Sherlin was on a phone call with Prithvi. She asks what he has to say. Prithvi says Preeta has turned even more attractive. Sherlin was irked and tells him to get lost, she will kill him. She cuts the call and was annoyed that he still finds Preeta attractive. There, Prithvi curses himself for speaking insensibly to Sherlin who loves him so much.

He decides to call her and cool her temper. Prithvi calls her, but she decides not to. Prithvi thinks he said nothing wrong, today Preeta was more attractive today. He is only furious that Preeta selected Karan over him. He decides to write his own fate now and change not only his but everyone’s fate.
In Luthra house, Shrishti and Sameer walk across the corridor. Shrishti stops him at one spot. Shrishti shouts, ‘ouch!’. Maira follows them in the corridor. They hurry into a room. She follows them into the room. Preeta calls from behind, she is here. She throws a glass of drink over Maira saying Cheers!
Sherlin wonders what she must do. That Prithvi is never tired of praising Preeta, though she rejected his marriage proposal. She has to do something. Prithvi used to play with everyone, now he plays with her as well.
Preeta asks Maira she must be thinking how Preeta was saved, even because of her fool proof planning. Maira questions how dare she threw this? Preeta questions how dare Maira… how dare Maira hurt her and got her kidnapped. Should she go out and tell everyone about her true face. Maira tells her to go, as no one will trust Preeta in this house. No one ever believed her. She already told everyone that Preeta has fled, then she wore her dress and saved their grace. Who will tell everyone now? Sameer comes out saying he will. He heard Maira’s confession. Preeta clarifies Maira that whatever she did was a reason of insult for her family. She has heard Maira served drinks to guests from under the veil. Shrishti tells Preeta to do what they have to. Preeta turns to leave, as she has better things to do. Maira follows Preeta outside. Sameer and Shrishti hurry behind. Maira slips in the corridor as she runs behind Preeta. Shrishti and Sameer break into a loud laughter. They were excited to see Preeta grace Maira with her well deserved respect.
Preeta reaches the hall. Karan approached from the opposite direction. Both did not pay attention and collide. Preeta was about to slip when Karan holds her in his arms, her saree covering her face. The moment was prolonged as Karan recalls everytime he had been close to Preeta in the past. Karan was shocked and says, Preeta?. Preeta straightens up and says with a smile, its Preeta Karan Luthra. Karan asks where she was. Preeta looks into his eyes mischievously, shies a bit and walks away. She thinks silently why he hides his happiness, she knows he is extremely happy to see her here, anyways thank you.
Maira had come to make sure Preeta does not meet anyone. She was distressed to see Preeta and Karan in an eye lock already. Preeta grabs the mic, but it does not work. She takes the attention of RJ. The family turns around and wonders how she returned. Sameer comes to help Preeta and make the mic work. The guests compliment that Preeta is extremely pretty and well deserved to be Karan’s wife. The inspector Pooja says she is Karan’s wife already. Rano aunty argues that Maira is. She brings Rakhi to confirm. Rakhi says the girl with a mic in her hand is her daughter in law.
Maira was in extreme distress that Preeta will now announce to be Karan’s wife. This is what she wanted to do.
Preeta apologizes to the guests that she had been busy fixing mic for so long, she took their precious time. The press had entered and took photos of Preeta. Maira deliberately fell on the floor, right in front of Preeta. Preeta stops everyone from taking any more pictures. She calls Sherlin to come and help her friend, as Sherlin knows her condition. Preeta wonders aloud why people drink alcohol when they are unable to handle it. It comes as a blow to Maira’s image, when said on mic. Preeta begins her introduction: I am Preeta Karan Luthra. Namaste (greetings). People are happy when anyone marries, but not everyone is happy. Some of the people are jealous as well. Like every other girl, she dreamt that her marriage will bring happiness to a number of people. But some people are always jealous. Then she decided not to pay heed to anyone. Everyone must find in her; good behavior, ethics, and her mother’s values. She is Preeta, not Maira who is drunk today and has lost her senses. She does not even realize she is not Karan’s wife and introduced herself as one to a number of them. Maira claims that Preeta is lying. Preeta greets the inspector from a distance, and compliments it is so nice of her to be here. Preeta now asks everyone to confirm if Maira is the daughter in law of this family.
At Malhotra house, Prithvi’s mother prepares to welcome her daughter in law. Prithvi was annoyed and himself steps in the Kumkum thaal. She questions where her daughter in law is. Prithvi says he is already tensed. He won’t handle anything else. His mother complains that Prithvi ruined everything. Pawan promises his mother to bring Preeta’s sister as her daughter in law now. Her mother says Shrishti speaks a lot, non-stop; she cannot bear her in the house. Pawan says he loved her.
Sherlin was curt that her plan backfired. Preeta is taking advantage of inspector Pooja being in the party. Preeta continues that everyone’s silence speaks volumes already. She is the legitimate wife of Karan. She laughs that she has not experienced it for the first time. She is married to a very handsome, charming and dashing personality, who is a famous cricketer of India. A meagre smile and pride fills Karan’s face. A lot of girls are crazy for Karan. She tells Maira not to feel bad, as the relation of a celebrity and a fan does not change with Karan’s marriage. She can always be a huge fan of Karan, but she can not let her cross the fandom boundary. She will dislike if she does not maintain social distancing, because no wife would. She gives a smile to the press. Karina comes to Preeta. Preeta requests Karina to let her speak, she wants to clarify the confusions Maira created in minds of everyone here. She can not let anyone point a finger on Luthra family.
Preeta exclaims hat she does not want that their family’s name is ruined because it is a thing that doesnot leave the family’s name because she is a member of this family, Maira exclaims that she is lying as Maira got engaged and was about to marry Karan this means that Preeta is lying, Preeta asks that she would never say anything so she would request that anyone comes so that they can reveal the truth, Rano aunti comes exclaiming that she has drunk a lot and has not taken a glass but yet a bottle of wine. Rano aunti goes back and her friend exclaims that she thought why Karan married Preeta but now seeing what kind of a person Maira she is relieved, Maira gets angry demanding why she said that Maira is not the right person for Karan, Ramona and Sherlin take Maira away even when she does not want to.
Preeta exclaims that it is nothing to worry about as Maira was drunk so she is no longer in her senses, Rano aunti mentions that she has a really open heart as if there was someone else, she would have had her beaten up and they also can help her in beating Maira.
Rano praises Preeta at which Janki mentions that it si all because of her Sarla aurora and she has made sure that her daughters have the best upbringing, then Shrishti also explains that her sister is the best person in the world.
Sameer comes to the stage and taking the mike demands that both Karan and Preeta dance as it would make the party a little lively.
Sherlin and Ramona forcefully bring Maira into the room, Maira questions why did they bring her as Preeta was the one who threw the wine on her clothes and it was her plan to make sure that Maira is seen as a villain however Sherlin and Ramona exclaim that she should change as no one would believe her that Preeta did this to her, Maira mentions that she has done a lot for the family so they should listen to her but Sherlin explains that just as she cannot tell that she got Preeta kidnapped they can also not say that it was Preeta behind everything, Ramona sends Maira to change her clothes before leaving the room. Sherlin wonders that till the time Maira changes her clothes Preeta would make sure that everything goes back to normal which would ruin her entire plan.
Karan and Preeta start their dance, he inquires where she had gone, Preeta exclaims that this means he was missing her which is relevant with his questions however he refutes her statements saying that he did not miss her, Preeta exclaims that she knows he was missing her when she was not around, Karan does not believe it but cannot take his eyes off her, Karan mentions that she would have listened when she married Karan who was the dream of every bachelorette. However Preeta is still dancing, Sameer also demands that Shrishti dance with him, Sanjana and Karina are shocked to see Shrishti is dancing with Sameer, Sanjana exclaims that she should make sure that Shrishti is not able to marry Sameer, Karina also vows to not let her in their house.
Rano advises Rakhi to arrange the function once more as Maira ruined the function so she should arrange another one, Rakhi asks Bani Dadi to come with her, she mentions that she knows that they arranged the function but were not able to fulfill the rituals so they would do t once again, Dadi agrees but Karina does not believe what she heard, then inquires why Dadi allowed Rakhi to hold another function at which Dadi mentions that she thought Rakhi was right so she allowed her.
Shrishti and Sameer leave the dance floor so when Preeta and Karan end their dance everyone starts applauding them both.
Sherlin exclaims that she cannot fulfill her plan because of Maira and cannot even contact Prithvi as he is not answering her calls, Sanjana hears her exclaiming this so is shocked of what her daughter is planning.
Sarla is sitting on the sofa wondering what she can do to make sure that Preeta settles in her life, Ganesh brings her the phone and she answers the call to find the Ranouka about how her life if, she mentions that her daughter does not think of her own family, Sarla mentions that it would not take a lot time and she would also have her own grand children really soon. They then invite Sarla to come to their house on zee from 7 pm.
Sanjana inquires why Sherlin is still in contact with Prithvi as he is not the right person, Sherlin exclaims that she is in love with Prithvi and cannot live without him however Sanjana believes that he is just using her, Sherlin responds that she is talking just like Prithvi’s mother as she also does not like Sherlin.
