Akshara notices Abhimanyu shivering from the cold and lights a bonfire to keep him warm. Meanwhile, Manjiri tells Arohi that Ruhi heard Akshara’s song. She asks whether Arohi is not worried that Akshara has re-entered her life through Ruhi. Manjiri wonders how Arohi can remain so calm. Arohi assures her that Akshara has gone too far away from their lives and cannot return. She adds that Akshara cannot come back into their lives or Ruhi’s life with her poppy, which is why she is not worried.

The next morning, Abhir notices Abhimanyu’s drawing and appreciates it. He wishes Abhimanyu good morning and calls him his princess. Abhir asks whether his princess is as smart as him. Abhimanyu then wakes up and decides to check on Abhinav. Meanwhile, Abhinav regains consciousness and calls out Akshara and Abhir’s names.
Ruhi continues singing Akshara’s song, but Arohi asks her to sing something else. Ruhi says she likes the song and wants to hear more songs from the same singer. She asks Arohi who the singer is, but Arohi tells her to stop singing for Manjiri’s sake. Ruhi agrees.
Abhinav tells Akshara and Abhimanyu that they can no longer hide anything from him. Both of them are stunned. He explains that their eyes show that they stayed awake the whole night worrying about him. Abhimanyu says that he managed to sleep, but Akshara did not. Akshara scolds Abhinav for being careless, but he smiles. Abhinav then thanks Abhimanyu for treating him so quickly and tells him that Akshara is a strong woman.
Akshara asks Abhimanyu how much he wants for his treatment, but he refuses to accept any payment because he does not take money after building a relationship with someone. He tells Abhinav that he considers him a friend, and Abhinav is happy to hear this.
Abhimanyu informs Abhinav that he is leaving for Udaipur. Abhir mentions that Manish also comes from Udaipur, and Abhinav points out that the world is a small place because Akshara’s maternal home is also there. Abhir happily says that they will visit Abhimanyu if they ever travel to Udaipur. Abhimanyu prepares to leave but refuses to accept any payment. Abhinav thanks him for taking care of his family in his absence and asks him to take a photograph with them as a memory. Abhir also insists that they take a picture together.
Abhimanyu, Akshara, Abhinav and Abhir take a family photograph before Abhimanyu says goodbye. Akshara gives him some bottles of jam as a gift. Before leaving, Abhimanyu apologises to Akshara for accusing her of being responsible for Sirat’s death. He admits that even when someone is angry, they should never cross certain limits. He explains that although he has many complaints against her, accusing her of Sirat’s death was too much. Akshara is left stunned by his apology, while Abhir also bids him goodbye.
As Abhimanyu drives away, Akshara runs behind his car. Meanwhile, Abhimanyu remembers his time in Kasauli, including the moment Akshara asked him to stay away from her family and Abhir. He suddenly develops a severe headache and asks the driver to stop the car. The driver decides to get some medicine for him.
Back at home, Abhir asks Abhinav to get the family photograph printed because he wants to use it for a school project. While looking at the picture, Abhinav notices that Akshara was right about Abhimanyu’s name being shortened to Abhi. He studies the photograph and starts connecting the dots, eventually realising Abhimanyu’s true identity.
Meanwhile, Akshara approaches Abhimanyu and asks whether there is anything else he wants to say. Abhimanyu asks if she has something left to discuss. Akshara tells him that although he has apologised, their conversation is not over.
Abhinav goes outside searching for Akshara in the cold. Abhir asks him to email the photographs, while Muskaan becomes worried about Abhinav. When Abhinav continues searching for Akshara, Muskaan decides to look for her too. However, Abhinav stops her and goes ahead himself.
Akshara finally confronts Abhimanyu and apologises for not accepting his apology. She explains that he cannot always have the last word in every situation. Akshara says she accepted all his accusations and even the divorce, but she will never accept his apology. She expresses her anger at him for failing to understand that she also suffered the same pain he did. She reminds him that despite her repeated calls, he refused to listen to her even once. Akshara believes that he is apologising only because he feels guilty, but she refuses to free him from that guilt. Abhimanyu is left stunned as she tells him to return with his guilt and never come back because she now has other responsibilities to take care of.
Meanwhile, Abhinav begins to understand the connection between Akshara and Abhimanyu. He sits in shock as he realises the truth. Abhimanyu gives the jam bottles to the car driver, but two of them accidentally slip into his bag.
Akshara thinks about Abhimanyu’s apology and feels that he wants to cover up six years of pain with just one sorry. Abhinav eventually returns home and tells Akshara that he wants to talk to her. She asks him to discuss it later, but Abhinav insists that he wants to speak with her immediately.
Abhinav finally asks Akshara whether Abhimanyu is her ex-husband. Akshara wonders whether he is upset after discovering the truth, but Abhinav assures her that he is not. Akshara then reveals that Abhimanyu is actually her husband and apologises for not telling him the truth earlier.
Abhinav asks her to sit with him so they can discuss everything. Akshara explains why she kept the truth from him, saying that seeing Abhimanyu again brought back painful memories from her past.
