Saras and Kumud On Starlife Tuesday 28th January 2025 Update, Kumud shouts at Saras, but he remains firm, saying he cannot change his decision. (Someone slap Saras!!) Kumud, heartbroken, asks why he’s doing this and says she cannot live without him. Saras responds that she must live and not talk like this. Kumud professes her love, saying she wants his name with hers forever. Saras tells her his life is full of darkness and he won’t let her fall into it, which is why he’s breaking their relationship.

Kumud pleads, saying their marriage is not just about them but also their families. Saras agrees but says he has no relationship with his father anymore, adding that his will to live is gone and asking for her forgiveness. He cuts the call, leaving Kumud crying as she tries to reach him.
Saras and Kumud are shattered. Kumud cries uncontrollably. Kusum calls Kumud, sounding happy, but Kumud looks at her bridal dress, unsure how to tell her family the truth. Meanwhile, Danny receives a call from Ghuman, who instructs him to leave for London to meet a client. Danny protests, wanting to attend Saras’s wedding, but Ghuman convinces him by saying Saras can postpone his wedding for the deal. Reluctantly, Danny agrees and prepares to leave.
Kumud goes near the pool, remembering Saras’s promise to always be with her. She walks downstairs in a daze, thinking about their moments together and his broken promises. She is devastated.
At the same time, everyone is busy with wedding preparations, and Vidyachatur is thrilled for Kumud. When Kumud arrives, trying to mask her sadness, Vidyachatur jokes that Laxminandan called to say the wedding is postponed. Kusum notices Kumud crying, and Vidyachatur quickly clarifies that it was a joke. He assures her the wedding is happening as planned. However, Kumud shocks everyone by announcing that Saras has called off the marriage.
Vidyachatur refuses to believe it, and Kusum pleads with Kumud to say it’s a lie. Kumud insists it’s the truth. Badimaa tries to call Saras, but Kumud stops her, saying Saras has broken all promises. She blames herself for trusting him despite knowing he fears commitment. Vidyachatur, furious, declares that Saras must face him and cannot escape this time. However, Kumud says Saras lacks the courage to confront him, leaving everyone heartbroken.
Meanwhile, Sunny scolds Saras, demanding that he realize what he has done. Saras coldly replies that he has broken his relationship with Kumud. (Is he a baby to act like this?!) Sunny argues that Kumud loves him deeply and won’t survive without him, accusing Saras of ruining her life. Saras insists he’s like a dead man and can only give her the gift of going away. Sunny reminds Saras that Kumud trusted him and believed they were made for each other, but Saras remains unmoved.
Back at Vidyachatur’s house, he calls Laxminandan, no longer as a friend but as Kumud’s father. Laxminandan is shocked to hear about Saras calling off the marriage and says Saras has left his house. Vidyachatur, furious, tells him to find Saras and ask why he’s breaking the relationship, warning that he cannot forgive him. Laxminandan, equally heartbroken, declares Saras dead to him. Ghuman overhears this and feels victorious, thinking her revenge is complete.
Sunny continues trying to reason with Saras, reminding him that his actions mirror his father’s betrayal. Sunny warns that if Kumud does something drastic, like Saras’s mother, he will never forgive himself. Saras is left stunned.
Kumud sits alone, reflecting on Saras’s betrayal. She vows to forget him, declaring he no longer deserves her love. With tears in her eyes, she looks at her mehendi and decides to let go of every dream she shares with him. Kusum finds her and consoles her, urging her to return home. Kumud hugs Kusum and breaks down, but Kusum reassures her, offering strength to move forward.
Meanwhile, Vidyachatur, Guniyal, and Badimaa struggle to come to terms with Saras’s actions. Guniyal, deeply heartbroken, questions why Saras would do this, lamenting Kumud’s shattered dreams. Badimaa blames herself for trusting Saras, drawing parallels with her past. Vidyachatur, determined to protect Kumud’s honour, declares that her marriage will take place as planned. Despite Badimaa’s caution against hasty decisions, Vidyachatur insists on finding a groom who values and respects Kumud.
Kumud, overhearing this, agrees to marry whomever her father chooses. She assures them that she will leave their home the next day as planned, despite the pain in her heart. Alone in her room, she fights her tears, silently accepting her fate. Badimaa visits her and tries to comfort her, but Kumud remains firm in her decision to prioritize her family’s happiness over her own.
In Dubai, Saras is plagued by guilt over his decision. Unable to bear the thought of Kumud’s suffering, he tells Sunny that he must return to India to make amends. Sunny supports him, urging Saras to bring Kumud back and fix the damage he has caused. Saras resolves to apologize to everyone, hoping Kumud will forgive him.
Back in Ratnagiri, Kumud decides to erase all memories of Saras. She gathers every keepsake, burns them, and symbolically ends her relationship with him. Her sisters, Kusum and Kumari, watch with heavy hearts but respect her determination to move on. As she extinguishes the last remnants of her past, Kumud declares that everything has turned to ash, leaving no reason to cry anymore.
