Episode 50
Sid opens the door to Prishant’s house and they all go in.
Grandmother asks for the bathroom and Sid shows her.
When she comes out, Sid tells her to pretend her back hurts. She falls to the ground like she fell and complains of her back.
DD says it’s because the bathroom is wet and slippery.
DD tells them to call a doctor.
Sid pretends to call a doctor but he is actually his friend.
Prishant’s Grandmother and some of her friends peep to see grandmother and they laugh at her. They decide to have some fun at the expense of the rich people.
The doctor comes to look at Grandmother.
He says she needs to rest.
DD tells Bablu to call their family doctor so he can send an ambulance.
The doctor says that will be fine.
Sid kicks him and he changes his tune to, she can’t move, she needs to rest.
The doctor leaves and DD says they can’t all stay there.
Sid asks Grandmother if she will be able to spend the night there
She says she can.
DD begins massaging Grandmother’s head and tells her to rest.
She sends Bablu to go and get a hot water bottle from the market.
Sid and Roshni are in the kitchen making tea and Sid is fooling around.
Prishant’s grandmother comes to the house with her friends and they cramp on the chair with DD.
DD stands up, holding her nose.
She asks Sid who they are.
Prishant’s grandmother overhears her and says in that place, they all live together unlike where DD stays, which is a big house but has no one.
Sid serves everyone tea.
DD asks for tissue to wipe the rim of her cup.
Prishant’s grandmother and her friends pour their tea unto the saucer and drink from it.
Roshni’s grandmother copies them and DD says it’s disgusting.
Grandmother reminds her that she used to like it as a child,; she used to slurp loudly from the saucer.
Roshni laughs and DD tells Grandmother not to embarrass her
Sid gets a call from Prishant asking if all is going well at the house.
Sid tells him everything is going on well and his grandmother is helping.
Prishant says he just wanted to check and he has to go as he has a client to attend to.
Rajveer is the client. He asks Prishant if he can get a refund on his down payment for the house as be incurred a crisis and can’t afford it anymore.
Prishant says it’s against their policy but he will find out from Mr. Khurana.
Rajveer says “Khurana?”
Prishant says “Yes, the boss, Raj Khurana.”
Prishant goes to Raj’s office to inform him.
Raj tells Prishant that he should give the customer a full refund, even though it’s against their policy.
Prishant comes out and sees Rajveer standing in front of Raj’s office.
He informs him that he will get his refund.
Rajveer says he wants to thank Mr Khurana for his kindness.
Prishant tells him he can’t go in there.
Rajveer moves past Prishant and forces his way into the office.
Raj has his back turned.
Rajveer introduces himself as Rajveer Singh.
Raj immediately knows he’s the one, so he doesn’t turn around.
He presses his security alarm and some security guards come in to take Rajveer out.
Prishant asks Raj who that was and Raj says he’s DD’s other son in law.
Rajveer gets to the car park and tells himself that he knows that Mr. khurana is related to Sid.
He gets a call from Gafur asking if the work is done.
Rajveer assures him that his plan is foolproof.
Grandmother complains of hunger.
DD says she will order food from a good restaurant.
Grandmother says she can’t wait for that.
Sid says he will get her from outside.
DD says street food is disgusting.
Grandmother reminds her that she used to love it as a child.
Sid laughs and DD asks him if he doesn’t have somewhere to go.
Sid asks Roshni to come with him.
As they walk outside, Roshni tells Sid that something good had come out of grandmother hurting her back, now they are all talking together; in DD’s big house, no one talks to you but a small house brings them all together.
They get to the food vendor and as Sid is ordering, DD comes to ask the vendor what sort of oil he’s using and if the health inspector has certified him fit to sell.
Sid tells her that no health inspector checks them and that’s how they have been running the business.
He and Roshni leave to get drinks.
DD follows them.
Prishant’s grandmother tells the vendor to add a lot of chili to the potato snacks he’s selling to Sid and Roshni.
As everyone eats, they complain about the chili being so hot even after they told the vendor not to add any chili.
They fan their mouths and have tears in their eyes.
DD laughs at them because she is the only one not eating.
She asks Sid if there is baking flour in the house.
He says there is.
DD goes to the kitchen to make them all snacks.
Everyone rushes to DD for the snacks.
She serves them.
Roshni takes a bite, stares at DD and tells her it is fantastic.
DD is happy.
Sid tells DD that she made something good out of the food she couldn’t eat and he thinks she actually misses the middle class life.
He says one can’t tell she’s a rich business woman because she looks just like a housewife; when he met her the first time, he knew there was something special about her.
DD asks if it was when they met on the flight or when she saw him stealing at the hotel.
Grandmother laughs and Sid says he feels embarrassed. He tells that her memory is very good.
DD tells Sid that his mother’s name is Simran and his father is Raj.
Kesar is fighting sleep at the office.
He goes to check the safe, then goes back to sit.
Rajveer peeps at him from the window.
There is some noise outside and the office workers leave to go and check
Rajveer is happy that his thugs have arrived.
One of the employees tells Kesar that they have to leave because some people are trying to force their way into the office and the guards are stopping them.
Kesar leaves and Rajveer tells himself it’s now his time to act.
Sid, Roshni, Bablu and Pratima are playing a board game.
DD is on the phone with Kesar.
Sid gives Grandmother a signal and she calls DD to come and help her apply the cream the doctor gave her.
DD ends the call and goes to Grandmother.
Grandmother tells DD to look at them, they are enjoying themselves.
DD says she has things to do.
Grandmother tells her to just go and join them in the boardgame.
Sid prays for DD to join them so that his mission will be complete and he can finally tell the truth.
Prishant’s grandmother goes to the power switch and uses a pair of scissors to cut the power to her flat.
The power goes off and Sid is upset that his plan has failed.
Rajveer decides to do something about the CCTV in DD’s office.
He goes to a computer and enters the code which turns the cameras off.
DD asks Sid if he paid his electricity bills.
He says he definitely did and can afford to pay for his electricity.
Rajveer enters DD’s office and goes to the safe.
He hears Kesar’s voice and hides.
Kesar enters the office.
A cleaner comes in to clean but Kesar asks him to leave.
He looks at the safe and tries to remember the code.
Rajveer sneaks out and goes to watch him from outside as he punches in the password to open the safe.
Rajveer takes photos of the jewelry sets as Kesar examines them.
Kesar hears the camera click but doesn’t see Rajveer.
Grandmother suggests another game.
DD asks how she can play in the heat.
Grandmother says they will all hear her sing again for the first time in ages.
Sid asks DD if she can sing then says because she can cook well doesn’t mean she can sing.
DD says she won’t fall for the bait.
They play ‘inie minie miny mo’ and it lands on Sid, so he sings Roshni a love song.
DD admires them.
Bablu sings a very short love song to Pratima next, then it’s Grandmother’s turn.
She sings a Justin Bieber song and tells them that just because she is old doesn’t mean she can’t know the current songs
When it’s Roshni’s turn, she doesn’t know what to sing.
Grandmother suggest she sings a lullaby.
Roshni says she doesn’t know any as none was sung to her as a child.
DD tears up.
Kesar falls asleep on the chair in DD’s office.
Rajveer enters with a mask on his face.
He goes to the safe and takes out the jewelry sets then replaces them with fake ones.
Everyone is sleeping, except Sid and Roshni.
Grandmother is sleeping on the bed while DD is sleeping next to Bablu and Pratima on the mat.
Sid turns the fan to face them.
Roshni tells him that it was a fun day for all of them and it was all thanks to him.
