Jhanak On Starlife Monday 17th August 2026 Update, Jhanak goes to Indranath’s house, but the security guard refuses to let her inside without an appointment. He asks her to get an appointment first. Jhanak tells him that her husband was kidnapped by Ankush’s men, so she needs Indranath’s help. The security guard says Indranath is not well, so he cannot do anything. Jhanak calls Indranath, but there is no response. A police officer comes there and tells Jhanak that she cannot meet Indranath and that Indranath cannot help her in any way. He tells her to meet the Home Minister instead.

After some time, Jhanak reaches the Home Minister’s house. Parashar and the villagers also come there. The security guard refuses to let Jhanak go inside without an appointment. Jhanak tells him that it is about her husband, so she has to meet the Home Minister. She explains that her husband is a police officer who was kidnapped, and she needs help to save him. She requests the security guard to let her go inside. A team of police officers arrives there, and the villagers begin protesting. Jhanak explains the whole issue to the police officer.
The officer comes out of the Home Minister’s house and asks them to stop protesting. Jhanak refuses to stop. She says she could not meet Indranath and has come there to seek help to save her husband. She says she will not move from there no matter what. The officers decide to stop the protest.
Meanwhile, Aniruddh meets the Home Minister and talks about Rishi. The Home Minister says he will try his best to save Rishi. He also says that he recently met Rishi at his marriage with Aditi. Aniruddh thinks that Rishi is now Jhanak’s husband. The Home Minister asks Aniruddh to tell Aditi not to worry. Aniruddh introduces Dritimaan and Sanjhbati to the Home Minister.
Dritimaan tells the Home Minister that he is their last hope and reveals the kidnapper’s demands. Aniruddh says he has many expectations from the Home Minister. The Home Minister assures him that he will try his best. He asks Aniruddh to bring Aditi the next day.
Aniruddh then hears Jhanak’s voice as she protests outside. The Home Minister calls his assistant, Sanjay, and asks what is happening outside. Sanjay tells him about Jhanak’s protest. Aniruddh asks whether the police will beat the protesters. Sanjay asks why the police would do that.
The Home Minister goes outside his house, and Jhanak asks him to help her. He asks her what help she wants. Parashar tells the minister that he wants Rishi to be freed within 24 hours. The Home Minister asks Aniruddh whether they are Rishi’s acquaintances. Aniruddh nods.
The Home Minister asks Jhanak to meet him the next day instead of protesting like this. Jhanak tells him that she does not have time and that it is important for her to talk to him now. The Home Minister says he does not have time because he has to attend an urgent meeting. He tells her that Aniruddh is Rishi’s father-in-law and knows Aditi very well, so they do not need to worry about anything. He then leaves.
Jhanak asks Sanjhbati what is happening there. Dritimaan tells her that they came to talk to the minister about Rishi. Jhanak says she will do whatever she can. Sanjhbati asks Jhanak not to misunderstand them. Jhanak says she does not have time to think about anything and has to find Rishi at any cost. Dritimaan asks her not to worry because everyone is trying to find Rishi.
Meanwhile, Neelu asks Tanushri not to worry because Aniruddh has gone to meet the Home Minister. Tanushri says no one has returned yet. Neelu says their problem was Jhanak, but she has left the house, so they do not need to worry about anything. Tanushri says she does not even want to hear Jhanak’s name and that Abhimanyu did the right thing.
Dritimaan and Sanjhbati arrive there. Tanushri asks them what happened. Sanjhbati says the Home Minister will help them. Tanushri tells Dada Bhai that he should not have supported Rishi when he wanted to divorce Aditi.
Dada Bhai says he understands that Tanushri is scared, but she should not blame Jhanak for anything. Neelu says Jhanak is fooling them. Dada Bhai says Jhanak is a trustworthy person. Dritimaan explains that Jhanak was protesting to save Rishi and is doing her best to find him.
Tanushri says Jhanak is not the right person. Dada Bhai asks her to trust him. Tanushri says her life has become a curse. Dada Bhai tells her that he understands what she is going through. Tanushri starts crying. Sanjhbati asks her to trust them because Jhanak is not a bad girl. Dritimaan consoles Tanushri.
