palki warns him not to play with Shanaya’s feelings and leaves.
Elsewhere, Rajveer tells the Luthras that Anshuman has trapped Shaurya, so they must prove his innocence. Karan explains that the lawyer said there is strong evidence against Shaurya. Mahesh points out that Anshuman is their business rival and has always tried to snatch their deals. However, this time, he has targeted Shaurya to hurt the family emotionally. Rakhi says she does not understand why Anshuman is doing all this, and Mahesh explains that since Anshuman could not defeat them in business, he has decided to target their family.
Kritika says they need to find out who is supporting Anshuman because it is important to know their enemies. Nidhi advises them not to attack Anshuman directly. She suggests that they should plan and plot against him just as he has done to them. Dadi agrees with her. Nidhi then suggests finding Anshuman’s weakness. Rajveer says they are not giving useful suggestions and that he will handle Anshuman himself. Dadi tells him to do whatever he needs to do to get Shaurya out of the lockup. She then asks Preeta to make tea for her, and Preeta goes inside.
Palki and Shanaya arrive, and Kavya tells them that she has been waiting for them. Nidhi also goes inside, and Palki follows her. She stops Nidhi and asks why she dislikes Shanaya. Palki says there must be a reason for Nidhi’s anger and that she wants to understand it. Nidhi badmouths Shanaya and says she does not have time for such discussions. Palki points out that Nidhi would have insulted Shanaya just as she insulted her. She adds that although she does not have money, she has self-respect.
Nidhi scolds Palki, but Palki asks her not to disrespect Shanaya. Nidhi says she will decide how to react to other people. Palki explains that respect is important in every relationship and that nobody becomes smaller by apologising for a mistake.
Rajveer then shares his idea with the family. He suggests filing a case against Anshuman and making sure he comes to them to request that they withdraw it. They can then demand that Anshuman withdraw the case he filed against Shaurya. Dadi asks what complaint they can make against him. Preeta explains that Rajveer was shot because of Anshuman. She reveals that Anshuman’s goons also tried to kill Rajveer and Karan in the hospital, so they can file an attempted murder case against him. Rakhi agrees with Preeta’s suggestion, and Rajveer praises Preeta for coming up with a good idea. He says he will collect all the evidence against Anshuman. Palki offers to accompany him, while Shanaya also decides to go with them.
Karan tells Preeta that they should go to the police station. He says he will file a case against Anshuman for attacking him and asks Preeta to file another case against Anshuman for attacking Rajveer. Kritika agrees that it is a perfect plan.
As they prepare to leave, Palki walks quickly to keep up with Rajveer. He tells her that he cannot bear it if she gets hurt while walking like that. He holds her hand and takes her to the car. Kavya and Shanaya witness the moment, and Kavya says Rajveer and Palki are made for each other. Shanaya agrees with her, and they also get into the car.
Meanwhile, Karan asks Preeta how she manages to remain brave even in difficult situations. He says she has many different sides and is very protective of her children. Preeta agrees and explains that she becomes overprotective whenever Shaurya and Rajveer are in danger. She adds that a different side of her comes out whenever her children are threatened. Karan praises her as a great mother and asks what she wishes for. Preeta says she wants her family to stay together happily. Karan silently decides to fulfil her wish.
At the hospital, Rajveer asks the receptionist to show him the CCTV footage from his room. She refuses, explaining that hospital rules do not allow her to show it to him. Rajveer says he needs the footage to save Shaurya. Palki asks the receptionist to help them speak to the higher authorities, explaining that she also works at the hospital. She manages to get permission to view the footage, and she and Rajveer head to the monitoring room.
Meanwhile, Kavya spots Varun and wonders what he is doing there. Shanaya moves aside to answer a phone call and wonders where everyone has gone. In the monitoring room, Palki and Rajveer watch the CCTV footage. Rajveer spots Detective Pradeep and tells Palki that Pradeep is working for Anshuman. He decides to confront him.
Elsewhere, Aarohi asks Nidhi to calm down, but Nidhi keeps saying that she does not know what to do. Kareena tells her that anger will not help her think clearly. She asks Nidhi to come up with a plan to get Shaurya out of the lockup. Nidhi worries that Preeta and Rajveer will receive all the credit if Shaurya is released because of their efforts. Kareena says she has a strange feeling and leaves.
Meanwhile, Kavya follows Varun and calls him. Varun tells her that he is busy at the office before disconnecting the call. Kavya wonders why he lied to her.
