Haunted Love On ZeeOne Thursday 16th October 2025 Update, A woman is seen romancing her boyfriend and having an extramarital affair. They chat lovingly while lying on the bed. The boyfriend reminds her that her husband will soon be coming home. She replies that he can come if he wants; she likes the one who has brought excitement into her boring life.
Her husband walks in, and the boyfriend disappears. The woman asks if he has come, and he says yes. An old statue is then shown.
Meanwhile, a newly married couple, Akshay and Gunjan, are seen entering their home after their wedding. Akshay opens the door, and Gunjan teases him for not arranging the graha pravesh ritual. Akshay notices their neighbor bhabhi passing by and quickly closes the door nervously.
Gunjan sees marigold flowers on the bed and complains that he couldn’t even get roses. Akshay explains that rose petals leave color stains, and since the bedsheet is yellow, he thought marigolds would blend better. She gets upset, throws the flowers away, and sleeps. Akshay tries to get her attention, but she ignores him.
The next morning, Gunjan wakes up and finds a gift beside the bed. She unwraps it and becomes happy to see a new mobile phone. She starts getting sweet messages from Akshay—asking if she has woken up, if she’s had her tea, and if she’s feeling fresh.
She smiles reading his romantic messages but then frowns when she sees his next message—reminding her to cook lunch, be careful with the neighbor bhabhi, and not mingle with her. Gunjan gets angry and vows to cook such bad food that he will never ask her to cook again.
She calls her friend, complaining that her husband is boring and unromantic, describing his messages and warnings about the bhabhi. Her friend laughs and says bachelors are innocent while bhabhis are usually clever, so Akshay might be right. She advises Gunjan to stay away from the neighbor bhabhi.
Gunjan suddenly feels someone watching her. She turns and is startled to see a beautiful woman. The woman talks to her sweetly and asks how her night was. Gunjan asks who she is, and the woman introduces herself as the neighbor bhabhi. She says she brought kachoris with extra asafoetida, just the way Akshay likes them.
Bhabhi asks for tea, but Gunjan says there’s no tea powder. Bhabhi confidently shows her where the tea and sugar are kept, saying she knows everything about the house. She mentions that Akshay doesn’t like spicy food but enjoys his favorite rajma chawal even when it’s spicy, and that he likes sweet tea.
She then gives Gunjan a gift box, saying it will bring excitement into her life. When Gunjan opens it, she finds an old statue inside.
That night, Gunjan gets dressed and waits for Akshay. He texts that he will be late. Suddenly, the statue on the bed begins to move and turns into Akshay. He comes close and gets romantic. Gunjan is surprised and says he told her he’d come late, but he replies that he came from the old haveli near the dead king’s flowing river just for her. He throws rose petals on her, and they consummate their marriage.
The next morning, Gunjan wakes up and sees the statue again, now back in its place on the table. She then finds Akshay in the kitchen making tea for her. They sit together, and Akshay nervously says he’s thinking of taking 4–5 days off for a trip. Gunjan gets excited and assumes it’s a honeymoon, but he says they’ll go on a pilgrimage instead. She gets angry and walks away.
At night, she again hopes Akshay returns early, but he messages that he’ll be late. The statue once again turns into Akshay. Gunjan happily greets him, and he tells her he knows everything about her. She serves him sweets, and he teases that it must be as sweet as her, but today he wants spicy food. She reminds him he doesn’t like spicy things, but he says he’s changing for her.
He brings out pani puri, and she excitedly asks how he knew she was craving it. He feeds her lovingly and gets romantic on the swing. Meanwhile, the real Akshay is returning home. Bhabhi sees him and hides.
As soon as Akshay opens the door, the statue vanishes. Gunjan looks confused and faints. Akshay catches her and asks if she’s okay. He warns her again to stay away from bhabhi. Gunjan sees the statue blowing her a flying kiss before turning still again and faints once more.

That night, Gunjan wakes up in fear as she sees the statue beside her, throwing flowers and touching her while Akshay sleeps next to her. She screams, and Akshay wakes up, but the statue disappears.
The next morning, Gunjan storms into bhabhi’s house and angrily asks why she gave her that statue. She accuses her of having bad intentions. Bhabhi calmly replies that what happened was Gunjan’s own doing. She says the statue only reflects one’s desires and dreams, especially those that women suppress. It’s a way to fulfill what they secretly wish for.
Gunjan gets furious and grabs an iron rod to break the statue. The statue suddenly comes to life, warning her that she can’t escape her desires. It tells her to kill her husband so they can be together forever.
Later at night, Akshay returns home, and Gunjan tells him everything. She apologizes for letting her desires control her. Akshay comforts her, saying he loves her, and he has brought flowers and a saree for her. He asks if he can help her wear it. As he helps her, the statue appears angrily, declaring that their romance must end.
The statue tries to stab Akshay, but Gunjan jumps in front and takes the stab. The statue asks why she did that. Gunjan replies that she was wrong and wants to die being loyal to her husband. The statue dissolves into thin air.
