Malishka reveals her madness to Mamta, telling her that their stories are similar. Malishka becomes furious at the thought of Rishi caring for Lakshmi despite everything that has happened. She wonders how he can be so shameless and decides to confront him. Meanwhile, Aanchal confronts Mamta and asks what is going on. Aanchal explains that Mukesh and Bhavna are her friends, but Mamta appears jealous of Bhavna. Mamta mocks Aanchal for overthinking and advises her not to risk her health by interfering in other people’s affairs. She tells Aanchal to return to her room and rest, but Aanchal is shocked by her audacity and orders her to leave the house.
Bhavna arrives, and Mamta immediately changes her attitude. Smiling, she tells Bhavna that she is leaving for her village that day and asks her not to misunderstand her. Meanwhile, Rishi tells Lakshmi that he made a mistake by leaving Neelam for her sake. He regrets that Lakshmi never remembers the good things he did for her and feels foolish for abandoning his family to stay with her. He believes Lakshmi changed him and made him go against his own mother.
Elsewhere, Shalu sees Aanchal and asks whether she is upset with her. Aanchal tells her to forget about it because the current situation is painful for her. She admits that she is heartbroken, but Shalu defends Lakshmi. Aanchal insists that she knew Neelam well and that Neelam never wronged anyone. She says Neelam always stood by what was right and even supported Lakshmi. Aanchal then asks what Lakshmi ever did for Neelam and blames her for taking both Virender and Neelam away from the family.
Shalu asks Aanchal not to blame Lakshmi when she is innocent. She explains that Lakshmi loved Virender as her own father and was happy to find a husband and a complete family in the Oberoi mansion. Mukesh says he has never thought about it because his destiny was written with Bhavna, and he is happy with his wife. He explains that he believes in fate and his stars.
Mukesh then expresses his sadness over Neelam’s death and wonders why nobody in the Oberoi family seems happy anymore. He feels there is something wrong between the family members, but when Mamta asks why he thinks so, he says he does not want to upset her and tells her to leave. Mamta insists that she wants to understand what is troubling him.
Mukesh explains that Rishi married Lakshmi for a particular reason but was initially in love with Malishka. However, he eventually fell in love with Lakshmi, and Malishka became consumed by anger and started creating problems for the couple. He praises Rishi and Lakshmi’s true love and describes their unusual love story as something that feels like a curse. Mamta then directly asks Mukesh whether he still loves her, leaving him shocked.

Kiran asks Shalu who suffered the most when Rishi married Lakshmi, and she defends Malishka, pointing out that Malishka was deeply affected by the marriage. Kiran dismisses Shalu’s explanation as meaningless and tells her to leave, sit quietly and come up with a new story because her statements contradict one another. She continues to rebuke Shalu, who accuses Kiran of already knowing the entire truth because she is Malishka’s mother. Shalu insists that Kiran is only pretending not to know and challenges her directly. Kiran responds by taunting her.
Meanwhile, Rishi sits beside the sleeping Lakshmi and looks at her lovingly despite his anger. He tells her that he always said she was beautiful, and he still believes she is. He praises her unique smile and admits that she is truly pretty. However, he becomes frustrated with himself because he cannot control his feelings for her. He hates her, yet he finds himself praising her again.
Rishi recalls believing that Lakshmi was a beautiful person with a golden heart and a pure soul. He now wonders whether he was wrong about her, accusing her of taking his parents away from him and killing his soul. He feels deeply hurt by everything that has happened between them. Lakshmi eventually wakes up and sees Rishi crying.
Elsewhere, Kiran continues threatening Shalu and warns her not to harm Malishka. She explains that Malishka has suffered enough and that Rishi has now returned to her life. Kiran warns that if Lakshmi or Shalu stands in the way of Malishka’s happiness, she will ruin both of them.
Shalu tells Kiran to behave like an elder and stop cursing others, saying that her threats only prove she is in the wrong. Shalu promises to uncover Malishka’s truth and expose her. She also declares that she will bring Lakshmi back to the Oberoi mansion and reveal the truth about both Kiran and Malishka. Shalu gives Kiran 48 hours, challenging her that she will expose them both within that time. She says she has a duty towards the Oberois and Lakshmi and gives Kiran a firm ultimatum.
Meanwhile, Mamta waits for Mukesh’s answer after asking whether he still loves her. Mukesh tells her that he does not. Mamta calls him a liar, but he explains that he cares for her as a friend and considers her part of his family. He respects her, but he has no romantic feelings for her.
Mamta insists that she came to the city for his sake, not for Bhavna, and claims that she only worries about him. Mukesh finally understands why she has been behaving this way. He apologises but tells her that her words will not change his decision. When Mamta asks what he means, he warns her not to threaten him.
Mukesh compares Mamta to Malishka and accuses her of trying to come between him and Bhavna. He asks her to stop because her actions are wrong and urges her to step back. He adds that he and Bhavna are not like Rishi and Lakshmi, who have made sacrifices for their love, and they cannot be expected to give up their relationship for someone else.
Mamta asks what will happen to her love, but Mukesh firmly tells her to stop talking about it. Meanwhile, Bhavna arrives in the kitchen and explains that she has come to see Mamta one last time. Mukesh tells her that he has packed food for Mamta. Mamta then leaves to attend to some work.
Bhavna asks Mukesh whether he has noticed a change in Mamta’s behaviour. He does not tell Bhavna about Mamta’s confession and instead asks her to relax and stop worrying.
Meanwhile, Rishi looks at Lakshmi and asks whether she is awake. Lakshmi tells him that she married him to help him overcome his Kundali Dosh. When he asks why she married him, Rishi assumes that any woman would have married him for his wealth and success. Lakshmi tells him that he still does not understand her real reason.
She reveals that she married him because she wanted a family. She considered the Oberois her own family and regarded Virender and Neelam as her parents. She found a life partner in Rishi, who was exactly the kind of man her father had wanted for her. Lakshmi explains that she felt fortunate to have Rishi and the Oberois in her life.
Lakshmi becomes emotional as she speaks about her bond with the Oberois. She says she lost Virender and could not be with him during his final moments because she was accused of killing him. Rishi responds by blaming her for Neelam’s death as well and refuses to forgive her. Lakshmi explains how difficult it is to live while carrying such a serious accusation.
Meanwhile, Malishka asks Mamta what has happened. Mamta reveals that Aanchal ordered her to leave the house immediately. Malishka tells her not to go anywhere and advises her to pretend to be unwell so that she can remain in the mansion.
Kiran arrives and informs Malishka about Shalu’s challenge. Malishka then asks Mamta to prepare tea for Kiran. Aanchal becomes irritated when she sees Mamta back in the house, but Mamta cleverly pretends to faint.
Aanchal immediately calls Mukesh and asks him to come and check on Mamta. Mukesh and Bhavna arrive, and Mukesh rushes Mamta to a room before leaving to call a doctor. Bhavna stays behind to look after her. Aanchal wonders what suddenly happened to Mamta and asks Bhavna whether she truly believes Mamta is a good person.
Bhavna says she does, although she is now confused about Mamta’s behaviour. Aanchal suspects that Mamta is listening to their conversation and believes she is perfectly fine but only pretending to be sick. She warns Bhavna to be careful, while Bhavna hopes that Mamta will prove Aanchal wrong.
Mamta eventually gets up and continues pretending to be unwell. Bhavna worries about her, but Mamta apologises and asks her not to misunderstand her. She explains that she has her own medicines and will take them to recover. However, Bhavna insists that Mamta should allow the doctor to examine her first.
