Nidhi tells Karan that he is making a mistake by ignoring Rajveer’s wrongdoings. She insists that Karan must punish Rajveer if he wants to earn Shaurya’s respect. However, Karan tells her that he knows what he is doing. Nidhi refuses to back down and asks him to stop protecting Rajveer. Kareena also claims that Rajveer is unlucky for the family, but Karan warns her not to say such things again. Nidhi compares Rajveer to a snake, leaving Karan furious. He tells her to shut up, while Kareena asks him not to allow Preeta and Rajveer to destroy the Luthra family. Karan warns her not to involve Preeta in the matter. Nidhi then argues that all their problems will disappear if Rajveer and Preeta stay away from the Luthra house.

Meanwhile, Preeta tells Rakhi that Nidhi was right because Rajveer is working for Anshuman. Rajveer insists that she has misunderstood the situation, but Rakhi assures Preeta that she trusts him. Kavya also approaches Rajveer and tells him that she understands he may be guilty about something. However, she reminds him that they are family and can work together to resolve everything. Preeta scolds Rajveer and asks him to help Karan get Shaurya out of lockup. She reminds him that Shaurya is like her own son, which means he should also consider Shaurya his son.
Rajveer promises to help Karan secure Shaurya’s release. Rakhi and Kavya smile after hearing his decision. Kavya tells Rajveer that she wants to support him, and he thanks them for understanding him. Palki then announces that she will accompany them, unaware that they are going to visit Shaurya. They all get into the car and head to the police station.
When they arrive, Shaurya questions Kavya about why she has come with Palki and Rajveer. Palki scolds him for speaking that way when they have come to help him. Rajveer also explains that he wants to help him, but Shaurya taunts him. Kavya becomes angry with Shaurya and walks away, with Palki following her. Shaurya then asks Rajveer what he wants from him. Rajveer explains that he wants to know everything that happened. He also reveals that he knows Anshuman deceived Shaurya and wants to find a loophole in Anshuman’s plan.
Shaurya accuses Rajveer of working for Anshuman and blames him for his arrest. He also questions why Anshuman’s goons tried to attack Rajveer. Shaurya then makes an inappropriate remark about whether Karan and Preeta are having an affair. Rajveer warns him not to say anything against Preeta, but the two soon get into a fight. A constable intervenes and orders them to stop fighting, while Palki and Kavya try to separate them.
The police inspector calls Karan and informs him about the fight between Shaurya and Rajveer. He also scolds both of them. Palki takes Rajveer away from the scene, and Kavya asks him what happened. She tells him that she had high expectations of him and reminds him that Shaurya is immature and frustrated, so they should try to understand his behaviour. Kavya becomes emotional and starts crying. Rajveer wipes her tears and promises to find evidence that will prove Shaurya’s innocence. They then leave the police station.
Later, the police inspector warns Shaurya about his behaviour. Shaurya complains that nobody cares about him, not even his family. Karan assures him that they love him, but Shaurya refuses to speak to anyone. Meanwhile, Preeta asks Rajveer what happened at the police station. Rajveer explains that he could not get any information because Shaurya refused to listen to him. She then asks whether he fought with Shaurya, and Palki reveals that they got into an argument. Preeta questions Rajveer about what Shaurya said, but he refuses to repeat his words. She understands that Shaurya must have said something hurtful and reminds Rajveer of his promise. Rajveer assures her that he will keep it.
Back at the police station, Shaurya continues refusing to speak to anyone. Nidhi asks him to at least talk to her, but he says that he will speak to them once they return home. Karan explains that they are doing everything possible to get him out of lockup, but Shaurya complains that he cannot see any results. He then reveals that even Rajveer came to meet him. The police inspector takes Karan aside to speak with him.
Shaurya tells Nidhi that he will not talk to her if she comes with Karan. Nidhi explains that she feels helpless seeing him in that condition. She says that she misses him terribly and would have given everything to save him if the company were in her name. Shaurya admits that he feels lonely and explains that he became irritated when Rajveer came to meet him. Nidhi asks him to take care of himself.
Meanwhile, the police inspector warns Karan that Shaurya could be sent to jail if he continues behaving badly. Karan apologises to the inspector on Shaurya’s behalf. Kareena also explains that Shaurya is emotionally disturbed and asks the inspector to understand his situation.
The following day, the Luthras wait for Rajveer and Preeta to arrive. Soon, Rajveer, Preeta and Palki arrive, and Rajveer apologises to the family. Nidhi immediately reminds everyone that she had already said Rajveer was responsible for everything. However, Rajveer explains that Shaurya is not in lockup because of him. He says that he apologised to Karan because they had an argument. Karan then hugs Rajveer, who quietly tells him that he needs time to deal with everything. Karan expresses how happy he is to have Rajveer in his life.
Mahesh asks what they are discussing. Rajveer explains that he could not get any information from Shaurya, but he has a plan. Karan thanks him and says that he feels as though his son is standing beside him. He secretly hopes to bring Preeta and Rajveer back into the Luthra house.
Nidhi offers to speak to Shaurya and convince him to share information with Rajveer. However, Rajveer tells her that there is no point because Shaurya will not understand. Preeta agrees with Nidhi, while Karan points out that Shaurya listens to her. Nidhi then leaves, and Aarohi asks what is happening. Nidhi reveals that she intends to provoke Shaurya against Rajveer and Preeta.
