Kusum explains that after Kumud’s marriage was called off, Naveen’s father ended their relationship too, and they hadn’t met since. She kept quiet to avoid troubling her parents, never expecting to see him here. Kusum insists that she can bear anything except her sister’s insult, and everyone looks at her in shock.

Kusum urges Budhidhan to ask Saras about the situation. Budhidhan turns to Saras, who reflects on Vidyachatur’s words and his promise to Kumud. Before Kumud can speak, Saras admits the truth. He tries to stop Kumud from saying anything further, stating she won’t have to bear anything because of him.
Kalika is taken aback, while Murakh Das supports Kusum, recalling seeing her and Naveen together. Saras confirms that he gifted Kumud the kamarbandh, apologizing to Budhidhan for not sharing the truth sooner. Budhidhan expresses regret for the situation, scolding Pramad for his actions, which led to public embarrassment. Pramad storms off in anger, and Kalika apologizes, touching Kumud’s feet as a sign of regret before leaving. Pramad’s mother embraces Kumud, while Kusum apologizes to her as well.
Later, Budhidhan is angry and wishes to expel Pramad from the house. Alak shares her frustration, saying Pramad shouldn’t have doubted his wife. Budhidhan agrees that Pramad acted foolishly and expresses disappointment in his actions. Kumud, feeling overwhelmed, breaks down, admitting she can’t move forward with her relationship based on lies. Meanwhile, Badimaa and Guniyal discuss selling their jewelry to raise funds for the workers on strike, who demand payment. Badimaa insists on this plan, while Chandrika contributes her bangles as well. After receiving unexpected news that the workers have been paid, the women discuss the situation.
Kalika, feeling guilty, seeks forgiveness from Pramad’s mother and is eventually forgiven. She approaches Kumud, asking for her help to restore Kusum and Naveen’s relationship. Kumud agrees to help, wanting to mend the rift.
As tension rises, Saras confronts Pramad on the road, questioning his reckless behavior. Pramad brushes off the laws, claiming his father’s status protects him.
