Marriage For Duty On ZeeWorld Wednesday 24th December 2025 Update, Reet tells Poonam not to worry about what society thinks. Poonam says she isn’t worried about society but about her family, feeling misunderstood by everyone. Reet reassures her, saying people will understand in time. Poonam decides to stay in the guest house, but Raghav asks her to stay in the room, joking that Reet snores too much and she won’t be able to sleep. Reet argues with Raghav, and they exchange playful comments.

Unnati reflects on Pooja’s words, feeling her life is slipping out of control. She enters her room and sees Dhruv has decorated it for her. She thanks him, and they share a sweet, romantic dance moment together.
The next day, Raghav is shown sleeping on the couch. Reet tries snoring beside him to see if he wakes up as he had mentioned. Raghav wakes and asks what she’s doing. Reet says she’s checking if he wakes up for her snoring. Raghav laughs and admits he only said it so Poonam wouldn’t worry.
Sharda gives money to the lawyer, who tells her the only way for Viren to get out of jail is if Poonam withdraws her police complaint. Sharda says she has already tried, and the lawyer urges her to keep trying. Later, Sharda calls Raghav through a police officer, warning that Viren will be moved to central jail the next day and this is their last chance for compromise. Raghav refuses and cuts the call.
Sharda talks to Viren, asking if Raghav has agreed to help him. He says no, and later Sharda intentionally injures Viren and takes a photo of him.
Reet brings Poonam to breakfast with the family. Pratik leaves the table after hearing Poonam’s comments, while Sharda’s husband apologizes to Poonam and leaves. Divya asks Poonam to eat in her room, and Reet comments on the situation. In the office, Reet learns that Neelam is handling Poonam’s domestic violence case, which worries her since Neelam would do anything for TRP. Reet requests Shekar to allow her to cover Poonam’s story herself, and he agrees, giving her one hour.
Poonam brings breakfast to Sharda, who pretends to be worried about Viren. Poonam sees Viren’s photo on Sharda’s phone. Sharda encourages Poonam to walk her chosen path and hands over divorce papers.
Reet gives her story to Shekar, hoping it will be shown correctly. She silently tells herself that she told Poonam’s truth as best as she could.
Poonam visits Viren at the police station. Viren shows her a drawing he made in jail, which includes him, Poonam, and two children. He asks for her forgiveness, promising counseling and controlling his anger. Reet, passing by the station, notices Poonam’s car and stops. Viren holds Poonam’s hand as Reet tries to take her away and calls the cops to separate them. Reet takes Poonam away.
Unnati prepares food for Dhruv and receives a call from Shefali, informing her that Pooja has opened her eyes briefly and will recover from the coma soon. She grows anxious hearing this.
Poonam assures Reet she knows what Reet is thinking and says Viren has realized his mistakes. Reet warns Poonam not to weaken now, or she will never escape the pain she has endured.
Sharda instructs Pratik to gather the family at 8 PM. Later, the news shows Neelam covering Poonam’s domestic violence case with maximum TRP, falsely portraying the Suryavanshi family. Reet tries to explain, but the family doesn’t believe her.
The next day, Shekar and Neelam cut a cake celebrating the high TRP. Reet confronts Shekar for changing her story. Neelam claims her version is more interesting, and Reet feels insulted. Anuradha and Unnati criticize Reet, while Reet defends her intentions, saying the Suryavanshi family is hers too.
Sharda gives Poonam the divorce papers and advises her not to trust Reet blindly. She mentions that Viren signed the papers while expressing he cannot live without Poonam. Later, Sharda talks to Raghav, saying Viren’s actions were wrong but she will not forgive Reet for what happened.
Reet returns home, where Raghav leaves upon seeing her. She gives Poonam the story to read, but Poonam tears it, saying her opinion doesn’t matter. Reet leaves.
The next day, Poonam goes to the police station to withdraw her complaint. Reet tries to stop her, but Raghav takes the papers and makes Poonam sign. Viren is released from jail. Reet angrily tells Raghav she will never forgive him and leaves.
Poonam ties a Rakhi to Raghav, asking him as her brother to fulfill her wish of getting Viren out of jail. Sharda gives Aarthi to Poonam and Viren at the doorstep. Raghav warns Viren to behave, assuring Poonam’s safety. Reet confronts Raghav, asking how he allowed Viren’s release, and Raghav says it was Poonam’s wish.
