Between You And Me on zee one Friday 21st July 2023 update, Ira tells her family how Chuttan saved her today. He chased the woman as if his own mother was attacked. Akhilesh asks her if they found the woman. Ira shakes her head. Guard and Chuttan return home. Guard tells Akhilesh that they couldn’t see the woman. Akhilesh asks Chuttan if he saw the woman. Chuttan does not tell them it was his mother as they wont let her live in peace otherwise.

I must lie to Akhilesh. He lies that he couldn’t see her face. Ira advises him not to do such stunts again. I was so worried for you. What if that woman had hurt you? Pushpa asks him if he is hurt. He shakes his head. Mishri takes him upstairs to freshen up. Akhilesh tells the guard to be careful. I don’t understand what’s happening lately. Earlier I was blamed for Kamla Chachi’s murder and now you
were attacked. I think we must inform police. Pushpa agrees but Ira asks him if both the incidents are connected. He says it would be. Pushpa and Devina ask them what they are up to. Akhilesh says we must tell them the truth now. Ira takes them to her room.
Devina is shocked to see the report. It says that you had twins. Pushpa is stunned. It means I have another grandkid? Akhilesh nods. That’s what Kamla Chachi was trying to tell us that day. Ira wonders why she hid it for so long. Even Pushpa is boggled. Akhilesh says the secret is buried with her now but the one who killed her that day can tell us about our kid. I heard voices in the background during Chachi’s last call. Pushpa says we might have a grandson. Mishri came in this house as Ma Lakshmi and my grandson will come as Nand Gopal. Where is he? Akhilesh says we must find the murderer to find our kid. They wonder how to find the culprit in such a big city. Kamla was from Silvassa. Maybe the murderer is also from that village. She asks Ira if she recalls whether there was someone with Kamla Chachi during her delivery. Ira says I was not in the condition to understand anything. Pushpa says why wasn’t there any discussion in the village about you having twins. Ira shrugs. Maybe Chachi dint want to tell anyone but I fail to understand why she hid it from me. Pushpa is certain Kamla would have told someone for sure. Do you know someone who was close to her? Ira denies. She used to run a grocery store and a guy from the store used to come over to help. His name was Ramavatar! Pushpa decides to go to Silvassa to find him but Akhilesh tells her against it. Your life might be in risk. She insists upon taking the guard and Devina along with her. I will do anything to find my grandson. You both continue your search here! Ira says it would be so great if this news is true. The atmosphere will change completely. He nods. Right now I wonder in what condition our kid will be.
Chuttan is praying in the house temple when he notices Chanda outside the window. He runs to the door and tries to open it but in vain. Both of them are crying. He asks her to come inside. I cannot get out of here. All the windows are locked. You can ask Ira that you are my mother. She will let me go with you. She thinks that she cannot come in front of Ira. What if she recognizes me? He requests her to take him with her. I want to go home with you. She tells him that she cannot come in front of Ira. They can create problems for me and your Bapu. I will come to pick you once they go out of the house. I will wait outside somewhere. Don’t cry and take care of yourself. He wipes his tears. I must send everyone outside so as to go with Mayi.
Chuttan is thinking of a plan to send everyone outside. Mishri finds him lost in his own world and asks him what he was thinking. She gives him a box full of chocolates. He shows attitude to her. I am thinking of something important right now but I cannot think of a solution. She suggests him to do Shirshasana. He is confused. She thinks to enjoy the moment and guides him as to how it’s done. He fails in his first attempt so she shows him how it’s done. He tickles her and laughs. Do you now know how it feels when you fall down? She says I don’t want to hit you but you do deserve a slap for this. He replies that even he wont sit quietly if she will touch him. They challenge each other for a wrestling match. Ira and Akhilesh intervene just then. They pick up each of them. Chuttan hits Akhilesh during the tussle. Akhilesh looks at him. He tries to hit him back but Ira stops him. Chuttan is a kid! Akhilesh tells her to hold her kid back. She tells him not to fight with kids like kids. He tells them not to fight. There is something important to discuss. Ira tells the kids to calm down.
Ira addresses Mishri. You know that we are thinking of adopting a baby brother for you? Mishri gets glad thinking that they have found her baby brother and jumps in excitement. Ira tells her to hear them out first. We are not adopting anyone now as you already have a twin brother. They explain the meaning of twins to it. She asks them why she hasn’t met him yet. Akhilesh says even we don’t have an answer to that but you do have a real younger brother. She does her pony dance which scares Chuttan. He asks Akhilesh if his daughter is possessed. Mishri tells him to stop his nonsense. Now my brother will take care of you! Chuttan jumps in front of her. Maybe he will trouble you thousand times more than me. She says it cannot be possible. My brother will be nice like me. Let’s go to find him. Akhilesh and Ira say we are trying to find him but we need to find some clue about him first. We need to go out to look for him. You should stay at home with Chuttan. We are going to Silvassa to find him. Mishri agrees. She knows Akhilesh hasn’t eaten in the morning and goes to bring milk for him. Akhilesh makes a few calls. Ira also makes some calls from her end. Chuttan sits on the sofa quietly. On one call, Ira asks about a guy working at Kamla Chachi’s store. Chuttan decides to fool Mishri when the elders are gone. I will leave with Mayi then.
Ira takes Ramavatar’s name during her call but gets no hint from anyone. Ira feels bad that no one knows anything about Ramavatar. Wish I was not so unwell back then! Mishri keeps the glass on the table. Akhilesh whispers that her mother has entered in her “curse yourself” zone. I will hold her from behind. You know what is to be done. They take turns to tickle her. Ira tells them she isn’t a kid. Akhilesh says we will baby talk as a kid is coming. She insists that the kid will be Mishri’s age. He will call you guys crazy if he hears this convo. Akhilesh says he will be just like me and Mishri. They both say Jai Shree Ram in unison. She asks him if he will open a temple. I don’t want another well mannered boy like you. My son will be naughty like me! Mishri says it’s okay. Vansh was also naughty and I liked him! Hope my brother is also like Vansh. You will like him too. A paper falls next to Ira’s feet just then. They all look towards the window. Chuttan peeks at them from outside.
A paper falls next to Ira’s feet. Ira picks it up. Chuttan peeks at them from outside. Who is there? Chuttan runs away. Akhilesh peeks out of the window but does not see anyone. Chuttan comes back inside stealthily. Ira reads the message on the letter. There is an address mentioned on it. Your son is here. Mishri asks her if they found the address of her brother. Akhilesh is puzzled. Chuttan asks them what happened. Akhilesh says I think someone played a prank with us but Chuttan says it appears as if you watch many Hindi movies. Go and check once. Mishri also requests them. Ira tells her to stay with Chuttan. Ira leaves with Akhilesh. Mishri tells Chuttan she is going upstairs to do her homework. You will stay with me only. Don’t act smart. He thinks to fool her so he can go with his Mayi.
Mishri takes him upstairs with her.
Pushpa and Devina reach Kamla’s house. The house is under police surveillance. Devina reprimands her but Pushpa isn’t in a mood to back off now. No one can stop me from finding my grandson today. Devina tells her against it. You also told the officer we will come with a guard but we don’t have anyone with us. Pushpa stays put. She blackmails Devina about the insurance money again. Devina gives in. Constable stops them from going inside. She requests him to let them go inside. They blackmail him emotionally and get inside.
Chuttan is playing while Mishri is studying. She tells him not to make noise. I am studying here. Chuttan tells her that studies don’t help anyone. My Bapu studied till 10th yet I am smarter than him. Mishri reasons that knowledge is important to grow in life. Chuttan says I know lot many things already. Do you know how many stars are in the galaxy? He tells her a figure. She asks him how he knows this. He brings the poster of galaxy. I counted it from this poster. Dint your teacher taught you how to count in school? He mocks her. She says I have been taught well. I know how to count. He challenges her to count the stars in the poster. Mishri picks up the poster and starts counting one by one. Chuttan tells her to wake him up once she is done counting the stars.
Mishri gets tired and lies down as well. Chuttan tries to make use of the opportunity to escape. The soldier guarding me is asleep! He opens the door but the moment he does that, a glass near the door upturns and marbles spill on the floor. Chuttan shouts in pain as he slips on the floor. Mishri laughs. Are you hurt? I am not as sweet as you think. You can fool me but even I can act naughty! Are you in pain? You can’t get up? How will you run away from the house now? She offers to help him but he pushes her hand aside. I will see you once my back is fine. She tells him to keep looking. There is no tax for that. Now go to the bed yourself. He says I am joking. Please take me to the bed. God will give you lots of chocolates. Mishri takes him to the bed and helps him lie down. She hears the car’s horn and runs downstairs.
Ira and Akhilesh enter. Mishri asks her parents if they found her brother. Are you guys going to give me a surprise? Is he hiding behind the gate? Akhilesh says I am sorry we dint find your brother there. Someone played a joke with us. Ira wonders who would it be who is playing with their emotions. I was so hopeful. Akhilesh requests her not to break down. We will find our son soon. She wonders what if they never find him. He tells her not to think so. We will find him. She says it would have been better if we dint know about our other kid. This hope wouldn’t have been there then. Mishri feels bad for Ira. The one who made my Mapu cry shouldn’t get a place even in hell! Who could it be? She picks up the letter. The handwriting looks familiar. She picks up Chuttan’s previous handwritten note and matches the handwriting in both the letters. It means Chuttan threw that letter? He broke my Mapu’s heart. I wont spare him!
Devina asks Pushpa they wont find anyone here. Pushpa speaks of Ramavatar. We might find something about him here. Let’s look around. They freak out for a second seeing the dead body’s marking on the floor. They start searching the room for some info / clue. Devina picks a ring lying under the bed. She smiles thinking that it is a gold ring. How can a woman from such a tacky neighbourhood have a gold ring? It will be sold in 20-25k atleast. It was fruitful to come here. Pushpa notices the ring. She snatches it out of Devina’s hands. Aren’t you ashamed to snatch the ring from a dead body? Devina insists it is her. They both start arguing over the ring. Devina lies that she got the ring from her insurance money. Pushpa blackmails her yet again.
Chuttan tells his mother that he tried to send Ira and Akhilesh out of the house but this Mishri foiled my plan. Chanda asks him if the girl hit her. Why dint you hit her back? He denies. I slipped on the marbles she had put on the door. Mishri is looking for Chuttan. Chanda asks Chuttan if he is in pain. He nods. My pain would have disappeared if I was home. You would have massaged my back with oil. Mishri notices him speaking to someone from the window. Who is he speaking to? Chuttan tells his mother that he is missing her very much. Go away now. Hope no one sees you with me. She kisses him through the window but panics seeing Mishri behind Chuttan.
Mishri gets curious seeing Chuttan near the door. Who is he speaking to? Chanda goes away when Mishri walks up to Chuttan. She asks him who he was speaking to. He says I came to drink water. I wasn’t talking to anyone. She looks out of the window. Chanda is hiding behind the wall. Chuttan asks Mishri if she has checked outside. no one is there. Go now. I am in this condition because of you. I don’t want to see your face. She tells him that even she isn’t interested in speaking to him and walks away but stops upon recalling as to why she had gone to meet Chuttan. She hears Chuttan speaking to the window. Chuttan promises his mother that he will fool these people very soon and come to her. Mishri feels bad for Chuttan. It means his mother had come to meet him! He must be missing her very
much which is why he is trying to get out of the house. I must tell this to Mapu and Bapu.
Devina and Pushpa are fighting over the ring when a constable asks them how they came inside. You will be jailed for entering inside a crime scene. Devina says we were leaving but Pushpa says we thought to help you in your investigation. My son has been framed for Kamla’s murder. I will help you in your investigation. She shows him the gold ring. Devina points at the bed’s leg. Constable says it belongs to a guy. Pushpa says it might be of murderer. It might have slipped during the tussle. Constable informs his senior.
Ira is looking at toys and clothes (of an infant). Mishri comes there to tell her about Chuttan when she notices the toys and small clothes on the bed. She gets concerned seeing tears in Ira’s eyes. What happened? Ira shares that the most important day of her life was when she had become a mother. It is a very special feeling for a mother. A woman maybe selfish but she becomes selfless when she holds her newborn in her arms. I have kept all the moments of your growing years but today I feel that the second kid might have been deprived of so many privileges. He must be walking by now but he has never held my hand till date. He has not eaten the food cooked by me till now. I have not been able to put him to sleep also. What had happened to me that day that I wasn’t conscious at all? Mishri tells her not to say bad things about her Mapu. You are the best. You have raised me by yourself. Ira smiles a little. Mishri wipes her tears. Even my brother will know how brave you are once he is here. Ira wonders how it will happen.
Chanda returns to her hiding place. Ramavatar has gained conscious. Why do you look so sad? Is it real this time or have you come here to fool me again? She cries that she couldn’t bring her son back. What kind of a mother am I? I have committed a sin. How could I leave him in the orphanage? She gives him a stick. Hit me so much that I will never think of risking Chuttan’s life again. He calms her down. Don’t curse yourself. Everything will be fine. He notices her wound. How did you get hurt? She tells him that she went to kill Ira but Chuttan threw steel plate at her. He dint know it was me or he wouldn’t have hurt me at all.
Constable says Sir told me to keep the ring back in place. He said that the murderer might come back to look for it. We will nab him then. Pushpa likes the idea. Devina suggests leaving but Pushpa wants to stay to catch the culprit too. Devina finally takes her outside. Pushpa is reluctant to leave. Devina reasons that it is dangerous. Pushpa gives weird ideas about trapping the murderer. She hands a stick to Devina and takes one herself. Let’s wait for the murderer right here. Devina looks dejected.
Ramavatar asks her why she tried to do that. Chanda says I only wanted to bring my Chuttan home with me. Ramavatar tends to her wound. You have gone crazy. She does not let him apply turmeric. Get me poison. I cannot live without my son! He tells her to calm down. I wont let it happen. I am not in favour of this idea but I cannot see you yearn for Chuttan like this. I will help you in getting Chuttan home. I know someone who kidnaps kids. We will leave with Chuttan then. She tells him to speak to them. He reasons that they would need money for that. Where is the gold ring that you took from me some days ago? She looks at her hand.
Mishri tells Ira not to worry. Bajrang Bali is looking for my brother. We will find him soon. Akhilesh seconds her. Mishri is smart like me. Ira smiles saying my son would have gone after me. Mishri jokes to lift her mood. Akhilesh asks her if she is watching too many Nirupa Roy’s movies. They enact a scene from Nirupa Roy’s movie. Ira ends up smiling and so does Mishri. Akhilesh and Mishri share a hug. Ira asks them if they don’t get tired of their drama. Mishri and Akhilesh say we are very hungry. Let’s dip biscuits in cold water. Ira asks them why they are doing this. Akhilesh says you are upset after all. Ira tells them she will cook. What will you eat? Chuttan says parathe. Everyone turns to look at him.
Chanda and Ramavatar panic thinking about the gold ring. Chanda says I thought to give bribe to the peon to adopt Chuttan legally. Ramavatar asks her if she dropped it in Kamla’s house. Chanda says it might be possible. Ramavatar says police can reach us because of that. We must get hold of it. He leaves for Kamla’s house. I wont let police find you.
Ira agrees to make parathas for everyone. Akhilesh heads to the kitchen. Chuttan is going out too when Mishri asks him if he does not have anything to tell her Mapu. He is confused. Mishri says someone threw a letter and fooled my Mapu. She is hurt. Do you know who played a prank with her? He feigns ignorance and takes Ira with him. Ira asks Mishri to come as well. Mishri thinks she knows how much Chuttan is missing his parents but my parents are upset because of the letter that you threw at them. You don’t regret any of it at all! You aren’t bothered by their pain. I must teach you a lesson which you will never forget.
