Between You And Me on zee one Sunday 28th may 2023 update, Ira calls Mishri and warns her to stay away from Kunika. Don’t eat / drink whatever she gives you. Don’t stay with her in a single room and don’t go anywhere with her. Keep calling me in every 15 minutes to let me know you are fine. Mishri asks her what happened but Ira does not tell her. Mishri decides to find out what Kunika did this time which is bothering her Mapu so much. Ira tries Bhavik’s number but it is unreasonable.

Pushpa gives Rs. 500 to Devina to buy groceries. I will also ask you to give me a list of expenses. Devina refuses so Pushpa drags her with her. Adi is drinking champagne. Pushpa asks him what happened to him. He tells her to shut up calling her old woman. Pushpa decides to show him his place but Devina calmly asks her what he is up to. He tells her
that he has won lottery of 10 crores. Devina goes crazy and returns the Rs. 500 note back to Pushpa. Now we are rich too! Adi asks his mother what she would like to buy with this money. Devina shows an inclination to buy this house. I would like to throw Pushpa Pandey out of this house! Adi nods. I got you a gift. Devina and Pushpa are curious to see it. Adi gives her a diamond ring. Devina tells Pushpa that she taunted her for eating 2 carrots and my son got me a diamond ring worth 2 karats. Jeweller comes to collect payment. Adi tells his mom to give him 10 lacs. Devina gives him 11 lacs including 1 lac as tip. Jeweller questions her on the notes. It has Pushpa’s photo printed on it! Everyone teases Devina. It was an April Fool prank! Pushpa sends the fake jeweller (Bansi) back to his work. Pushpa gives money to Adi. Devina scolds him for fooling his own mother. He replies that he is her son only. She chases him around the house. The kids join them. Pushpa tells them to eat once they are done playing.
Mishri calls her Mapu to give update to her. Vansh is curious. What are you doing? Mishri tells him that Mapu wants her to inform her that she is fine. I should call her in every 15 minutes. Vansh asks her if someone is going to kill her. Kunika comes there with almond milk for Mishri. Mishri refuses. Mapu told me not to take anything from you. Kunika starts crying loudly. Why are you not giving me a single chance to be your mother? Akhilesh asks them what’s happening. Kunika tells him that she has been trying her best but failing miserably. I brought almond milk for Mishri but Ira has told Mishri not to take anything from me. Akhilesh asks Mishri why she is behaving like this. Mishri tells her what her mother had told her. Akhilesh says she can lie too but Mishri does not buy it. Akhilesh drinks the glass of milk to prove Kunika’s innocence to Mishri. Kunika is trying to love you. Give her one chance. Kunika asks Mishri if she will accept the glass of milk from her now. Your Bapu is fine. Kunika mixes sleeping pills in the milk this time. Mishri drinks it. Kunika suggests Akhilesh to go to office. I will manage everything. He requests them not to fight while he is gone. I have a lot to do. She nods. She sends Vansh downstairs to collect her parcel.
Mishri tries calling her Mapu but starts feeling dizzy. She passes out on the bed. Kunika smiles. Sleep here peacefully while I take my revenge from your mom!
Vansh is headed upstairs as no parcel got delivered till now. Now Mishri and I will have a carom match. He hears some sound and gets curious. Vansh notices Kunika keeping Mishri in a suitcase. He fights with her to let Mishri go but Kunika vows to take revenge from Ira for what she did. She slaps him hard. He tries to stop her again but she hits him again. She picks his phone and closes the door from inside. I will throw her in water now! Vansh keeps the landline back in place. Ira calls just then. Vansh tells her everything. Ira tells him to shout to gather everyone’s attention but he reasons that no one is home. Ira decides to come over asap.
Akhilesh comes home upon Ira’s askance. Ira tells him about Kunika’s plan. He does not believe her but she requests him to trust her. She is taking out her anger on Mishri. Vansh has told me this. I am concerned about Mishri. She runs inside.
Devina and Kunika are pushing the suitcase together just when Ira and Akhilesh enter. All 4 of them look at each other. Ira says we caught them red handed. Devina asks Akhilesh why he is home so early. Ira says Mishri will be having trouble breathing. Devina and Kunika tell her she is mistaken but Ira does not buy. She also rebukes Devina for supporting someone like Kunika. She pushes Kunika aside and opens the suitcase. Kunika asks Ira why she doubts her. I told you there is nothing in that suitcase. Akhilesh tells her to let Ira check once. She will be satisfied. Ira and Akhilesh open the suitcase only to find it filled with old useless items. She tells Akhilesh to believe her but Devina tells her to shut up. I told you this box only has items to be discarded. Ira repeats she isn’t lying. Kunika did lock Mishri in the box. She tries to strangle Kunika. Akhilesh frees her. Pushpa asks Ira why she has come here. Ira replies that she came to save Mishri. Kunika says I told you there is nothing in this box. Ira tells her to stop lying. Vansh saw you keeping Mishri in the suitcase. You only told him that you are going to throw Mishri in water. Vansh seconds Ira. He tells them everything. Devina says Ir has brainwashed both the kids. She is also teaching Vansh how to lie. She asks him how he got out of the room if Kunika had locked him inside. Kunika plays the emotional card. I try to be Mishri’s mother but Ira is after my life! Ira warns her not to take Mishri’s name. I am warning you. If she even gets a scratch then! Mishri calls out to her.
Ira, Vansh and Pushpa run to Mishri. Ira asks her if she is fine. Kunika locked you in a suitcase right? Mishri denies. I was sleeping in Badi Ma’s room. Kunika cries that she said she dint do anything. Devina says I told you this plan will work. Flashback shows Kunika bringing Mishri to Pushpa’s room. Kunika and Devina keep her on the bed. Devina says Ira will be again proved a liar. It will just deepen the rift between Ira and the family. Ira tells Mishri to not be afraid. Vansh also tells her he saw it happening but Mishri denies. Akhilesh and Pushpa reprimand Ira for stooping so low. Kunika says I think you don’t want that Akhilesh and I should get married. I refuse to marry Akhilesh but stop this everyday drama! I wont spare you if anything happens to Mummy ji. She apologizes to Akhilesh.
I am going. She turns but Akhilesh holds her hand. You don’t have to go anywhere. I will end this problem once and for all today! He keeps a knife in Ira’s hand. Kill me with it instead of hurting me every day with something or other! Ira throws it away. Why would I try to harm you? You are misunderstanding me. I am only worried for Mishri. Pushpa asks her why she has no proof then. Why do you always fail? I have seen the world. I have understood that you don’t have anything substantial to say or do! Devina shows her the blank papers which she has signed. You gave custody to Akhilesh. Why do you come back to show your right on Mishri again and again? Akhilesh tries throwing her out of the door but then asks Ira to go herself because of Mishri. Ira agrees to go. If I get even a hint that Mishri is in trouble then I will come back. I don’t care how much you insult me. I can bear any amount of pain for her sake! She leaves. Mishri tells Akhilesh that Mapu was worried for her. She felt as if something was going to go wrong with me. Akhilesh replies that it dint happen. You were sleeping peacefully in Ma’s room. He also questions Vansh as to why he lied. I am sparing you guys this time. Don’t lie ever again. I have only got pain from your mother. I want you both to swear that you wont meet Ira! Mishri and Vansh give in for his sake. Akhilesh tells Mishri he is doing it for her happiness only. He hugs the kids. Kunika pretends to cry again. Pushpa tells her not to cry. I am sorry that you have to go through all this because of us. Don’t lose heart. Mishri looks unhappily at Kunika.
Vansh tells Mishri he dint lie. Khalnayika aunty locked you in a box and told me she was about to throw you into water. I tried waking you up but you were snoring. Mishri wonders if Kunika mixed something in her milk. Vansh says it is possible. We should call your mom and tell her this. Mishri tells him against it. I wont break the promise made to Bapu. Vansh tries to make her understand but she stays put. Neither of us will hurt Bapu now. Now everything is in Bajrang Bali’s hands. He knows what’s best for us.
Kunika keeps shedding fake tears in front of Pushpa. I don’t understand why Ira is after me. My morale is going down. Pushpa tells her not to worry. We are with you. Akhilesh receives a letter and is shocked. Ira wants to challenge him in the court for Mishri. Devina says why is she doing this when she handed over the custody to you willingly. Akhilesh shares that she has mentioned that she was forced to sign the papers. Pushpa decides to hire the best lawyer of city. We will defeat her. Akhilesh says it isn’t easy. In the eyes of court, a mother is more important for a kid than a father. Ira will prove it in the court that she has been taking care of Mishri since 10 years already. Court will support her only. Devina says she has crossed her limits. Pushpa refuses to let Mishri go with Ira. Akhilesh says there is only one way out here. I must marry Kunika asap! I will easily get Mishri’s custody if that happens. We can say that we can give her the love of both parents and shoulder her responsibilities. Devina and Kunika are thrilled with his idea. Kunika tells Akhilesh she is ready if this way they can secure their daughter Mishri’s future. I can do this much for you and Mummy ji atleast. Pushpa is touched with her words. When should the wedding happen? Akhilesh wants to marry today itself. Mishri hears it and is stunned. Today? Akhilesh tells her that he is going to fill the void she was feeling. I will marry Kunika today itself. Mishri looks at Kunika in shock. Pushpa tells Mishri not to be sad. This is for your own good. I am sure Kunika will take very good care of you just like your mother did. Mishri smiles. I am not disappointed Badi Amma. If Bapu and you are happy then so am I! Now Kunika looks confused. Pushpa hugs Mishri. Mishri looks at the temple. I will be happy with Bapu for his sake but I am leaving the responsibility of my happiness and dream on you only!
Pushpa thanks God for answering her prayers. I cannot believe that my son will get married today. Everyone is busy in decorating the house. Mishri orders the servant to make enough sweets for her. Don’t give many to Vansh or he will get cavities. Pushpa asks her what she will do as Mishri has taken charge of everything. Mishri assures her that she will not let her work in her presence. Go and get ready. Vansh asks Mishri how she can give up so easily but Mishri is a stickler of her promise. Bhavik comes and is surprised to see the decor. He asks Vansh and is shocked to know that Akhilesh is getting married today. Now only you can do something.
Akhilesh is impressed seeing Mishri helping Pundit ji with the ingredients. He tells her he is very happy to see her support him in his decision. Are you happy? She thinks she isn’t happy but she wont hurt him by telling this. She smiles in front of him. I am happy. Go and get ready like Varun Dhawan.
Akhilesh smiles. You like him? Mishri nods. Akhilesh goes to change. Kunika says you finally gave up, Mishri! Vansh calls her cheated. Your name is Khalnayika aunty. Mamu must not marry you! Kunika tells him it is too late. It is happening already. Poor Mishri is already busy in the wedding preps.
