Shagun Pandey and Ashi Singh who plays Meet Ahlawat and Meet Hooda in the zee world series “Meet in love” are not in talking terms, oh yes. This rumor has been going around for months and both actors kept denying the allegations.
Shagun in an interview said they don’t need to be taking pictures and doing reels to prove that they are in good terms.
Well, Meet is set to complete two successful years in August and the makers are set to introduce a generation leap very soon to spice up the show. Amid the excitement for leap, the latest rumours suggested that everything is not well between Meet leads Shagun Pandey and Ashi Singh..
Well, Shagun Pandey has finally opened up about his alleged cold war with Ashi. Dismissing the reports of issues between then, the actor stated that they’ve working together for the past two years and it would’ve been impossible for them to consistently deliver their best performances if there was a cold war between them.
Shagun told a leading portal, “We are cordial and we don’t have to be great friends to give our best to the show. We don’t have to prove to people that we get along well by clicking pictures together or making reels. Just because my social media does not have pictures with Ashi, it does not mean that there is an issue. We work perfectly in tandem with each other and the show has been doing well.
“As the show will soon take a generation leap, Ashi Singh will continue to play the female lead and will be reintroduced as the daughter of Meet and Manmeet. Shagun, on the other hand, is set to bid adieu to Meet.
