Jeet happily enjoys the parathas from Shaumya’s tiffin while Shaurya forces her to dance to a vulgar song. However, Shaumya refuses and pushes him away. Just then, a ball accidentally hits Jeet’s tiffin, causing the parathas to fall to the ground. Furious, Jeet picks up the ball and deliberately pours water over Shaurya’s music system. When Shaurya questions his actions, Jeet replies that if he can ruin his parathas, then he can also ruin his brand-new speaker.

Later, Shaumya enters the classroom but slips and falls. During the Hindi lesson, the teacher’s uncomfortable behaviour makes her uneasy. Before the class can continue, Pakhi arrives and takes Shaumya to the stage for the freshers’ introduction.
However, Shaumya struggles to introduce herself because she lacks confidence. Pakhi encourages her to believe in herself, but she remains hesitant. Just then, Shaumya receives a call from her mother and rushes home.
At home, Shaumya discovers that a prospective groom and his family have come to see her. The young man asks whether she sings, but her brother dislikes the way he questions her. Shaumya’s mother hopes the proposal will work out and describes her daughter as pure as the Ganga. When the boy tries to speak with Shaumya, she remains silent, forcing her aunt to step in and handle the awkward conversation.
Shaumya eventually speaks, but the boy immediately loses interest. As she returns his phone, she overhears him calling her “defective”. His words leave her heartbroken, and she struggles to hold back her tears. In the process, she accidentally drops his phone.
Jeet witnesses Shaumya crying. When the groom prepares to reject her, Jeet deliberately wipes his dirty hands on the man’s shirt and sarcastically apologises. He claims that he was also trying to reject Shaumya after saying sorry. His actions leave the groom embarrassed.
Overwhelmed by the situation, Shaumya breaks down and questions why boys always get to reject her without anyone asking for her opinion. She wishes she could reject someone for once but never gets the opportunity. Vedant calls to check on her, and Shaumya admits that she has disappointed her father. However, she ends the conversation, promising to speak with him later.
Meanwhile, Jeet teases Shaumya about having a boyfriend and jokingly offers her a beer to boost her confidence. She accidentally drops the can, and it lands on Anup. After learning that the marriage proposal has been rejected, Anup immediately sends her to her room. Shaumya’s aunt mercilessly taunts her and blames Anup’s upbringing. Deeply hurt, Anup simply asks Shaumya to go and rest.
Later, Pakhi visits Shaumya and helps her practise her introduction for the freshers’ event. With Pakhi’s encouragement, Shaumya finally agrees to participate. She begins to understand that life can still become sweet after bitter experiences.
The next morning, Shaumya dreams that she is standing on the stage while Jeet keeps asking her to bring his tiffin. She wakes up, prays to God for strength and continues practising. Before leaving, Jeet reminds her to pack extra parathas for him.
At home, Shaumya’s aunt once again tries to discourage her. Anup silently asks Madhu to prepare breakfast without speaking to Shaumya. However, Madhu encourages her daughter to remain confident.
