Aditi agrees and gives a gift to Sanjhbati. Sanjhbati notices the necklace looks expensive. Arshi jokes that Sanjhbati is expensive too, just like the necklace.
Sanjhbati accepts the gift and asks if Aditi won’t return to the Chatterjee house. Aditi questions what about Jhanak. Rishi says Jhanak is his responsibility. Aditi wonders why Jhanak is his responsibility when she’s staying at Sanjhbati’s house. Indumati tells them not to talk about it now. Tanushri makes it clear that Jhanak won’t return to the Chatterjee house no matter what. Just then Jhanak brings juice for everyone. Aditi says she wants to talk to both Rishi and Jhanak. Rishi says there’s no need. Aditi asks if Rishi will speak for Jhanak. Jhanak replies that Aditi has already said a lot about her and Rishi, and she only meets him for important things like this marriage.
Aditi brings up the restaurant incident where Jhanak was holding Rishi’s hand. Jhanak says Aditi misunderstood the whole thing. Arshi tells Jhanak to withdraw the case because they are dignified people and don’t want court drama. Rishi taunts that now he gets why they really came. Jhanak refuses and says filing the case against Aniruddh was necessary, so she won’t drop it. Aniruddh says he knows about Jhanak’s tough childhood, but she’ll suffer when the DNA test comes back negative. He suggests she focus on her career instead and offers money for her studies. Rishi shuts it down and says Jhanak doesn’t need Aniruddh’s money because he’ll handle her studies himself.
Jhanak asks why she would take Aniruddh’s money when he never accepted her as his daughter. Arshi questions why Jhanak accepts Rishi’s help then and what their relationship even is. Dritimaan steps in and says let’s just celebrate the marriage. He asks Jhanak to serve the juice. As she does, Aniruddh secretly mixes a pill into one glass. Aditi drinks the spiked juice. Aniruddh notices and tries to push it away, but it’s too late. He asks if she’s fine. Aditi says she’s feeling dizzy, then faints. Everyone panics and rushes to her. Aniruddh begs her to open her eyes. Arshi immediately blames Jhanak and asks what she mixed in the juice. Jhanak denies doing anything.
Arshi accuses Jhanak of wanting to kill Aditi to get Rishi. Aniruddh gets worried and says they need to take Aditi to the hospital fast. He thinks she might die. Jhanak keeps saying she didn’t mix any poison. Arshi repeats that Jhanak wants Aditi gone. Rishi looks confused. Tanushri claims Jhanak is trying to get rid of Aditi. Arshi warns she won’t spare anyone if something happens to Aditi.

Sanjhbati’s mother wonders why only Aditi fainted. Kaka says Aditi’s condition is critical, so Rishi should head to the hospital. Rishi agrees but first collects a sample of the juice. Jhanak tells him she didn’t do it. Rishi says he wants to prove she’s innocent. Jhanak apologizes to Sanjhbati’s mother. Sanjhbati’s mother brings up the hostel incident where Jhanak got thrown out. Rishi insists Jhanak is innocent. Kaka notes that anyone would get triggered if everyone targets them. Jhanak asks why she would kill her own sister and begs them not to suspect her. Kaka says they don’t know if Aditi will survive, and there’s no poison in his house anyway.
Rishi suggests maybe Jhanak mixed something wrong by mistake and says he has to go to the hospital. Sanjhbati’s mother asks where he’ll take Jhanak. Kaka worries the police will come to question her and they can’t deal with that. Sanjhbati’s mother requests Rishi take Jhanak away from there. Jhanak says she understands and goes inside to pack her things. Kaka tells Rishi to be happy with Aditi and not go against Aniruddh for anyone else. He says Aditi’s family and Rishi’s family wouldn’t do this. Only Jhanak gains if Aditi dies. Jhanak overhears and gets shocked. Rishi stands firm that Jhanak is innocent until proven otherwise.
