Sid is standing by the balcony, deep in his thoughts.
Roshni joins him and says she will say the same thing he said to her, it doesn’t matter who believes him, she believes him.
She begs him not to let what Mona said get to him; relationships are fragile.
Sid says relationships are not fragile but problems can shatter relationships. He begs her to promise that no matter the problems, she will not let it affect their relationship.
Roshni makes him a promise not to leave his side no matter what.
She reminds him that they have to go and spend sometime with the children for new year’s eve.
Sid says when they come back they need to spend time with her mum.
Simran and Raj are getting ready to go and join Roshni and Sid for new year’s eve.
Simran says she doesn’t feel right leaving Kritika all by herself.
She suggests taking her with them but making her promise not to say anything to Roshni.
Raj tells her Kritika won’t keep her promise and he knows she will create a scene over there; he doesn’t want anything to go wrong especially as they haven’t seen Sid and Roshni in a while.
Kritika appears in the doorway and tells them to go to their party.
She accuses Simran of not being strong enough to stand her ground.
Raj says her behaviour is what is preventing them from showing her off to the world and the day she changes, he will proudly tell the world she is Kritika Khurana.
Raj takes Simran’s hand and they leave.
Sid and Roshni take the children out.
Roshni tells Sid that the children are so adorable. Would he want a baby boy or baby girl.
He chokes on his drink and says he already has a baby girl.
Roshni panics.
Sid says her name is Roshni.
Roshni playfully punches him.
Simran and Raj arrive.
Sid and Roshni are very happy to see them.
Simran hugs Roshni and asks to see the kids.
Kritika is watching from her car and crying as she sees Simran hug Roshni.
Roshni asks Simran for her gift so Simran gives her a bracelet and helps her put it on, then they hug again.
Sid asks for his own gift.
Simran gives him a bowl of his favourite sweets.
Kritika can’t stop the tears as she watches them all tease each other and have fun.
Simran feeds Roshni and Sid.
Kritika tells herself that Simran calls her ‘daughter’ but doesn’t express her love to her the way she is doing Roshni.
Sid takes a child to the bathroom and Raj leaves the women to talk
Simran tells Roshni that she wants her and Sid to come and live with them.
Roshni tells her not to worry because Sid has managed to bring her family together and they will be able to come home soon.
Simran hugs and prays for her.
Kritika is still watching and crying.
Raj tells Sid not to worry.
Sid says he can’t get over what he discovered about Rajveer and he is worried that by the time he gets enough proof to expose him, it might be too late.
Raj tells him to be careful and not make any move till he has enough evidence.
Sid says that’s all he’s waiting for.
They see a bottle fly-past them and shatter on a tree.
Raj says it must be from a drunk person.
Kritika is the one who threw it.
She hides behind a car and is angry that the bottle missed Sid’s head.
Rajveer is on the phone with a contact who tells him that Sid made enquiries about his life in the US too.
He decides he needs to do something about it.
Samaira asks him if he’s ready for the party.
He gets upset and accuses her of caring about only 2 things, party and shopping and if she cared enough, she would know he is stressed.
He says her sister and husband are making enquiries about his US life and if she cares about him she would leave him alone.
He grabs her forcefully by the shoulders as he talks then shoves her.
Mona sees it and she is confused.
Sid Roshni, their parents and the children all countdown into the new year together and they all dance to celebrate.
Sid holds Roshni and wishes her a happy new year.
Kritika says they are so happy and she can’t stand it. She will make sure she takes it away from them.
DD is at home with her mother.
Grandmother asks if she won’t attend the New Year’s eve party.
DD says she is using the opportunity of Sid and Roshni not being home to plan a reception for them.
She tries to call Mona but grandmother tells her to leave Mona alone as she is not speaking to anyone since the incident with Roshni and Samaira.
The party planners come to the house and they settle for a beach party.
DD says she wants a ritual as well so she can bless them.
Pratima says she couldn’t attend their wedding so this would be fun.
Grandmother says finally Sid would be receiving his mother in law’s blessings and he insisted on staying in the house just to get that.
DD asks for the guest list and looks through.
She says Pratima didn’t include Sid’s parents on the list and she wants them to be there. She doesn’t away to fight with them anymore.
Grandmother says she’s very proud of DD. She says her son in law has changed her for good.
DD tells her not to praise him too much.
Mona enters and says she has seen that things have been happening in the house, her daughter and son in law are being accused of a lot of things in the house and in spite of all that, DD is planning a party for her own son in law and daughter so she has become biased.
DD says she has always treated Sam and Roshni the same way and brought them up alike.
Mona says if that were the case, DD would have been planning a party for Sam and Rajveer too.
She says DD doesn’t even care about the worries of the people who have been there for her.
DD tells the planners to please excuse her.
They leave and Mona asks DD if she has planned what to do about her and her daughter, after all she threw Kesar and Resham out so DD should let her know if she wants to throw them out.
She asks DD why she doesn’t want to make them feel like they belong in the family anymore.
DD says Mona has always treated Roshni like a daughter and she has done the same for Samaira.
Mona says she’s not sure that’s how things are anymore.
She walks away.
Grandmother tells DD that she doesn’t understand why things go wrong anytime something good is about to take place in the house.
DD says she doesn’t understand why Mona is upset with her. She complains that if she doesn’t bless her daughter and son on law there’s a problem and if she blesses them, there’s also a problem.
Simran and Raj say they have to leave.
Roshni says seeing her the first day of the year means they will keep seeing them soon.
A taxi comes and Roshni tells them to go with it.
Simran tells them to go and Sid says they still have the children so his parents should go.
As they get into the car, Raj tells Sid not to worry.
Kritika watches them in and tells herself that Sid stole everything from her so she will murder his wife and if she can’t be happy, Sid won’t be happy either.
One of the kids drops his prsent in the middle of the road and Roshni bends to pick it.
The kids sees Kritika’s car coming and pushes Roshni out of the way.
The car hits the boy and he rolls on top of the bonnet to the roof and falls on the other side.
Sid rushes to Roshni who is bleeding from the head but she tells him to check on the boy.
Simran and Raj get home and ask for Kritika.
The help says she has gone out.
Simran says she may have gone to see that boy.
Raj asks who it is.
Simran says Kritika has a boyfriend but she has never seen him.
Kritika comes home looking frazzled.
She goes to her room.
Sid and Roshni take the boy and other children to the hospital.
The doctor tells them that he needs to inform the police.
DD tells her mother that she needs to call Sid and Roshni to wish them a happy new year.
She calls and Roshni tells her she’s in the City Hospital.
DD panics and asks what happened.
Roshni says one of the boys got hit by a car.
Roshni gets dizzy and faints while still on the phone.
DD panics and tells her mother she needs to go to the hospital.
Roshni is on the bed with a bandage on her head.
DD and grandmother rush in.
Roshni tells them she’s fine now.
DD asks what happened and Roshni tells her.
Roshni says she wants to go and check up on the little boy.
DD tells her she can’t go.
Roshni says just as DD is worried about her,so is she worried about the little boy.
DD gets to the ward and sees the boy is being treated.
Sid assures her nothing will happen to him.
DD apologises to Roshni and says she will ensure the boy is fine.
The police arrive and ask Roshni if she saw who drove the car.
Roshni says she can never forget her face.
She says it was a black BMW and the number starts with MH and ends with 25.
The police say they can find her.
DD tells them to find her and teach her a big lessen.
Kritika is crying at home. She knows they won’t spare her.
She asks why she got so drunk and wanted to kill Roshni.
Simran enters the room and asks what happened.
Kritika says she is scared they might get separated.
Simran hugs her and says she won’t get separated from them.
Kritika lies that she hit a child by accident with her car.
Simran suggests they go to the police before they come to get her.
Kritika begs Simran to help her so they don’t get separated again.
The doorbell rings.
The inspector informs them at the hospital that the car has been traced and Roshni needs to come to the station.
DD says she will go with Roshni.
A nurse calls for who has A+blood type.
Sid says he has and he goes with her.
The inspector says the car is registered in Khurana enterprises name.
At the police station, Roshni identifies the car from a CCTV footage.
The inspector tells them to issue an arrest.
The police arrest Kratika and charge her with drunk driving and hitting a child.
Simran says she didn’t do it on purpose and they will foot the hospital bills.
The inspector tells her that a lady is already paying the bills.
Simran asks who lodged the complaint against Kritika.
The Police say it’s DD Patel and Simran can arrange for bail.
They take Kratika away and Simran breaks down.
She asks what she has done to DD for her to keep punishing them.
Raj tells her to get a grip and remember a child was almost killed and the car Kratika was driving is for him.
