Between You And Me on zee one, Saturday 8th July 2023 update, e dining table, Mishri says I am missing Mapu’s cooking. It’s been so long since I ate something which she cooked. No one can cooks like her! Akhilesh overhears her. Vansh calls it impossible. Eat all this. Mishri declines sadly. I am not hungry. She heads upstairs followed by Vansh. Akhilesh decides cook something before Mishri makes Amaya cook something for her while mistaking her to be Ira. I only taught Ira how to make parathas after all.
Akhilesh is thinking about Ira while kneading dough. Pushpa notices him adding too much water in the flour and laughs. He realises his folly. What should I do now? I get so lost in Ira’s thoughts that I don’t understand anything. Where am I lost? I will make parathas for the kids with full concentration. He has kneaded the dough and
makes parathas. They get burnt as he gets lost in his thoughts yet again. All the parathas meet the same fate. Akhilesh gives up. I don’t know why I cannot do anything nicely! Pushpa comes back to check on him. Did your Amma not teach you anything? He decides to try again when Mira enters. She asks him to move aside. I will cook for everyone. Pushpa refuses to eat anything from her hands. You separated Mishri’s Bapu from Mishri’s Mapu. Go away! Mira tries to explain but Pushpa ends up shouting on her. Akhilesh calms her down. I will make parathas. Mira wont even touch it. Pushpa nods. He tells Mira to go to her room. You know Amma is a kid right now. She will be fine in some time.
Kabir is speaking to his daughter. He narrates a story to her. Tanya opens the room’s door and calls out to him seductively. He goes quiet for a moment sensing Tanya’s presence but continues the story. Tanya asks him who he is telling stories to. I like listening to stories too. I feel like listening to music today. She plays a song and smiles at him. Kabir smashes her phone on the ground shocking Tanya. She panics. Why did you break my phone? It was so expensive! He pushes her out of the room and closes the door on her face. Her hand is stuck in the door. He is leaning on the door with his face towards the room. Tanya shouts at him that it is hurting but he does not hear any of it. Kabir ends the story and his call. He wipes his tears and opens the door. Tanya asks him if he is in his senses. I am shouting out in pain and you are telling stories to someone! He glares at her.
Ira can smell burnt food. She asks Pushpa what she is doing here. Pushpa tells her how Akhilesh tried to make parathas for Mishri. She wanted to eat food cooked by her mother but these ones got burnt. Ira tells her to go. I have to make pancakes for Kabir and myself. Pushpa calls her bad. You will soon grow horns on your head. Ira sends her away and smiles. She makes parathas for Mishri. She hasn’t eaten the parathas made by me since so long. She tastes the parathas cooked by Akhilesh. He burnt the parathas and dint even add ajwain. He does not know she likes ajwain. My parathas are just the way Mishri likes it! They look a little burnt as well. No one will know I made them. She keeps the plate of parathas on the dining table. Mishri will come running because of the fragrance.
Akhilesh drinks the glass of water kept on his room’s small table.
Mishri and Vansh run downstairs as soon as the fragrance of Ira’s food hits Mishri’s nostrils. She smells them. My Mapu has made them! The fragrance is just the same. Vansh says it isn’t possible. How would Mami know you want to eat the parathas made by her? Mishri says my Mapu is very smart. She knows everything. She takes a bite and jump in excitement. My Mapu only has made them!
Akhilesh hears her shouting but does not pay heed. Mishri calls out to him and Pushpa. Akhilesh wonders what happened now.
Mishri is doing her happy dance around the living room. Vansh and Pushpa are also jumping in joy. Akhilesh asks Mishri what happened. Ira asks them what they are shouting about. Did you have some lottery? Mira also comes there. Mishri says yes. I wanted to eat the parathas cooked by Mapu. She made these for me. She shows the plate to Akhilesh. Akhilesh is taken aback. Ira says in your dreams. Akhilesh says I made them. I dint give you as they got burnt a little. She says I am not lying. Take a bite and you will know. Ira thinks Akhilesh will realise he dint make it once he will taste ajwain in it. Mishri gives Akhilesh a bite. Akhilesh takes a bite and passes out on the sofa. Ira’s eyes widen in shock. Everyone gets tensed. They try to wake him up but in vain. Kabir smirks from upstairs.
Flashback shows Kabir adding few drops of something in the glass.
Kabir says the medicine has started showing its effect. Poor Akhilesh does not know that he is looking at his daughter for the last time.
Mishri sprinkles water on Akhilesh while Mira is rubbing his hands. Pushpa is crying. She tells Mira to stay away from her friend. Don’t touch my friend. Mishri realises that Akhilesh’s body is turning cold. I am with you Bapu. Devina comes out hearing the commotion. She gets worried seeing Akhilesh unconscious. What happened to him? Mishri shares that they are clueless too. Ira wonders how Akhilesh fell unconscious suddenly.
Kabir stops Ira from intervening in the situation. She requests him to let her save Akhilesh but he asks her to go upstairs instead.
Devina tells Mishri to call doc. Pushpa says there is a doctor. Mishri’s Mapu is doctor. My friend would have been fine if she was here. Ira looks on helplessly. How to help Akhilesh avoiding everyone’s eyes?
Pushpa says there is a doctor. Mishri’s Mapu is doctor. My friend would have been fine if she was here. Ira heads upstairs. Mishri tries to go after her but Kabir stops her. Stay away from Amaya. Mishri says my Bapu will be fine with her help. Kabir tells Mira to take her husband inside. I have to do some urgent work. There is too much noise here. Pushpa asks Devina to help her take her friend to his room. We will make him rest inside. Mira tries to help but Pushpa tells her against it. Devina reasons that only they are elders here. Rest all are kids. Mishri nods. Mira helps them take Akhilesh inside.
Mishri sends Devina to call doc but Pushpa stops her. This isn’t required. We will call Mishri’s Mapu. She will make him fine. Mishri takes her to a corner. We don’t have to look
for her. She is right here in this house but she cannot come in front of everyone. Pushpa asks her if Amaya is indeed Ira. Mishri nods. She wants to hide her truth from everyone. Pushpa calls it wrong. My friend needs her. I will bring her here. She stops Mira from going near Akhilesh. Only Ira Kaki will be near him. Go. Mira leaves sadly. Pushpa and the kids go to Ira’s room. Pushpa warns Mira to stay at the door only.
Ira asks Kabir why he dint let her treat Akhilesh. Kabir replies that he does not want her truth to be out. You only said that Mishri is doing dramas to make you spill your truth. Why would Akhilesh pass out suddenly? Ira reasons that Mishri is a kid. She wont involve Akhilesh in this. He needs me. I must go. He reminds her that she isn’t the last doctor of the world. Pushpa and Mishri walk in and hold Ira’s hands from each side. Pushpa asks her to come. Ira Kaki, my friend needs you. We will play this game of Amaya Ira later. Kabir shouts she isn’t Ira but Amaya. Mishri says she is my Mapu. Ira tells them to call some doc. I am not a doctor. Mishri folds her hands in front of Ira. Please don’t do this. Bapu needs you. His entire body has turned cold. Please come with me. Ira repeats her words. Pushpa starts crying. I don’t know anything. You must come with me. We wont go without you. They drag Ira with her. Ira shouts against it but they pay no heed to her words. Pushpa warns Mira again not to come inside. You will see the worst of me otherwise.
Pushpa asks Ira to check Akhilesh. She shouts that she is no doc. Mishri whispers in Ira’s ears that they will take everyone outside so she does not have to tell her truth to anyone. Devina is trying to eavesdrop but cannot hear them. Pushpa makes her step aside. Mishri takes everyone with her and closes the door from outside. Ira checks Akhilesh’s pulse. She finds her suitcase and checks his blood pressure. How can it be so low? He has never experienced this problem before.
Downstairs, Vansh asks Mishri how Akhilesh passed out suddenly. Will he be fine? Pushpa says nothing will happen to him. It is Janamashtami today. My friend will be fine. She also promotes Paramavatar Shree Krishna serial. Vansh asks Mishri about Akhilesh again. Mishri assures him that Mapu is with him. He will be fine. She will very soon find out what has happened to him. Kabir overhears their convo. Hope Ira wont find out that I gave him sleeping pills. I must stop her from examining Akhilesh. He asks Mira why she isn’t with her husband. Mira tells him that Badi Ma has advised her against it. Kabir reasons that she isn’t mentally fit. How can you take her words seriously? He needs you the most right now. Devina also tells Mira to not fall in Pushpa’s words. Your husband is with a stranger in his room right now! You should be with your husband right now. Pushpa asks Devina who (s)he called mad. Did you call me mad? Devina dismisses it. Meanwhile, Kabir adds a medicine in a juice glass and smirks. He gives it to Mira. Your friend will be fine after drinking it. Pushpa tells Mira not to give it to her friend. Give it to Ira Kaki and she will give it to my friend. You are bad!
Ira gives injection to Akhilesh. His body is warm. He is feeling hot. She starts unbuttoning his kurta. Mira opens the door and is shocked to see her thus. What are you doing? Ira says I was stuck here so I thought to do something. What if something happens to him because of me? Mira tells her not to worry so much. It is my family. Kabir Bhaiya has gone to call doctor. They must be coming. Ira says fine. I am anyways not interested to be around this man. See for yourself. Ira begins to go when Akhilesh holds her hand. Don’t leave me alone Ira. I cannot live without you. I am very lonely without you. Mira looks away unhappily.
Kabir gets a phone call. It is Dr. Mishra who asks him as to what he should tell the family members about Akhilesh. Kabir says tell them it is due to weakness. Don’t test Akhilesh for anything. He ends the call. I have to give drugs to Akhilesh just like this. I will make his condition so bad that Ira will believe he cannot take care of Mishri. It wont be difficult for me to kill Mishri once Ira takes her with her. My daughter will get Mishri’s heart.
Ira says he got back in his senses a little and he is back to his old story already. Leave my hand. Mira asks her if Akhilesh is holding her hand so tightly that she cannot free it. She tries to free Ira’s hand and drops the glass. Everything is going wrong. It is entirely because of you! Go from here. I will take care of Akhilesh. Ira frees her hand. Fine! Mishri notices Ira leaving from the room. She asks Mira why she sent Ira away. You said you will help me bring Mapu and Bapu close. Why did you send her out of the room? Mira says I had to do it to make her jealous. How would she feel jealous otherwise? I had to do this against my wish. Mishri prays that Mapu admits her truth real soon. Dr. Mishri greets them. He checks Akhilesh. Mira looks guilty.
Ira is pacing worriedly in her room. Don’t know what has happened to Akhilesh. There is no other way to find out even. Kabir enters. Ira asks him if he spoke to doc. What did he say? Kabir lies that Akhilesh lost conscious due to stress and weakness. Ira says body temperature does not fluctuate because of stress and weakness. We must get his tests done. Make me speak to the doctor please. He gets tensed. You are over reacting. It is true that he loves you so much as you love him so much too. He is worried about money. He even got married. You must do something to relieve him of his financial stress. Ira falls for his words.
Everyone is at the dining table. Mishri tells Akhilesh to eat everything. Doc said you have become weak. You have to eat butter with parathas. Mira says you don’t eat much. From now onwards I will look after your food intake. He calls it too much but she says I can eat more than you. Ira looks on from the stairs sadly. Mira can take care of Akhilesh but he must stand on his own feet to solve his problem. I don’t care if I have to become bad for helping him!
Mishri tells Akhilesh that someone has come to ask abo[ut your health. Ira starts her drama. This guy put everyone in trouble in morning and he is happily eating breakfast now! Mira asks her if she has come to taunt them. Ira asks for doctor’s consultation fee. It cost Kabir 5k. Mira says I will give it. Ira says Akhilesh promised a token money also which he hasn’t given to me till now. Forget about 10 lacs, pay me 1 lac atleast. What if something happens to a family member tomorrow? How will you pay for their health then? Mira says I will give it to you by tomorrow. Akhilesh asks Mira how she will arrange that much amount by tomorrow. Mira shares that she got laddoo order for janamashtami. We will get 1 lac if we complete the order. Akhilesh is hesitant but Mishri says we will do it together.
Mira tells Ira that she will get her money by tomorrow. They head upstairs.
Ira is praying for Akhilesh’s success in the house temple. Akhilesh will regain his confidence once he earns money with his hard work. She notices Devina’s reflection in one of the photos. Devina thinks it means she is Ira. Ira starts her acting again. These family members do so much melodrama! Ira would have been crying in front of you just like this if she was here! Devina calls her mad. Ira says thank God I wasn’t born or raised in India. How would I have stopped Akhilesh from his laddoo contract otherwise? This house and even you will be all mine once he fails! Devina hides as Ira turns and walks away. Devina says I don’t understand if she was acting earlier or now. It has become more urgent to find out her truth now! Ira thinks to divert Langdu Chacha / Devina’s attention. He doubts me.
Mishri and Vansh are celebrating Janamashtami. She thanks Lord Krishna for the contract. Help him succeed. Vansh says you cannot succeed without working. Let’s go. Everyone sits down to make laddoos. Pushpa is tempted by the fragrance. What’s going on? Mishri tells her about the laddoos. Pushpa says I love laddoos. My Amma used to make laddoos too. She also helps them. Mira says it is great. I have never eaten the food cooked by Badi Ma but it will be great if she makes them. Pushpa corrects her. My name isn’t Badi Ma but Pichkari. Akhilesh shows her how to make a round laddoo. Pushpa breaks few laddoos which worries Vansh but Akhilesh tells him that this is the blessing of Amma. It is an auspicious sign only. He asks her to bless her. She replies that she is younger than him. I cannot bless you. He tells her that her blessings encourage him to excel.
