Raja comes to his room and finds Bindu’s clothes. She walks out draped in bathrobe.
There, Rani was walking down the corridor, thinking about Raja’s requests for her.
Raja hands Bindu her clothes, but she stops him asking why he wants her to go away after having kissed her. She stands close to Raja and drags him on the door. Rani had walked to the room, she breaks a vase on door in shock and runs away. Raja stops her, Rani says she has understood what she had to, these relations mean different for them. He must let her go away right now, when he realize the peace in this relation he must come to pick her up. Kaal and Bari Rani Maa come to question what are they doing, Rani replies she isn’t breaking any relation. She will be tied in it, but is just setting her husband free.
Amrita comes there and tell Rani she is right, whatever Raja did wasn’t in his will. This is in his genes not to consider his wife as a companion, but a slave girl. Raja’s ailment is a chronic one, she allows Rani to leave and only return when she think she would get respect in this house. Rani hugs Amrita, then tells Raja she is unaware what made Raja away from their relation. She takes her mangal sooter off and hands it to Raja, this is her life that she is leaving to him, when he is ready to respect it he must bring it to her; till then she can’t stay in this house.
In her way back, Rani thinks that she won’t be able to lie to Raaj Mata and she won’t be able to bear the truth, wondering where she should go. She walks towards some bushes and notices a veiled man presence. She walks consciously but loses her balance. The veiled man jumps the wall, Rani was afraid and run away, into the college. She enters Meenu’s room, and tell her someone is stalking her. Meenu check outside saying no one is there. Raja stood outside the door, thinking he wanted Rani to reach some safe place that’s why he let her in fear. Meenu questions Rani how Raja even let her come here at this time. Rani requests Meenu not to question her about anything. Meenu goes to get water.
In the palace, Kaal slaps Amrita whose forehead hit a table. Kaal blames Amrita for not being able to control Rani, he wonder what he must do to her now. Bari Rani Maa comes to save Amrita. Amrita replies that Kaal isn’t a Maharaaj, people must consider him as prince but she has seen that wild animal who can still not respect a woman. He kept her a slave for thirty years, but now she won’t let this happen to her daughter, her daughter in law. Whatever they did to her mother, she won’t let it happen to Rani anymore. She walks inside.
Raja and Rani were upset separately. Raja hurries towards the window, knocks at it then put the mangal sooter around Rani’s neck. He had been day dreaming, as he stood outside in the corridor holding the mangal sooter in his hands. Meenu watch Raja there, and comes to speak to Rani about it. Rani didn’t want to discuss about Raja. Rani says right now she wants to focus on her exams, tears fell over her book.
In the palace, Raja lay his head on Amrita’s lap saying he wanted to let Rani be strong enough to stand on her own foot, she must be courageous to face life alone. He has done it, Rani has moved away from him. He lost even after winning. Amrita says neither he wants to stay with Rani, nor he can’t stay away from her. She takes his promise to always respect his wife, and not walk on the footsteps of his father. Raja says he can’t promise her anything, in order to turn gold must burn in fire to be turned strong.
The next morning, Rani gets ready and feels the absence of her mangal sooter. In the exam hall, Jeewan comes to sit besides her saying he only cares for her. Rani doesn’t want to speak to him. Gayatri’s attendance was being called, Raja calls from the door to call her Mrs. Gayatri Rajveer Rana. He walks to Jeewan, reminding she is his sister in law, he must sit away from her. Jeewan leaves the seat, Raja sits with Rani. The teacher inquires why he is late. Raja says when a newlywed bride would begin staying in hostel, the husband would spend nights counting stars. The class laugh. Rani heads to walk towards another chair, Raja calls her if she would even walk away at night. Rani leaves the classroom, Raja follows her.
Rani brings Raja into another room, she asks what this new drama is about. Raja says in their country husband and wife speak to each other this way. He reminds she is still his wife, thus has put sindoor. She can’t change the truth that their names have been connected forever. Rani turns to leave, Raja drags her behind holding her close to himself. Rani demands what he wants, Raja replies she. He wants her to accept she is nothing without him, and come back to him. Rani pushes him away, calling him selfish and stone headed; who can only think like this. He promised her to keep her happy, but he kissed Lovey in front of her. Now he wants her back, how can only one person’s wish be a priority in a marriage? What about her wishes and feelings? Raja inquires what she wants, since they married her always consider his happiness to be important. Raja boasts what else Rani has in her life, if she ever wanted something for herself? If she ever felt something else, then loving her.
Rani wipes her tears, accepting she lost herself in their love, she will now think about herself. She is aware what she wants, she and her Dadu have worked hard to reach here. She came here on scholarship, scholarship students doesn’t leave pre-liminary exams. She committed one mistake but won’t repeat it. She will focus on her exams for the next fifteen days. Raja asks if she would return home after fifteen days. Rani keeps a condition to know about the truth, why he kissed Lovey, what’s hurting him inside out, what’s the secret he has been hiding since the day of wedding. Raja promises that after 15 days, right after their exams end he would tell her about the truth. They cross paths to move opposite ways.
Raja demands Kaal and Bari Rani Maa to name his property after Rani in next fifteen days, warning if they fail they won’t be left with any respect and ego. Kaal was enraged.
In the college next day, Rani hear songs being played around her. She looks around to find Raja playing guitar, gathered by girls. Rani moves forward, Raja runs to stop her way saying he has some work. Rani moves away, cursing herself that Raja doesn’t do anything for her, she has to study for next fifteen days for sure.
Kaal tells Bari Rani maa that now Rani’s story is going to end, they will send her to her parents. Bari Rani Maa warns her about fear of losing his elections.
Amrita asks Bari Rani Maa not to hurry Raaj Mata anymore, Bari Rani Maa asks her to stay silent, else Kaal would kill them both. Raaj Mata gets drink for them. Amrita wonders what new game Bari Rani Maa is going to play.
Raja stood at the door of classroom, flirting girls around. He takes a seat beside Rani, and speaks to his friend he is missing the food of café. Rani asks Meenu to exchange seats with her, she wants to stay away from Raja.
Bari Rani Maa cries in front of Raaj Mata that there were few misunderstandings taking Bindu between Raja and Rani. Raja’s respect is at stake because Rani left the house. Amrita says she understands Rani has a motif, still if their misunderstanding doesn’t clarify it would break their relation.
A few boys try to harass Rani
coming out of the college. Raja watches Rani beating the boys. Raja boasts this isn’t his Rani, this is a only daughter of Rana Indravadhan Singh Dev and Rani Gayatri Singh. Raja comes to Rani and takes her to drop her till her room, holding her hand. Rani loses her balance and gets close to Raja. The peon comes to inform Rani she is being called at office.
In the office, warden was scolding Meenu and a friend that Gayatri is out of hostel. Rani enters with Raja, the warden scolds her for breaking the rules here, and the main gate is shut at 6 still she is wandering with her husband. Rani assures it won’t happen again. Then warns her before leaving. Raaj Mata comes to hostel and asks Rani to go back to house. Raja explains to Dadu that they are spouses, there are no differences between them but he asked her to stay at hostel till their exams.
Raaj Mata was proud about their decision, she informs Amrita and Bari Rani Maa about going there. Rani feels bad about blaming Raja. Raja thinks he is aware about her concerns, and assures Raaj Mata to speak to her. He then tells Rani to go upstairs, he would drop Raaj Mata home. Rani takes a leave from Raaj Mata, who blesses her.
In the palace, Kaal slaps Amrita wondering where Rani is. He curses her. Bari Rani Maa tries to calm him, and asks him to let her handle. Kaal tells Bari Rani Maa she isn’t able to handle this, this was the reason she had come to him for killing Rana ji and Gayatri. He no more needs Bari Rani Maa and would take any action by himself.
Rani writes his diary that he fears telling Rani about the truth, he didn’t want her to tell on wedding stage that he is the son of Kaal who killed her parents…. He got weepy and couldn’t write anymore, sipping from his bottle. Rani comes there, and questions why he is drinking. Raja says he doesn’t want her to love him so much, he doesn’t want her to break when she come to know about the truth. Rani assures love is the courage that strengthens any relation. She hugs him, Raja hugs her back in his day dream, then drinks more.
In the room, Rani was frustrated she can’t do. She share with Meenu that because of Raja she lost her preliminary exam and today she has been unable to concentrate because of him.
Meenu tells Rani that Raja was here the night she had come here, he is trying to make up. Rani shares she saw Raja kissing Bindu, then Bindu was with Raja in towel in her bed room. Meenu was determined to teach Bindu a lesson, Rani objected that this doesn’t seem right. Meenu was determined to break Bindu’s pride no matter what. She leaves Rani to guard.
