Rani thinks about Raaj Mata, she cries and calls Raaj Mata as her friend, sister, mother and everyone. She says she began coughing and blood came out of her mouth, the doctor advised them to get her treated as soon as possible.

She listens to everything Raaj Mata says, but her Baba was injured so she took a job in the palace. Now Bari Rani Maa has kept a condition in front of her, she turns to the servants and say either they will get their salary or she can.
Raaj Mata’s condition worsen at home, Lakhan goes to get water but she faints. Lakhan goes to call the doctor.
Bari Rani Maa gives Rani a greed of money, if death comes to her grandmother she will never come back. Rani comes to spread her hands for money, Bari Rani Maa hands the money to her. She then asks the servants if they had been following Rani, she lost and Bari Rani Maa won; now they must not come to her confrontation. Rani keeps all the money back in Bari Rani Maa’s hands. She says she has to save her dadi, and those who are liable have to be strong. Taking this money is a disrespect of her Baba and grandmother; snatching other’s break is a cat’s job not a mice and runs out. Raja sadly says he didn’t expect this from Bari Rani Maa.
The doctor scolds Lakhan if Raaj Mata stays upset in the same way, nothing can save her. Rani comes home then, doctor leaves. She tells Lakhan she is fine, why he called the doctor. Lakhan had been crying. Rani asks where dadu is and runs to her. Raaj Mata sends her away from her. Rani inquires what happened. Raaj Mata coughs badly. Rani pleads Lakhan to save Raaj Mata and send her to the mountain hospital, she wonders if Raaj Mata didn’t get the first prize. Lakhan says sometimes we lose everything even after victory. She thinks about Palace’s incident as well.
Lakhan was packing clothes in a trunk, Rani asks where they are leaving their house. Lakhan scolds her to go away. They head Kaali Prasad bark. Raja stood outside and takes her along to a swing. She asks why he brought her here. Raja says if he came inside, everyone would know he is a Prince. She wants to tell him something, but Raja asks her to shut her eyes first. He got a magic to get away all the problems. He hands her a pouch full of money. Rani wonders where he got this money. Raja boasts it’s for him, his pocket money. He says he was collecting it for two years, but she needs them direly. Rani hands the money back, as her dadu forbids her taking anything. Raja says it’s a help, they gave him so much love when he came to her home. Raja and Rani are always one. They play with each other on the swing.
Lakhan questions Rani where this money came from? Rani says she worked after school, she worked at the home of her friend. Lakhan shouts if she begged them. Rani says she didn’t beg. She worked there, he is ill and Raaj mata is ill; someone had to work that is why she couldn’t tell him and narrates the whole story. Lakhan kisses her hands and caress her. He promises Rani they will pay all this money as debt. She must not be worried, he will go to Nari Niketan and will get the prize money of Raaj Mata.
The next morning, Kokilla tells Bari Rani Maa and Rajeshwari that Rani won’t win. She got a raise in everyone’s salary, but of no used. They laugh that now she will have to beg. Raaj Mata sits up worried for Rani. She cries in apology from Lakhan that she hid Swarna being alive from him. This news will spread the palace. She spoilt his love in order to save her daughter in law. The hear a dog barking and brings Kaali Prasad in the palace and to the feet of Bari Rani Maa. Rajeshwari and Kokilla were already afraid.
Rani tells Bari Rani Maa to ask him politely and Kaali Prasad would stop barking. Rani asks about Raja. Bari Rani Maa says he won’t meet her. Raja comes there excited to see Rani and Kaali Prasad. Rani tells Raja that she is giving Kaali Prasad to him, he is her most beloved being as a mortgage. Rani advices Kaali Prasad not to get worried, and not let anyone tease Raja at all. She asks Raja to take care of Kaali Prasad, she is going out with Lakhan and Raaj Mata but would soon return with money. Raja confirms if she is leaving Amirkot? Rani nods.
Raja was worried how she can leave her. Rani assures she isn’t leaving for always, they would soon return when Raaj Mata is fine and they have earned money. Raja says he doesn’t need money, he only needs here. Rani says Kaali Prasad is with him, he will enjoy with him. She says there are a few days when she will leave, till then they can play daily. Raja asks for promise, she takes his hand and takes a leave. Bari Rani Maa thinks this story of Raja and Rani ended before it could begin.
Swarna comes to Nari Niketan and asks about Raaj Mata, the manager didn’t know about it. Swarna says she has to get such embroidery done, can she get her the address of Raaj Mata.
Raja comes to accuse Bari Rani Maa the reason that Rani is leaving, she couldn’t see Rani be his friend as she disliked Rani always. Bari Rani Maa asks Raja if he trusts her, she wasn’t behind anything. Raja says no, he thought Bari Rani Maa was different but Rani is right, she is a witch. He blames Bari Rani Maa for snatching the money Rani needed.
Lakhan comes there to the manager and introduces himself as Priya’s son. He explains she got really unwell and had to be taken to hospital. The manager tells Lakhan that the prize money had been given to someone else, but their hardship didn’t go in vain. She takes Lakhan inside to meet Swarna. Both were shocked watching each other, Swarna stands up, both move to each other.
Bari Rani Maa poses to be innocent to Raja, whatever they did to Jeewan any grandmother would do the same. Raja apologizes for saying so much. He wonders what he should do, Rani is his only friend. She is a nice girl, so are her parents. Bari Rani Maa was fed up of this Rani-mania. She asks Raja to stop it and hugs her.
The manager comes to introduce Lakhan as Priya’s son. Swarna demands to speak to him alone. The manager leaves the room, shutting the door behind. Both move to each other with trembling hands and cup each other’s face. Lakhan kneels on floor crying, and hugs Swarna tight.
In the palace, the servants assure Rani they would pray for her granddaughter. Rani takes a leave. Bari Rani Maa comes to her and requests her not to leave the palace and forgive her, in an apologetic way.
Lakhan tells Swarna that Lakhan died that night, no one should know he is alive, not even their daughter. He asks her to keep it a secret until he takes her and his daughter out of palace. Kaal must not know that not only him but… Swarna says Raaj Mata is also alive. Swarna tells him that Raaj mata met him yesterday, she hugged him as well but Rajeshwari came there and she ran away from there. Lakhan thinks about Raaj Mata’s fear, he judged she was hiding something. He wonders Raaj mata hid from him about Swarna being alive.
Rani forbids Bari Rani Maa to join her hands. Bari Rani Maa tells Rani that she is from older days, she was born when the country wasn’t independent. She never understood that there is no difference between a free and a slave man. But she and Raja opened her eyes. Raja tells Rani that she doesn’t need to mortgage Kaali Prasad with him.
Lakhan comes to Raaj Mata, he asks when he must go to Kasoli? Raaj Mata was in a hurry to leave. Lakhan gets away from the way, Swarna stood behind. Lakhan asks if he must really call her Maa or Raaj Mata.
Bari Rani Maa was ready to give Rani her salary and bear the expenses of her grandmother’s treatment. She promises to get Raaj Mata treated here. Rani and Raja hug Bari Rani Maa.
Lakhan blames Raaj Mata for only calling her a son but not accepting him, else she wouldn’t have turn away his happiness behind. He tells Raaj Mata they have a daughter, of Rani’s age. Raaj Mata was shocked to hear.
Rani was ready to do anything but can not do this, Jeewan is a rude and spoilt child. She can’t be friends with him. Bari Rani Maa says that she had given Raja the courage, she can teach Jeewan to behave. Rani was worried. Bari Rani Maa says if Jeewan finds a good friend, he would also get better. Rani was worried that Raja would dislike her friendship with Jeewan. Bari Rani Maa says if she became their friend, both brother would live happily. Rani says she won’t do this for her but for Raja, if Jeewan gets better Raja would really be happy and nothing is important for her than this. She shakes the golden hand of Bari Rani Maa.
Jeewan was chilling in his room with finger in his nose. She comes to scold him for that. Jeewan asks why she came in his room? Rani calls herself his friend. Jeewan disgust says she is a maid and he a prince, he watches Bari Rani Maa on the window and says if she can teach him riddles they can be friend. Rani cheers and assures she would turn his turtle like mind into a rabbit. He forwards to shake his hand with her, she avoids.
Bari Rani Maa comes to Raja who had been restlessly waiting for Rani. Bari Rani Maa heavily tell Raja that Rani is with Jeewan. Raja wonders if Jeewan is teasing Rani. Bari Rani Maa says they are now friends. Raja couldn’t accept this. Bari Rani Maa says Rani is a good girl, he could have given Rani more money till yesterday but since Kaal loves Jeewan more he might be able to pay her more money. Raja doesn’t accept Rani can betray him ever. Raja runs up, Bari Rani Maa says his eyes would betray him.
Rani tells Jeewan counting about a few samosa, she asks if he has five samosa and Raja takes two how much is left. Jeewan says he doesn’t give samosa to anyone. Rani heads to teach him with fruits nearby, Jeewan drops a mango and bend to pick mango up. His pants torn, both laugh. Raja comes to question Rani why she came to be friends with Jeewan? Rani remembers she promised Bari Rani Maa not to tell Raja who asked her do so. Rani was speechless. Raja calls all the girls to be alike, selfish. Bari Rani maa thinks she spent a whole seven years after Raja, she can’t let her ruin that.
Rani demands what he means by selfish. Raja tells Rani that he proved to be her friend and gave her money. Rani argues that Raja didn’t buy her like a doll. She can’t always abide by him, she isn’t a servant of Raja. Raja twists Rani’s hand, both leave the room and part ways. Bari Rani Maa laughs victoriously. She was determined not to let this crack ever fill in. She walks into Jeewan’s room, he says he can’t bear that girl anymore. Bari Rani Maa brings him table full of eatables. Jeewan gets crazy, Bari Rani Maa caresses him to do what she asks for.
Swarna stops Lakhan, he says he lived without her and his daughter for seven years. He thought she wasn’t in this world, and she awaited him. Swarna says she didn’t shed tears for last seven years, but now they have betrayed. Lakhan was determined not to let Swarna stay in palace anymore, he won’t even let Raaj Mata alone. He asks her to go home and get ready. Swarna tells him that in the evening, Kaal and Bari Rani Maa go out for club. Lakhan promise to come on the back wall of palace in the evening, he would pick her here.
Rani comes to school and laughs watching the teacher snoring. Raja and Bindu mind. Rani slaps the tray on the table, teacher wakes up at once. He asks Jeewan for homework, and appreciates Jeewan has written all the answers. Rani boasts. Raja shows his work. The teacher appreciates Jeewan’s over Raja’s, and leaves for lunch break. Raja asks Rani if she helped him. Rani says friends help each other. Raja teases Rani by giving her mask to Bindu as birthday present. Bindu goes to show it to everyone, Rani was upset.
Raaj Mata comes out where Lakhan sat on floor, annoyed. She gives him tea and sits beside him. Lakhan says whatever she did won’t change what she did already. Raaj Mata tells him she was worried for Rani. Lakhan calls Rani as his daughter. He tells Raaj Mata they are going out of Amirkot, but this time five of them would leave. Raaj Mata wonders how she would bring Swarna and Bindu. Lakhan says no one in the palace know about Rani, he will save Rani from that Bari Rani Maa but his wife and daughter as well.
Raja complains Rani why she gave his food to Jeewan.
