Swarna comes palace happily. Lakhan jumps the palace’s wall, he spots her car and thinks Bari Rani Maa hasn’t left yet, still he can’t leave without meeting his Bindu. Rani comes to Bari Rani Maa then, telling her about Jeewan’s progress in studies. Lakhan was shocked. Bari Rani Maa appreciates her and promises a gift for this. Rani asks her to remember her promise about helping her grandmother.

Lakhan thinks about his promise to Raaj Mata. Bari Rani Maa leaves, Swarna comes to the door awaiting Lakhan and calls Bindu. Lakhan holds Rani and runs outside. Swarna was worried why Lakhan didn’t come to meet her, she must inquire if everything is fine at his home. She wonders how she should leave Bindu alone.
Lakhan scolds Rani for lying to them. Rani tells Lakhan she doesn’t want to lose her grandmother. She narrates him everything, from Swarna’s promise to her confrontations with Kaal and Bari Rani Maa’s challenges. Lakhan holds her head. Rani says Bari Rani Maa came out to be a real witch, she took all her money.
Lakhan shouts who asked her to go to palace, she must never go there again. Rani argues what about her money. Lakhan slaps Rani, forbidding her talk about it again. Raaj Mata comes to defend Rani and asks how dare he held a hand over Rani. Lakhan thinks Raaj Mata won’t be able to bear the truth that Rani was so close to Bari Rani Maa. Raaj Mata asks Rani, Lakhan forbids Rani say a word. They would leave this place in next four days, and in these days she won’t leave this house. Rani runs inside. Lakhan thinks Swarna kept on looking his way today, how he will meet them now. Raaj Mata thinks Lakhan is hiding something, she would ask Rani about it tomorrow.
The next morning, Rani asks Lakhan why he is upset when the mistake was hers. Lakhan says her was not deliberate, but he held hand over her deliberately. He joins hands to her not to ask questions, but she can’t go to palace no matter what happens. There is a knock at the door, Lakhan asks her to open the door.
The guards come home with a doctor. The doctor asks Rani about her grandmother, Bari Rani Maa sent them for her treatment. Lakhan hides himself and tells Rani to send them away. Rani makes up that she is away for three to four days. Lakhan asks Rani why these guards came. Rani tells him the whole story about Bari Rani Maa’s promise. Lakhan says Bari Rani Maa is again trying to be nice, she wants to repeat the story. Lakhan asks Rani what will happen if she doesn’t go to palace. Rani qualifies she would come here searching for him.
Lakhan thinks Bari Rani Maa is still unaware whose daughter Rani is, if someone from palace comes here they would know. He can’t let Rani’s truth disclose at them. Rani calls him and demands what he is thinking about. Lakhan says Rani would go to palace, until they get a chance to leave this place, she must not say anything from anyone in the palace. Rani demands how she can be silent. Rani asks why? Lakhan orders her, and takes her promise over his head not to answer anyone or argue; else her Baba would die just the way her mom did. Rani swears not to speak to anyone there. Rani now takes his hands over her head, not to leave anywhere.
Raja tells the guard he won’t eat anything until Rani comes. The guard asks if a prince would leave food for a servant, what if Bari Rani Maa comes to know about it. Amrita stands in window. Raja breaks the glass on floor and asks the guard to go and complain Bari Rani Maa, he doesn’t care. He come out and confronts Rani. He says if she has accepted her defeat that is why she is speechless. Rani doesn’t say a word, but thinks she can’t bear standing in front of him. He calls her stubborn. Bindu asks whom is he calling stubborn. Raja says there is one, why talk about her.
Raja asks Bindu about her birthday party, he calls friends to be betrayer. Rani turns around to look at Raja. Raja says betrays are when people look towards others leaving their friends. Rani was cooking bread in kitchen, she burns her hand and thinks she wants to cry but can’t go to anyone. Raja is angry pointlessly, but she can’t get a chance to turn him and Jeewan into friends.
Amrita drags Raja into a room. Raja asks why she is doing this to him? Amrita says he has proven today that he is Kaal’s son, then why is she doing this to Rani, her friend? Raja tells Amrita that Rani made friends with Jeewan.
Amrita explains to Raja that Rani only became friend with Jeewan but didn’t tease him at all, then why he teased Rani by making her upset. Raja hugs Amrita saying he doesn’t want to be like Kaal. Amrita asks him to go and apologize Rani. He runs away to apologize. Bari Rani Maa comes inside saying Kaal is right, she can’t turn Raja to a prince. Amrita says she can make him a good man, its more important for her than her son becoming a prince.
Raja comes to kitchen and gives a Kerry to Rani. She cheers. He wears a lose shirt and tries to cheer her by dancing inside it. She still doesn’t speak anything. He helps her with kneading of flour. Raja was curt at her not replying anymore. He tells Rani that not only she gets angry, he also in enraged. A servant comes to kitchen and asks Rani what she has been up to, he scolds her for burning a bread. Rani was worried.
Bari Rani Maa inquires Bindu what is Swarna presenting her.
Who is coming to meet her? Swarna comes then and scolds Bindu to go to her room. Bari Rani Maa demands why she is so angry at a little matter, it wasn’t Bindu’s mistake. She brought her here to ask who was about to come here? Is it someone special she wants to invite? She judge from her face as if she caught her theft. Bari Rani Maa says it feels as if Swarna is somewhere else and her mind is wandering somewhere else. She asks where she went in morning. Swarna replies that she went to Gods, those who live among devil have to go outside to pray. Bari Rani Maa thinks she must keep an eye on Swarna as well.
Raja holds Rani’s hand in the corridor, he warns her to shut in a room if she doesn’t speak anymore. Rani was afraid of being locked once before as well. He says sorry again and demands her to say she accepted it. Rani was upset thinking she has accepted his apology but can’t speak. Raja bolts Rani inside a room.
He tells her it won’t open until she speaks. Rani comes inside the room, she hits a log and shouts in fear. Raja was concerned and hurries inside. Rani lay on the ground, Bari Rani Maa stands above. Raja apologizes Bari Rani Maa, he is aware that Rani is fearful of being in the room. She was angry at him. Bari Rani Maa asks Raja to leave her for a while, she would talk to Rani. Raja leaves the room. Rani sits up, calling Raja back by the action of her hand.
Bari Rani Maa asks Rani to come to her and asks if she is so angry with Raja that she isn’t taking his name, if she has a tongue or it fell in her stomach. Rani shows her tongue, then thinks she can’t speak. She denies speaking, Bari Rani Maa asks if she has kept a Monvrat? Rani nods. Bari Rani Maa asks really and was upset at the confirmation. Rani takes a notebook and writes for Bari Rani Maa that her Baba swear her not to speak to anyone in the palace. Rani asks her to tell this to Raja as well. Bari Rani Maa tears the paper into pieces and forbids her to write in Monvrat. Rani agrees. Bari Rani Maa assures she would explain Raja about the matter.
Raja keeps on calling Rani, Bari Rani Maa tells Raja in a sad way that you cannot change people. Rani would go where she would get the most cheese. She needed his help so she became friends with him, now he doesn’t have money box and Jeewan has; so Rani has become friends with him. Rani is a friend of money. She consoles and hugs Raja who begin to cry.
Raja calls Bari Rani Maa to be a liar, Rani isn’t a greedy and selfish girl. He leaves without listening to her. Bari Rani Maa throws away a vase in rage. The servant hears Bari Rani Maa saying Raja has to be her side, she will give him proof against Rani. Bari Rani Maa calls the servant and asks if he heard something and sends a guard to cut his tongue.
Raja thinks about Rani doing so much for the servant’s salary, she had even given her beloved thing to Raja for money. Raja wonders there is definitely something else. Bari Rani Maa brings Rani some dresses as gift to be a part of Bindu’s birthday celebration. She must appear to be Raja’s best friend and a part of this family.
