The Good Son on zee one Friday 7th April 2023 update, Manjula asks him to sit and says she will bring something for him to eat. Vedant asks her to bring something secretly, hiding from Babuji. He says I love you Maa…He tells that he loves his wife and she is looking se.. and will wear these clothes only. Purva asks him to be quiet. Vedant says I am silent since childhood, but will now speak. Ramesh shouts Gudadi lal. Vedant laughs and falls on his feet.

He says why you calls me Gudadi lal and says Dada ji brought me from Gudadi many years ago, and asks if he never loved him a bit. He says I am very thankful to God that he gave me Dadi and I never forget from where I came, and I get strength with this name. He picks a plate of color and pours on Ramesh’s head. He sings Rang Barse and dances. Ramesh gets angry and slaps Vedant. Vedant falls. Purva and Sanju hold him. Ramesh asks him to stop and says I will break your mouth if you utter a word. Vedant asks him to break his mouth, but be happy as today is holi. Ramesh is about to slap him again, when Purva comes and holds Ramesh’s hand.
Ramesh telling that he will break Vedant’s face and is about to slap him, when Purva holds his hand. Ramesh says you will repent for this? Purva says you have done wrong. Ramesh taunts her for her doings. Vedant asks Ramesh to talk to them nicely. Ramesh calls his blood as bad. Dadi asks Ramesh to stop the drama else see her dead face. Ramesh goes from there. Purva brings Vedant home. She asks him to be quiet and takes him to bathroom. She puts water on his head to make him get out of the bhang effect. Vedant says everyone is moving round. He hugs her and thanks for being with him. He asks if she will be with him always. Purva always. He says Babu ji never accepted me and asks why do he hate me. Purva says Ramesh is sure that you will love him always and asks him to break his
illusion. Vedant says I am thinking if you will allow me to kiss you. Purva says you can kiss me with the right, but now she will slap him, and tells that first kiss is special and they both shall remember it. She is about to go to bring a towel and the shower tap gets opened by her hand. Vedant holds her closer while they are under the shower. Dekha Hazaron Dafa plays…..He falls on her. Sanju comes to Vedant’s room and hear noise coming from bathroom. He sees Vedant fallen on Purva in the bathroom and smiles. He goes and comes to Pankhudi. He applies color to Pankhudi’s face and tells that his heart is dancing seeing bhai and bhabhi’s bathroom romance. He asks her to agree soon. Purva asks Vedant to sit and goes to make tea for him. Sanju stops Pankhudi and asks her to agree. Purva sees Pankhudi going and looks at Sanju. Pankhudi comes to room and thinks she has to stop their romance and says this is wrong. Purva comes and asks what is wrong? She asks if Sanju was troubling her. Pankhudi says she was thinking about Vedant and tells that bad thing happened with him. Purva says she is with him and asks her to take care.
Pankhudi takes out her jewellery and throws on bed. She says you are my trouble and says sorry. She says you have to move from Vedant and my way. She acts crazy. Dadi comes to Vedant and teases him. He says don’t know who made me eat something. Dadi says that person did good. Vedant says don’t know what Purva wants to hear and tells that 2 days were wasted. Dadi says love just happens in 7 seconds. She tells that once Dada ji had bhang and was on bed like him. She makes him eat Pan. She asks Purva to handle Vedant with love. Sumiti dances after having bhang. Gomti asks Dadi to scold her being her saas. Dadi asks Sumiti to sing other song. She tells Gomti that she can make Sumiti do anything today. She asks her to be happy.
Purva shows the video to Vedant. Vedant asks did I say something bad? Purva says you was just expressing your feelings for the first time and tells that she is proud of him. Vedant asks will you come on a date with you. Purva says surely and asks him to apologize to Babu ji and others. Vedant goes to Narendra’s room and sees him massaging Sumiti’s legs. He says Purva’s tea will work. Narendra says no, let Sumiti sleep. Vedant and Purva come to Gomti’s room. Gomti panics seeing them as she is reading romantic book. He asks if she is fine? Gomti says yes, and asks them to go. Vedant comes to Ramesh’s room. Ramesh says I don’t like to see you here. Vedant says I know, but I came here to apologize. He says I had drank something wrong. Ramesh says you was doing that intentionally and asks if Purva brought him here. Vedant says yes and tells sorry again. Ramesh asks Manjula to bring water for him. He then asks Purva to leave as well. Purva touches Ramesh’s feet and tells that Vedant bend down infront of you on my sayings, and can get against you too. She asks him to respect him and don’t behave badly with him. Ramesh looks on.
Vedant asking Purva if date plan is sure. Purva asks can you take me? He asks her to come to hospital and picked him at 6:30 pm. Purva says she will reach there at 6 pm and asks him not to get late. Vedant says ok and comes near her. Aaj phir tumpe plays…..He comes near her and is about to kiss her, but takes pillow and goes. He asks her to sleep. They rest on the bed. Vedant smiles…Purva feels shy. Pankhudi thinks of Purva telling that she is still vedant’s wife and he is romantic and caring, and she feels that she will stay happy with him. She gets restless and peeps in their bedroom. She sees them sleeping on bed, and Purva keeping her hand on his hand. She says she can’t bear anymore now.
In the morning, Purva wakes up hearing the alarm sound and finds the chit
on the mirror lef by Vedant that he can’t wait for their first date. She smiles and finds another chit with a dress. She gets message from him asking her to tell about her feelings. Purva thinks how will be the date and greets him good morning. Pankhudi comes there and asks about 2000 change. She reads the chits. Purva gives her money. Pankhudi leaves.
In the hospital, Vedant orders red roses. A Patient is brought by her husband. Vedant checks the pregnant woman and asks Dr. Rashmi to make arrangements in OT. Sumiti asks Narendra why did he make her drink bhang. Narendra says I stopped you from drinking more. Purva receives the letter sent by Vedant and waits for the clock to strike 6 pm. Vedant operates on the patient and tells Mr. Jha that baby girl is born. Vedant and Rashmi go. Pankhudi pretends to talk to Vedant on call and tell that everything went well although he is under the bhang effect. Mr. Jha hears and gets angry. Pankhudi tells that all went well, although he was tensed. She thinks she had to lie to be with him. She recalls Vedant telling that he detox himself and took the tests, and wouldn’t have operate if he was drowsy. She thinks their date is spoiled now. Purva is waiting for Vedant. Some men come and give her flowers on Vedant’s behalf. Vedant comes there and gives her flower for their first date.
He brings her to the decorated terrace with flowers. She gets surprised and asks if he did all the arrangements, and says I didn’t know you are so romantic. Vedant says whenever I look in the sky, I feel the hope. He says he says he will see sunrise with her. Purva says we will be here all night. Vedant says yes and tells that he will play childhood games with her. Purva asks if he didn’t play in their childhood. Vedant says I didn’t live my childhood. Purva says even I didn’t. Vedant says lets become children for sometime. They play carrom. Waiters bring food. They have food. Vedant makes her wear ring. Jogi hona plays……Vedant makes painting. Purva applies color to his cheeks. He runs behind her. She stumbles and gets her foot twisted. Vedant kisses on her foot surprising her.
Purva smiles and runs. He runs behind her. They become playful and jovial living their missed childhood moments. They lie on the bed. She asks him if he thinks of his real family.
Vedant gets teary eyes and says sometimes I couldn’t cry, and says he wanted to hug his mother and cry, and then used to think about Manjula who couldn’t hug him due to Ramesh. He says I always yearn for Ramesh’s love. Purva tells that she got her parents’ love and then it was snatched. She says she was very small when mom and dad died.
