Rohan drives Abhimanyu towards his destination, but Abhimanyu keeps staring at him. Rohan notices and asks why he is staring. Abhimanyu jokes that he has never seen a multi-coloured monkey before, which is why he cannot stop looking at him. He then asks Rohan about his matter, and Rohan replies that he is sitting right beside him. He asks Abhimanyu to relax and enjoy the ride. Abhimanyu reminds Rohan that he taught him many important things, but now he is asking him to vibe with him.

Soon, they get stuck on the road, and Rohan learns that a landslide has blocked the route to Shimla. He suggests returning, but Abhimanyu refuses. Rohan then suggests that they visit Kasauli instead of Shimla, and Abhimanyu agrees.
Meanwhile, Abhinav tries to console Akshara, who regrets shouting at him. He asks her what is bothering her, and Akshara explains that she refused to go to Shimla because she does not want to face her past. However, she believes that her past cannot destroy her present. Abhinav asks if there was someone’s name on the list, and Akshara looks at him. He understands what she is trying to hide and assures her that she has nothing to worry about. He promises to make Abhir understand by bringing him momos. Akshara asks him not to sing the momos song while bringing them, and Abhinav manages to cheer her up.
Later, Akshara asks Abhinav what he wanted to tell her. Just as Abhinav is about to propose to her, he receives a call from Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu informs him that Rohan has to leave because of an emergency and asks Abhinav to help him because he needs someone to drive him. Abhinav refuses, explaining that Abhir has a fancy dress competition at school and needs him there. Abhimanyu tells him to attend his son’s function because he will manage on his own. Abhinav feels bad that he cannot help Abhimanyu.
Soon, Akshara receives a message from Abhir’s school. Abhinav asks her to pray that Abhimanyu reaches his destination safely. Without realising it, Akshara prays for Abhimanyu.
Meanwhile, Ruhi asks Abhimanyu to return before he makes any new friends. She reminds him that he is only her father. Elsewhere, Abhir meets Abhimanyu, who becomes impressed with him. Ruhi later plays with Mahima’s stethoscope, making Mahima angry. Mahima says Ruhi will soon learn why some people receive more attention and pampering than others. Ruhi gets upset with her, while Manjiri confronts Mahima for hurting her. Mahima insists that the truth is always bitter, and Manjiri ends up agreeing with her.
At home, Akshara gets Abhir ready for his fancy dress competition, but Abhir refuses to dress up as an astronaut. Akshara gets hurt, and Abhir immediately becomes worried about her. He gives her first aid, but Akshara tells him not to worry. Abhir then decides that he wants to dress up as a doctor instead.
Meanwhile, Abhimanyu notices Abhir’s picture inside Abhinav’s car. Abhinav tells him that Abhir is his entire life. He then asks Abhimanyu whether he has a child. Abhimanyu talks about Ruhi and shows him her picture. Abhinav also talks about Abhir, while Abhimanyu explains that Ruhi loves dancing. Abhinav praises Akshara and then decides to get the ticket.
Soon, Abhinav receives a call from Abhir and struggles to find a network connection. Abhimanyu hears Abhir’s voice through the car speakers. Without knowing who is listening, Abhir tells Abhinav that he wants him to bring an injection because he has decided to become a doctor. Abhimanyu is about to respond when Abhinav returns to the car. Abhir asks his father why he was not replying, and Abhinav apologises. Abhir repeats his demand for an injection. Abhimanyu becomes restless after hearing his voice. Abhinav then asks Abhir to call Akshara, but Abhimanyu cannot hear her properly.
Abhimanyu disconnects the car speaker, while Abhinav speaks to Akshara. She questions why he keeps fulfilling all of Abhir’s demands and explains that Abhir has become very stubborn about becoming a doctor. She also asks him to bring the injection. Abhinav decides to drop Abhimanyu at his destination first, but Abhimanyu insists that he should attend Abhir’s school function. Abhinav appreciates his concern and then asks him to come along to the function.
Later, Abhinav looks for an injection, and Abhimanyu helps him find one. Abhinav asks Abhimanyu to give the injection to Abhir because Abhir is afraid of injections and usually stays away from doctors. Abhimanyu reminds him that he is also a doctor. Abhinav explains that whenever Abhir used to receive an injection, he would cry a lot. Abhimanyu then decides to give him the injection himself.
Meanwhile, Akshara becomes emotional when she sees Abhir dressed as a doctor. Abhir keeps waiting for Abhinav, but Akshara assures him that his father will arrive soon. Abhimanyu and Abhinav eventually reach the school. Akshara decides to check on Abhinav, who brings the injection with him. At the same time, Abhimanyu speaks to Ruhi over a video call and misses the opportunity to meet Abhir.
Abhinav becomes emotional when he sees Abhir dressed as a doctor. He encourages him to become a doctor when he grows up. Abhinav says that he is only a driver, but his son will become a doctor. Akshara reminds him that no job is big or small, whether it is driving or making jam.
Meanwhile, Abhimanyu fails to meet Abhir and continues speaking to Ruhi. Abhir performs on stage, while Abhinav tells Akshara that it seems Abhir’s entire family consists of doctors. Akshara thinks about how she has left her past behind and will never allow anyone to come between her and her present.
During his performance, Abhir promotes Akshara’s jam on stage. Abhinav excitedly joins him, and the two share a happy moment. Akshara later asks Abhinav to drop his passenger and thanks him on Abhir’s behalf. Meanwhile, Abhimanyu narrowly misses meeting Abhir and Akshara.
