Dharamraj celebrates his victory as he passes through the basti, while Anjali watches him from the window. Meanwhile, Ved asks Anjali if she had run away, but she remains silent. He tells her that he knows why she ran away and brings Ganesh to her. Ved explains that Dharamraj has returned Ganesh to them and assures her that there is no bomb under the wheelchair. He then tells Anjali that she has lost the mind game, but she refuses to respond.

Later, Anjali gets ready to go to court when Padma informs her that there is no ration left in the house and that they also need to buy Ganesh’s medicines. Anjali says she will find a way to manage everything. Ved arrives and offers to buy Ganesh’s medicines and groceries for the house, but Anjali refuses his help, saying she is not that helpless. Padma asks her to let Ved help them because they need it for now.
Ved then asks Anjali if she still thinks he is not part of the family. Anjali replies that he is part of the family and reminds him that he and Aarti are the only family she has. She asks Ved to take care of Aarti, saying that is all she needs from him, and then leaves.
At the court, the other lawyers mock Anjali for losing the elections. They remind her that she had confidently claimed she would defeat Dharamraj, but she has now lost to him. Anjali later sits with a typewriter in front of her when a client approaches and asks her to draft a document. She agrees to do the work for Rs 300, and the client leaves.
Soon, Yuvraj and Bhajan approach Anjali and taunt her for losing the elections despite her big claims. Bhajan says she lost with just one move and mocks her, suggesting that she join Dharamraj’s company. Yuvraj then tries to flirt with Anjali, but she slaps him and orders him to leave. Enraged by her response, Yuvraj vows to take revenge and leaves with Bhajan.
