Takshak comes to meet Ashoka and his group. Ashoka realises he hasn’t drank alcohol now. I will have to do something so he loses his senses. Takshak demands for an intro. Ashoka replies that brave people don’t fear anyone. I broke the security which you were so proud of. Takshak says you wont be able to go back alive from here. Takshak pities Jagannath’. You came here to fight with this kid. Kaurvaki says I pity you. You mistake your death to be a kid.

Takshak appreciates Kaurvaki’s beauty. Kaurvaki calls him a coward or he would have accepted the challenge. Ashoka agrees. He is already scared to see me. It is no point challenging him. Radha Gupta gives Ashoka’s intro before Takshak. Takshak reprimands Jagnanth for trusting Maurya’s again. You dint learn from your mistake. Ashoka and Takshak challenge each other for a fight. Whoever makes the other rub his nose on earth first wins!
At night, Charu looks at the soldiers making preps for Holika Dahan. She is worried for Sushim. He should be here by now. Is he in some problem?
Sushim demands to be freed. Nicator says you can only shout but it wont help. Your father will not come here. There was only person, your beloved brother Ashoka, who could come to save you. Sadly, he isn’t here. It is impossible from him to come back from where he went to.
Takshak and Ashoka engage in a sword fight. Ashoka ends up stabbing Takshak but Takshak pulls the sword out. He pushes Ashoka.
Nicator comes to celebrate Holika Dahan with Bindu and the royal family. Siamak looks happy. Charu thinks Sushim too should have been here if Nicator was here. I don’t know what he is up to. Bindu asks for Sushim. Charu covers up saying he said he wont play Holi. Holi was Drupad’s favourite festival. He said he wont play it ever. Bindu too does not want to play Holi but is helpless as he is the Samrat. Dharma thinks God knows the truth. You (Bindu) will realise how pure Ashoka’s heart is when the right time comes. Ashoka’s every deed is for the good of Magadh. Give strength to my son so he succeeds sin establishing truth and dharma.
Takshak is holding Ashoka by his neck and pushes him towards dirt. Ashoka picks up a stone and begins to attack him. Takshak loses conscious. Ashoka picks up his sword. He has his back to Takshak. Takshak gets up. Kaurvaki notices this in shock as she takes a step towards Ashoka. Ashoka slits Takshak’s neck.
BIndu starts the ritual of Holika Dahan. Dharma hopes Ashoka too ends all the evil from Magadh this way. History will only remember the good things then. Nicator thinks this fire has the hidden darkness that will eat up Magadh. We will tomorrow play Holi with Bindu and his blood.
Kevalnath wakes up. He gets happy recalling it is Holi today. I got this empire on the day of Holi only.
He holds out his hands while greeting Sun. Blood falls in his hands. Kevalnath shouts in shock. This cannot be. Ashoka says i don’t like this commotion in the morning. Kevalnath calls for the soldiers. Ashoka says i killed Takshak and entered inside your palace. No one saw me. You still think they can hurt me? Kevalnath demands to know who he is. What do you want? Ashoka suggests him to return what he snatched from someone. Kevalnath declines. Ashoka says i have the upper hand here. i will give you another chance. He shows the army to him. Bindu is helping Jagannath. I, Ashoka Maurya, am here following his orders. My brother and father are only waiting for my signal. They will attack from both the sides as soon as i send them a signal. You have to decide with what you wish to play Holi – blood or colours.
Siamak wishes Holi to his parents’ photo with blood. He talks to Justin’s photo. I don’t know why God dint made me your son. I don’t know why but I feel close to you. I promise you I will take revenge for the insult done to you. I will also fulfil your wish today.
Siamak greets his father. Don’t worry all bad things come to an end. I will free you from the same. Bindu is impressed by his maturity. So much happened in your life but you are so rooted to everything. You have always been calm and have never demanded for anything. Where are the other family members? Siamak says I haven’t seen brother since long. Bindu asks him to inform Charu he wants to meet her. I will wait in Shubhrasi’s room. He wishes Siamak Happy Holi by applying colour on his face. Dharma feels sad. I dont know why Ashoka and I are being punished. I worry more about this father son duo rather than Magadh.
Kevalnath apologises to his brother for becoming greedy. Jagannath forgives him. They share a hug. Jagannath’s wife hugs her husband and daughter as well. Kevalnath announces that he will be given his thrown back today on the day of Holi only. Ashoka wonders what will be happening in Patliputra.
Sushim says Unani’s don’t know what they are landing themselves into. Father wont spare anyone. Open my hands and I will show you. The commander slaps him. Nicator says Bindu only did one good thing. He became Ashoka’s father. I can kill you in no time. Sushim calls him a coward. It is you who came here to attack on them stealthily. Nicator keeps his sword near Sushim’s neck. I wont kill you so easily. I will first kill your father to empty the throne. Later I will kill every single person from the Maurya lineage so no one is left who can challenge me tomorrow. At the end, I will make him sit on the throne who actually deserves it. I will snatch everything from you right before your eyes. I will kill you when you will be completely broken. He tells his commander to keep a tight vigil on Sushim. He leaves. Sushim looks at him.
Kevalnath make Jagannath Maharaj again before the citizens of Kalinga. Everyone cheer for Maharaj Jagannath. Kaurvaki smiles looking at Ashoka. Jagannath says I always say if it is not perfect (or happy) then its not the end. My presence here proves it right. It is like a dream. I would have thought of it to be a dream only but dreams are not this beautiful. Entire credit goes to Kaurvaki whose bravery, skilfulness saved me from Takshshila. Everyone is taken aback. Nayak looks angry. Citizens cheer for Kaurvaki. Ashoka notices her sad face. He too cheers in her name just to cheer her up. Nayak says I agree Kaurvaki played a major role. But it will be a cheating to Yuvraaj if Maharaj says that it was only Kaurvaki who rescued him from there. Acharya Radha Gupta stops him. this isn’t the right time. We have become friends with Kalinga after long. We need to be patient and build faith. The relations can become tricky if something goes wrong. Jagannath and his wife apply colour on each other’s face. Ashoka misses his parents. Kaurvaki notices him touching his bracelets. She applies colour on his face wishing him Happy Holi. Her parents look unhappy. She runs away when Ashoka picks up colours too. He chases her.
Dharma imagines playing Holi with Ashoka. It turns out to be Siamak. He says I miss Ashoka Bhaiya. I wouldn’t have spared him if he was here today. He would have been my first target. He smirks.
Kevalnath remarks that kids looked happy in this palace after years. He notices his brother looking upset. What happened? Jagannath orders to make preps for Ashoka’s return asap. Kevalnath smirks.
Ashoka and Kaurvaki apply colour on each other. She takes him with her as she wants to tell him something. Jagannath looks at them from far.
Nicator gives a potli to Siamak. It is time to do what we wanted to do since years. This has every solution to our problems. It tastes sweet but anyone who tastes it loses conscious. Make the soldiers drink it. open the back door as soon as it happens. Mir and I trust you a lot. If anything goes wrong then you cannot imagine what the consequences will be. You will have to make use of everyone’s trust.
Kaurvaki brings Ashoka to Shiva temple. They coincidentally ring the temple bell together and smile. She looks at the box kept before the idol. This was the gift to our first generation. I want to give it to you as a thank you gift. He reasons that this belongs to her family. How can you give it to me? He agrees. A family member will have to make me wear it. She dons the necklace around his neck. Jagannath is upset. What did my daughter do? How can she dare to love an enemy? Magadh and Kalinga cannot be friends. I can never accept it. people do many things when helpless. This is why I accepted Bindu’s invitation. I lived in the palace where Maurya’s live. I can never forget that I was insulted and thrown out of my empire because of the very same Maurya’s. I can never forget it!
Siamak gives the intoxicated drink to soldiers after which they all fall unconscious. He opens the back door for Unani army to enter inside the palace. Unani army comes out of their hiding place when they get his signal. A servant brings more thandai for the soldiers when he notices them all lying unconscious. Dharma is passing by from there. She notices the Unani army and is shocked. Ashoka is also not here. What will happen!
Ashoka feels restless. It happens when Ma is some problem. Kaurvaki says past day have been too painful for you, especially between you and your father. you lived up to his promise. You won this war without killing anyone. he will be proud to know about it. It will impress everyone including your father.
Dharma tells Bindu about Unani army attacking on the palace. He deduces that Nicator cheated them. It was his plan to attack us. I wont leave anyone today. He asks her to inform Mahamatya. Take all the queens and kids to a safe room.
Bindu kills the Unani soldiers.
