Dadi tells Preeta that she is a wonderful person and says that God has been unfair to her. Preeta replies that God must have a reason for everything that has happened to her. Meanwhile, Aarohi praises Nidhi for the way she reacted to Preeta. Nidhi admits that she does not understand why Preeta returned to the Luthra house. Aarohi reminds her that she threatened Preeta by bringing up Nidhi’s previous suicide attempt. Nidhi appreciates Aarohi’s help and declares that she will not take her own life for anyone. Instead, she will fight for her rights. Aarohi encourages Nidhi to continue her emotional act and make Dadi believe that she is the only person in the Luthra house who truly cares about her. Nidhi promises to give her best performance to win Dadi’s sympathy.

Dadi tells Preeta that she is feeling better, and Preeta makes her smile. Nidhi decides to apologize to Dadi and enters her room, only to be shocked to find Preeta there. She demands to know why Preeta has returned. Dadi asks Nidhi not to get angry and explains that Preeta came to treat her and has already made her feel better. However, Nidhi insists that she does not want to see Preeta in the Luthra house and orders her to leave. Preeta calmly tells her that she will leave after ten minutes.
Nidhi drags Preeta towards the door and declares that it is her house, so her decision must be final. Preeta asks what problem Nidhi has with her, and Nidhi bluntly replies that Preeta herself is the problem. Preeta questions how Nidhi can ignore Dadi’s pain when Dadi needs her help. Nidhi accuses Preeta of having a hidden motive for returning to the house. Kareena also scolds Preeta, insisting that the family can take care of Dadi without her. She orders Preeta to leave.
Preeta looks towards Rakhi, who is standing upstairs, but Nidhi warns her not to expect Rakhi to oppose her decision. Preeta explains that she knows she is a stranger to the Luthra family and has not returned to claim any rights because she does not consider the house hers. She only wants ten minutes to complete Dadi’s treatment and promises to leave once Dadi feels better. Nidhi questions whether Preeta has any self-respect and throws her out of the house. Rakhi watches in tears, while Kareena warns her not to go to Preeta. However, Rakhi goes to help Preeta stand and embraces her as the song “Maa Meri” plays in the background.
Nidhi is shocked that Rakhi has dared to oppose her. Rakhi reminds her that she is the daughter-in-law of the house and that Dadi was the one who brought her into the family, so she has every right to make decisions in the house. She scolds Nidhi for mistreating Preeta. Aarohi tries to interfere, but Rakhi reprimands her as well. Kareena insists that she has the authority to make decisions in the house, but Rakhi tells her that she is wrong and reminds her that everyone knows who Preeta is. Preeta asks them not to fight because of her, explaining that she feels a deep connection with the family.
Nidhi accuses Preeta of behaving as though nobody else cares about Dadi. Preeta clarifies that she is not trying to prove that she is the only person who cares about Dadi. She simply needs ten minutes to treat her. Dadi then complains that her family members do not care about her pain. Kareena offers to bring the best physiotherapist in the city, but Nidhi asks Dadi whom she wants to treat her. Dadi chooses Preeta and takes her inside. Aarohi tells Nidhi that the situation is an insult to them.
Meanwhile, Karan questions Mahesh about apologizing to Anshuman. Mahesh explains that they cannot afford to show pride in this situation because Shaurya is behind bars. He insists that he does not care about being insulted if it means helping Shaurya. Karan argues that they have done nothing wrong and promises to get Shaurya released from jail, assuring Mahesh that he will no longer need to apologize to anyone. Mahesh agrees not to apologize again.
Lawyer Mr Malkani arrives and informs them that he has obtained the CCTV footage. After reviewing it, he explains that Anshuman’s statement matches what is shown in the footage. Karan insists that he wants Shaurya released from jail at any cost, and Mr Malkani agrees to help him.
Back at the Luthra house, Preeta finishes treating Dadi and asks her to rest. Kritika and Rakhi thank Preeta for helping them. Preeta tells them that she feels as though they are her loved ones and that it seems she came to the city to take care of Dadi.
Nidhi complains to Kareena that she never expected Rakhi to behave that way. Kareena explains that Rakhi was worried about Dadi and reminds Nidhi that Preeta is the best physiotherapist for Dadi’s condition. She advises Nidhi not to overreact. Aarohi disagrees with Kareena, but Kareena assures Nidhi that she is still on her side and will always support her. She asks Nidhi to stop crying. Nidhi thanks Kareena for standing by her and warns that she will not be able to control herself if Preeta returns to the Luthra house again.
Later, Nidhi taunts Preeta for staying longer than the ten minutes she promised. Preeta explains that the treatment took time. Aarohi also makes sarcastic remarks towards her. Preeta then notices that Karan is calling her and asks Nidhi why she has a problem with her. Nidhi claims that Karan and Rajveer are connected because of Preeta. She accuses Preeta of being the reason Karan neglects his family and gives importance to her and Rajveer. Preeta asks whether that is the real reason behind Nidhi’s hostility. Nidhi notices Rakhi nearby, while Preeta answers Karan’s call and learns that he has spoken to a lawyer about Shaurya and that Rajveer has been discharged from the hospital. She leaves to see them.
Meanwhile, Rajveer thanks Karan for helping him but insists that Karan does not need to do anything more for him. Karan asks Rajveer and Palki to get into the car and helps Rajveer fasten his seat belt.
Later, Nidhi visits Shaurya at the police station. Shaurya asks why she has come, and Nidhi explains that she brought him food because she knows he will not like the food available outside and that the jail food is not good. Shaurya asks her to leave immediately because he does not want her to be seen there. Nidhi makes a remark in response, but Shaurya realizes that she will not leave without feeding him. He finally agrees to let her feed him, and Nidhi does so.
Meanwhile, Mahesh and Rakhi discuss the trouble Nidhi has been causing in the house. Rakhi believes that Nidhi thinks Karan is giving Rajveer more importance than Shaurya. Mahesh insists that Karan would never show such partiality and does not favour one person over another. Kareena joins the conversation and argues that Karan should prioritize Shaurya over Rajveer. She complains that Karan should be doing everything possible to get Shaurya released instead of spending time with Rajveer. Rakhi asks Kareena to stop thinking like Nidhi and form her own opinion. Kareena argues with Rakhi and Mahesh before walking away.
Karan brings Rajveer home, but Rajveer tells him that he no longer needs his help now that he has returned home and asks him to leave. When Rajveer nearly falls, Karan catches him and helps him to his room.
Meanwhile, Nidhi’s friend notices Kareena approaching Nidhi’s room and warns Nidhi to be careful. Nidhi then apologizes to Kareena for throwing Preeta out of the house without considering Dadi’s condition. Kareena tells Nidhi to relax because she understands that Nidhi cares about her mother. She then accuses Preeta of trying to enter the Luthra house and manipulate the family members one by one. Kareena warns Nidhi to be careful, declaring that the battle has already begun. Nidhi promises that she will win the battle no matter what happens.
Nidhi later calls Karan to find out what he is doing to secure Shaurya’s release.
Meanwhile, Rajveer thanks Karan for helping him and says goodbye. Preeta approaches Rajveer, while Karan asks her to take good care of him. Rajveer insists that he can take care of himself and again asks Karan to leave. Preeta tells Rajveer that he is wrong to treat Karan that way. Karan then answers Nidhi’s call and tells her that he is at Rajveer’s house because he brought him home from the hospital.
Preeta goes into the kitchen, and Karan follows her. He informs her that Rajdeep’s medicine is on the way. Preeta thanks him and asks him to leave so that he can take care of his own family.
Palki also tells Rajveer that he is wrong to behave that way towards Karan. Rajveer replies that he knows Karan better than anyone else. He believes Karan is only helping him because he took a bullet for him and insists that if any member of Karan’s family were in trouble, Karan would have left immediately to help them instead.
Karan asks Preeta why she is behaving that way towards him. Preeta reminds him that Shaurya is in jail, yet instead of staying with his son, Karan has chosen to spend time with Rajveer. She asks whether he loves Rajveer more than Shaurya. Karan asks Preeta which of her eyes is more important to her, and she replies that both are equally important. Karan explains that Shaurya and Rajveer are like his two eyes, and he loves them both.
He further reveals that he has hired the best lawyer in the city to defend Shaurya and has also gone to the judge to obtain the necessary papers. Karan explains that he cannot personally go to the judge because he is an ordinary man. He then asks Preeta never to question his love for his sons again.
