Aparajita Sharma is a strong but wounded woman. Depending on the version, she is shown as a sensitive artist and a simple saree weaver trying to live with dignity. She has just walked out of a toxic, abusive marriage to Lalit Shrimali. As a divorcee, society judges her every day and the trauma of that marriage still haunts her.
On the other side is Rakshit Bharadwaj, a calm, serious, reserved businessman. He doesn’t trust easily, hides his emotions, and has closed his heart to love after his own past heartbreak with his ex-fiancée Ira.
